APPOINTMENT OF ELECTION COURTS

IN EXERCISEof the powers conferred by section 60 (5) of the Constitution of Kenyaand section 19 of the National Assembly And Presidential

.- Elections Act, the Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya directs that the Election Petitions whose details are given hereunder shall be heard inthe -

High Court of Kenya by Election Courts comprising of the Judges andsitting at the court stations indicated, respectively, in the sixth and seventh

columnsof the schedule below on such dates to be fixed by the Election Courts on priority basis in terms ofsection 19(4) of the said Act. The

Election Courts will give directions as to thehearing of the petitions during Mentions thereof on Monday, the I Ith February, 2008 except where

otherwise indicated in the schedule. .
