IN GOOD TASTE Q: What would be the location for an ideal wedding? I would love to elope to a beach for a quiet affair. A freshwater beach with a beautiful sunset offers a magnificent backdrop for photos and a terrace garden overlooking the beach is perfect for an intimate ceremony. Q: What would the décor be like? According to me, the décor should reflect the style of the bride and groom. I would prefer a soothing ambiance with pastel colours like pinks and blues, even creams and ivory spring to mind. The main elements for the décor can be blooming floral arrangements, crystal chandeliers, and flowing drapes of pastel shades. Q: What kind of food should be served? Should it be a sit- down or a buffet? It should be a combination of sit-down and buffet. The menu should combine sumptuous dishes that entice the eye as much as it delights the palate. Q: What kind of clothes, accessories, and jewellery should the bride and groom don? At Indian weddings, more is less. But I believe comfort is the most important aspect of clothing.
