Zakir Husain College of Engg & Technology did not have any website- neither student’s nor official
Results were displayed in a basic text format online on the personal webpage of Chief Tabulator.
We were the first;To take an initiative;And come up with an online student portal of ZHCET

We felt the need of a service which can update the students about notification and news of college….
…. That too directly on their cellphones
Hence, we developed a web based SMS service… which could update the students about important notifications

• First ever college SMS service of its kind in India
• Comprises of integration of the Web API with the network providers.
• We have currently 834 students registred with the service

In this semester we plan to send individual RESULTS by SMSs…. The SMSs will be sent automatically to each individual as soon as the result is uploaded.
Three years back, ZHCET didn’t have any official website. It was after the launch of theTECHNOCRATZ that authorities realized the importance of a website……

Our team Successfully implemented ‘GOOGLE APPS’ Communication & Collaboration Applications in College system under the ‘Got The Aptitude’ Challenge organized by GOOGLE & FMS, Delhi in which over 100 top-notch colleges from across India participated. Led the college to the TOP 5 position beating all the IITs & NITs.
We have undertaken a number of dynamic web-development projects for Online Registration & Event Management for various National & University level Events: [IMPACT 09, MTECS 09, FILMSAAZ 09, ZARF 09, RADOSS 09 TEKELAN 08, KUDOS 08 & others] and developed many other websites for various departments and colleges
We envisioned to have a social network of our own….
A place where all the aligs could come together on a single platform

ZHCET Forum has been founded with the intention of encouraging entrepreneurial activities and enhancing skills under the esteemed Entrepreneurial Development Cell of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology
This may help students to find their way as entrepreneurs in their respected fields of interests. Furthermore, by promoting an entrepreneurial spirit among the students we can help the nation grow faster and solve many economic and social problems being faced.
