Seeley International’s latest cooling innovation Breezair EnviroMagic

Breezair EnviroMagic has been specifically designed for cooling large industrial buildings at a fraction of the conventional cost of power. It features a range of benefits:

Efficiency

Breezair EnviroMagic is like no other evaporative cooler. Designed using computer modelling to optimise efficiency and performance, it delivers up to 28,650 m3/h @ 80Pa duct pressure, and uses our state-of-the-art inverter motors.

In a world-first approach, the Breezair EnviroMagic uses high-efficiency axial fan modules in conjunction with venturis and turning vanes to reduce cooler power consumption and minimise noise. Fan modules are inclined to improve airflow through the cooler.

The inverter motor technology delivers greatly increased operating efficiency, particularly at lower speeds, which means remarkably reduced seasonal running costs.

Breezair EnviroMagic can be used in two different modes.

COOL MODE: The watering of the pads occurs in one of the three sections on a cyclical basis. The fan speed reduces as each section is watered and increases as the cycle moves on. The resultant output is a running average of the fan speeds.

VENT MODE: Without the water supply, the fans work continuously, without slowing, to achieve maximum airflow output.

Convenience

Because it’s lighter than other industrial coolers, Breezair EnviroMagic is easier (therefore, cheaper) to install. It’s also perfect for roof structures that are unable to support the weight of large metal commercial coolers. Thanks to its flexible design, Breezair EnviroMagic can be easily disassembled for handling and quickly reassembled by installers, if necessary. And, its lower centre of gravity makes it much easier to lift and manoeuvre on a roof.

Designed to look good

The ultra-low-profile styling means Breezair EnviroMagic can seamlessly integrate with any roofline. This is perfect where the building zoning regulations require roof mounted equipment and services to be located behind parapet walls.

Regulatory Compliance

Breezair EnviroMagic is designed to meet CE and UL approval requirements.

Permatuf Corrosion-proof Cabinet

The Breezair cabinet will not corrode or rust. The UV stabilized structural polymer material is the same type used to make acid baths, battery cases and some space satellite components. Plus, it’s designed to blend with any property.

Thermostat Control

The Breezair range features a thermostat for fully-automatic control.

Breezair’s TBA, Icon and EnviroMagic feature advanced technology and a range of unique and clever design features that combine to achieve the highest cooling performance of any comparable cooler.

AQUAFlow

Breezair’s AQUAFlow non-clogging water distributor is one of the many features that make it unique. The water distributor maximises cooling efficiency by supplying a continuous and balanced flow of water across the cooling pads. This is different to any other brand of evaporative cooler, which are subject to water flow variations for a number of reasons. Breezair’s balanced flow delivers the highest possible evaporation efficiency and maximum cooling.

ChillCel High Efficiency Pads

With strong, long-lasting Chillcel pads that last for up to seven years, maintenance is easy. Chillcel pads are made from organic paper materials that are cleverly manufactured into honeycomb panels that have outstanding structural and cooling strength. They are easy to clean and replace, when necessary. Seeley International has manufactured Chillcel pads (90 mm thick) specifically to achieve optimum performance in evaporative coolers, and, they have a proven track record. Clean and Dry Function

The cooler drains automatically when it’s not in use, preventing algae growth and maintaining a clean cooler.

Digital Smartbox / Control Power Module

A state-of-the-art digital electronic control delivers optimum performance. The Smartbox digital control module monitors and controls all of the air conditioner’s features to provide ultimate comfort conditions, temperature sensing and water quality supervision – safely and reliably. The module also incorporates diagnostic features and memory to aid troubleshooting and minimise downtime. Several user choice parameters are available to allow users to set up their preferred environment.

In addition to the clean and dry function, the Natural Chlorinator is offered as an optional accessory for Breezair EnviroMagic. The Natural Chlorinator keeps water healthy and extends the life of evaporative media.

The thermostatic control for Breezair EnviroMagic automatically adjusts the building temperature and prevents running the cooler when not necessary, reducing energy and water consumption.

The Breezair EnviroMagic cooler features two watering channels for each pad to achieve maximum pad saturation.

The Breezair EnviroMagic light weight polymer external structure and stainless steel internal structural components are made from corrosion-resistant material.

The Breezair EnviroMagic Chillcel high performance pads are almost twice as thick (112 mm), compared to standard commercial pads (60 mm).

WATERManager System

The Breezair WATERManager ensures optimum machine life with minimum maintenance by constantly checking water quality. As the water in the air conditioner evaporates, it leaves behind impurities and salts, which can become deposited on the cooling pads, resulting in reduced cooling power. The WATERManager senses water quality with a probe that sends a signal back to the electronic module, which then ejects some water and allows fresh water to enter.

The WATERManager in EnviroMagic has been enhanced with an additional probe to handle the water management requirements of this innovative cooler. The Breezair EnviroMagic electronic probe maintains correct water levels in the unit at all times.

Smart Hub Industrial Wall ControlThe Smart Hub is used to enable multiple Breezair variable speed air coolers to be controlled from one wall control. When used with “Industrial Wall Control” (IWC) the Smart Hub provides Evaporative Cooler fault information to the wall control display.

The IWC can handle up to 10 smart hubs and control up to 41 Breezair coolers. The IWC identifies any faulty cooler in a group and provides comprehensive fault diagnostics enabling any cooler in a multi cooler installation to be quickly identified and repaired. The IWC10 may also be set up to control Breezair cooler from EXTERNAL devices, such as PLCs and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Breezair EnviroMagic uses high-efficiency and super powerful axial fan modules in conjunction with venturis and turning vanes to reduce cooler power consumption and minimise noise. Fan modules are secured on an incline to maximise airflow through the cooler.

Breezair’s fan motor is fully enclosed to international standards and excludes any moisture ingress from all sources. The advanced design is rigorously tested and completely reliable.

Centrifugal Fan

Centrifugal fans are the first choice of air conditioning engineers worldwide. The Breezair forward curved, centrifugal fans are made from injection-moulded polypropylene. They are double-width, inherently statically and dynamically balanced, with aerofoil blades to provide high pressure performance and very low noise levels.

HushPower Direct Drive Motor

Exclusive to Breezair, this motor is super-efficient and electronically controlled for optimum efficiency. Corrosion resistant, it’s the quietest motor available and has unsurpassed reliability, reduced energy use and runs at variable speeds.

Tornado Pump

The perfect pump for the job! The Tornado pump is built to last. Designed, manufactured and tested by Seeley International, the Tornado pump epitomises reliability. It features very safe material choices, an encapsulated motor with overload cut-out, stainless steel shafts and bearings fully protected from water. Plus, it has a clever impact-start feature that will overcome any tendency for the pump to become locked up with residue during prolonged off periods. The strong synchronous motor has constant speed, independent of voltage.

AUTOWeatherseal

The AUTOWeatherseal closes the duct automatically – stopping convection currents in winter from allowing cold air to enter, or heat to escape. When the fan is off, the Breezair AUTOWeatherseal shuts and blocks those air currents. The result – a more comfortable environment in winter and no need to add covers during the off season.
