INTERNATIONAL EMO CONFERENCES

Forum “New Technologies – Future Opportunities”From Monday, 16 September to Friday, 20 September 2019, scientists and company representatives will be dedicating themselves to four fields repre-senting the production technologies of the future. Learn about the latest de-velopments in additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, OPC UA, and new standard interfaces. In the “Industry 4.0” field, we shall be presenting user reports and information on aspects of data security and platform economy.

Additive manufacturingAdditive manufacturing is advancing throughout industry. Facilitating the direct transformation of data into products, this technology will introduce sustaina-ble changes in the development, manufacturing, and business processes of the future. Of particular interest here is the sector for metallic components, where Germany adopts a key role thanks to its many technology providers. At the heart of this sector, you can therefore expect the corresponding exhibitors at EMO 2019. At the same time, two half-day conferences will treat this sub-ject in depth, and you are cordially invited. There, users can discuss and learn about international applications. The organiser is the European machine tool association CECIMO (www.cecimo.eu).

EMO MATCHMAKINGWith their “cooperation exchange mart”, EMO organiser VDW will be work-ing together with Enterprise Europe Network to help exhibitors and visi-tors establish new business contacts. By car:– From the north / east / west Coming from the direction of Hamburg (motorway A 7), Berlin or Dortmund

(motorway A 2), follow the electronic dynamic signs towards “Hannover/Messe”.

– From the south Coming from the direction of Kassel (motorway A 7), take exit no. 60,

“Dreieck Hannover-Süd”, and proceed along motorway A 37 (B 3 exhibition grounds expressway) towards “Hannover/Messe”.

By public transport:– From the city centre You can reach the exhibition grounds from Hannover Main Station (“Haupt-

bahnhof”) with the subway (“U-Bahn”) no. 8 or 18 (Messe/Nord) in 17 min-utes (entrances “NORTH 1” and “NORTH 2”) or with the suburban railway (“S-Bahn”) S4 (Bahnhof Hannover Messe/Laatzen) in 7 minutes (entrance “WEST 1”). Tram lines no. 6 and 16 run via “Kröpcke” station to the exhibi-tion grounds (“Messe/Ost” station). From there you can reach the “EAST 3” entrance on foot.

– From the airport All year round, from the suburban train station with line no. S5 (between
