GOOD REASONS TO ATTEND EMO HANNOVER

One of the world’s leading trade fairsIn 2019, Hannover will once again become the centre of the world of metal-working, because EMO Hannover is the undisputed leading trade fair in the industry. EMO Hannover is the only fair which covers the globalised markets throughout the world – and it does so right in the middle of Germany, one of the most important customer countries.

International characterExhibitors come to EMO Hannover from all over the world and from all seg-ments of metalworking technology. With approximately 65% of exhibitors from outside of Germany, EMO Hannover is the world’s most international trade fair for metalworking. Experts from the industry know and recognise that fact – which is another reason why no other trade fair can match the international character of EMO Hannover’s visiting public.

Highest innovation densityEMO Hannover’s exhibitors have long since aligned their innovation cycles to the world’s leading trade fair for metalworking. As a result, more innovations are unveiled here than at any other trade fair in the industry – which in turn makes EMO Hannover 2019 a key point of reference for the decision-makers in the production technology segment.

Ideal opportunity for comparisonEMO Hannover is unsurpassed in the breadth and depth of what it has to offer, encompassing all production areas, ranging from machine tools as the nucleus for industrial manufacturing to precision tools, transport automation and industrial electronics. And this draws the full spectrum of user industries to Hannover.

CompetenceIn terms of the technical expertise and decision-making competence of its visitors, no other trade fair can match EMO Hannover. And this is due to the unparalleled innovation potential of productivity and efficiency that awaits them. EMO Hannover 2019 is the meeting point where the most competent suppliers and users all converge in one place.

Attractive programme of eventsEMO Hannover 2019 offers an attractive programme of events comprising conferences and special shows. For further information, please refer to the section “Special topics and events” in this brochure and on the internet under: www.emo-hannover.de/en/supporting-program/.

INTERNATIONAL EMO CONFERENCES

Forum “New Technologies – Future Opportunities”From Monday, 16 September to Friday, 20 September 2019, scientists and company representatives will be dedicating themselves to four fields repre-senting the production technologies of the future. Learn about the latest de-velopments in additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, OPC UA, and new standard interfaces. In the “Industry 4.0” field, we shall be presenting user reports and information on aspects of data security and platform economy.

Additive manufacturingAdditive manufacturing is advancing throughout industry. Facilitating the direct transformation of data into products, this technology will introduce sustaina-ble changes in the development, manufacturing, and business processes of the future. Of particular interest here is the sector for metallic components, where Germany adopts a key role thanks to its many technology providers. At the heart of this sector, you can therefore expect the corresponding exhibitors at EMO 2019. At the same time, two half-day conferences will treat this sub-ject in depth, and you are cordially invited. There, users can discuss and learn about international applications. The organiser is the European machine tool association CECIMO (www.cecimo.eu).

EMO MATCHMAKINGWith their “cooperation exchange mart”, EMO organiser VDW will be work-ing together with Enterprise Europe Network to help exhibitors and visi-tors establish new business contacts. Already in advance of EMO, a data-base-supported platform will be used to schedule meetings between visiting professionals and exhibiting companies. Further information available under: www.emo-b2b.com.

GUIDED TOURS Guided tours / subjects and special tours:Utilise the EMO Hannover guided tours to gain an ordered, concise, and bal-anced overview so you can target those subjects that you are really inter- ested in.From Monday, 16 September to Friday, 20 September 2019, the exhibi-tion tours of about two hours’ duration will take you to exhibitors who will demonstrate to you in about 15 minutes their innovative products and optimal solutions. On the tours for diverse subjects, you will find the offers for your specific en-gineering fields and interests.

In addition to the fixed EMO Hannover guided tours, we can also offer you tailored tours for individuals or groups.Further details on schedules and subjects can be found at:www.emo-hannover.de/en/supporting-program/guided-tours/.
