Unit 1: Key Geographical Themes Rivers and Coasts Population and Settlement Natural Hazards Economic Development 1 hour written exam (higher and foundation tiers) worth 50% of the final grade. Unit 2: Geographical Enquiry A fieldwork investigation and written report completed in class time under controlled conditions based on river environments. The report is worth 25% of the final grade Unit 3: Sustainable Decision Making Exercise Develop real life skills that are relevant to future decision- making. A written exam based on a resource booklet The topic will be related to sustainable development and environmental issues. This 1 hour exam (higher and foundation), is worth 25% of the final grade.
