Join us for the entertaining and funny Jan Sandwich on Friday, January 31st at 12:30 p.m.

Jan will perform the exciting Nostalgia show, performing music from the 1920’s through the 1950’s, great comedy, impressions, and more. It will be an event to remember!

Health Insurance Marketplace Information Sessions

Maria Villalobos, the Regional Lead Navigator with Sun Life Family Health Centers will visit the library to go over the Health Insurance Marketplace and answer a lot of those FAQ’s pertaining to the ACA, the enrollment process, and AHCCCS.

Maria will visit us on Wednesday, January 15th. There will be a Spanish session at 3:00 p.m. and an English session at 4:00 p.m.

Maria will return Saturday, February 1st at 9:00 a.m. to discuss Health Insurance 101 and what questions to ask when picking coverage plans.

Starting in January, on the second Thursday of each month, the library will host Tween Ti-tans at 4:00 p.m. The first program is on Janu-ary 9th and you will get to create a paper ro-bot at the library and then take it home!

You don’t have to register. Just bring yourself, enjoy a snack, and make a cool craft after school.

After School Movie

You are invited to the library as we celebrate Lewis Carroll’s writings. We will show Disney’s Alice in Won-derland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27th.

There is no need to pre-register. Simply come on by, have some snacks, and watch the movie with your friends or family.

Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodg-son), a writer, mathematician, and photographer, also wrote: Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There.

Starting in January, the Pinal County Library Dis-trict will offer thousands of movies, television shows, and music albums, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla digital. All you need is a valid library card!

You can now begin enjoy-ing thousands of titles– available to borrow for instant streaming or tem-porary downloading to smartphones, tablets and computers.

Hoopla digital has a sim-ple sign-up, and easy-to-use interface. There’s no waiting to borrow popu-lar movies, TV shows, and

albums. And with the automatic return feature, there’s no late fees.

To access the system on your mobile device, you will need to first download the FREE hoopla digital app from the App Store on your An-droid or IOS device. Once you have downloaded the app to your device(s) and/or clicked on the hoopla digital link on our website (pinalcountyaz.gov/library) you will be prompted to enter your email address, a pass-word, your library card number, and your library card PIN number.

Once you borrow a title

on one device it is auto-matically available via all devices with the hoopla digital app and via your PC web browsers (IE 8+, Firefox 12+, Safari 5+, Chrome 19+).

When using hoopla you will be able to begin streaming the content im-mediately. You can also download content to view at a later date (in case you won’t have Wi-Fi on that camping trip).

You will be allowed to borrow 5 titles each month.

Video lends for 3 days.

Music lends for 7 days.
