The Wise Men Came to Worship Baby Jesus
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. Matthew 2:11

I.Worship the Immortal King
Immortal meaning: Never dying; living forever. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible,
the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. Psalm 95:6
The perfect example: The wise men bowed down and worshipped Baby Jesus. Matthew 2:11

III. Difference between the Child Jesus and the Herod in their homeland
Gabriel said: 1. Jesus would save his people from their sins. 2. A virgin would be with a son and his name
would be called Immanuel, which means GOD WITH US.
The wise men: 1. He would be king of the Jews. 2. They would come to worship him.
3. They would present the gifts to the child Jesus.
The angels: Good news to the shepherds and they were told that they would find the child Jesus’s clothes ` in a bed of hay.
The shepherds: They witnessed and praised God.
The Herod He was worried and unhappy about
the child born to be king of the Jews. He secretly called and asked the
wise men to bring the child. He planned to pretend to worship
the child before he would kill him. He became very angry and ordered
for the killing of the 2-year children in Bethlehem.
As a result, he died.
