ATTENTION PLEASE! Residents and/or family members – please check the resident’s wardrobe with clothing items no longer used please remove these from the wardrobe! Many are full to capacity and our laundry staff are having great difficulty putting clothing back in to the wardrobe. Please check that all clothing items are labelled.

IN MEMORY With deep sadness we announce that resident Katherine Healy passed away peacefully at Rembrandt Court on Friday 15 February 2019. We offer our sincere condolences to Katherine’s family and friends.

REMINDERS FOR VISITORS

• Visitors, please sign in the Visitors Books at Reception when you arrive and sign out when leaving.

• If taking a resident out, please note this in the Visitors Book and check with nursing staff prior to leaving the premises that medications have been administered.

• We love you to bring in your pet dog when visiting your loved one, however, please ensure that your dog is restrained on a short leash at all times and is not taken into public dining areas. Also be aware that some residents are fearful of dogs.

• Rembrandt domestic staff clean residents’ rooms and bathrooms, however, the cleaning of personal refrigerators is to be done by residents (if capable) or a family member/friend.

REMBRANDT LIVING SUPPORTING STUDENTS Rembrandt management is proud to support students in a variety of fields. Predominantly students studying for their Cert III in Individual Support but currently we

are also fortunate to have Occupational Therapy students working within our Allied Health team as well as Enrolled Nursing students.

Occupational Therapy students, Alyce and Joanne on their first ever O.T. placement for 9 weeks. Both students are helping out with community assessments, one on one rehabilitation, gym classes and hand therapy sessions – seen here with Rembrandt’s Occupational Therapist, Alex Lytas.

Enrolled Nursing Student, Vincent, is doing his placement at Rembrandt Court over the next few weeks. Vincent is also a talented singer!

REMBRANDT LIVING VOLUNTEERS Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who run Bingo on Wednesday mornings – a popular lifestyle activity!

Uit en Thuis at Rembrandt Court recently saw the very popular Copy Cats entertaining residents and visitors! Contact Sylvia Laaber (Coordinator) on 8198 0300 for further information on Uit en Thuis program and activities.

Group photo is of Home Care client Mrs Betty Wobma with her guests; her daughter, friend and her sister Eileen from Ireland here on Holidays. They all had a fabulous morning and loved Rembrandt Court stating “it's such a beautiful place”!

There is nothing staff and residents enjoy more than having a good old chat over a coffee! Above left is Lifestyle carer, Jo, chatting with residents in Hs 3, 4 outdoor area. Above right, Lifestyle carer, Annelies during a recent van trip to McLaren Vale where residents were treated with a visit to the Fruchocs shop followed by a visit to Oxenberry Wines. Residents very much enjoyed reminiscing of days gone by over a cuppa and some Fruchoc biscuits. (Thank you Heather for sharing those delicious biscuits!)
