Cubing Club!!!

Next week we are starting a new club at school! As you can tell by the title the club is called The Cubing Club! I myself will be teaching this club. Forms will be out soon, so remember to sign up while you can. This club teaches you how to solve a 3x3 Rubik’s Cube! It also teaches you how to read written algorithms, which are used to solve cubes. This club will also teach you what certain terms mean like what PB means, WR, and CR etc. This club runs from 2:45 to 3:45 on Mondays, starting on January 22nd. Mrs. Myers will be the adult supervising this club so everyone is safe. If you have your own Rubik’s Cube and you are in this club you are able to bring it with you to the meetings. If not we will be able to provide a Rubik’s Cube for you. Remember to sign up for this club, it will be a lot of fun! Come find me or Mrs. Myers with any questions.

THE I’M BORED SOCIETY.

I started by running around the halls to get my jacket.

Then I decided I wanted to bounce on top of my chair.

Obviously, I’m very bored.

Then, a Christmas tree started jumping on my desk. OH MY.

All of a sudden Jeremy from GIG (which you should read by the way)

threw an ornament at the tree, AND IT STUCK ON.

We decorate the tree. That is how the tradition came to be.

Thanksgiving was created in a weird way…

It all started when the people with the weird hats decided to kill a

turkey.

Sea of Thieves

This game is making an odd comeback into the gaming scene because of the Christmas update (The Festival of Giving) that added gifts, and multiple patches that were quite needed to tidy up the game.

Apex Legends

This game is making a comeback because they made an amazing choice! They are adding new modes to their game! Also, they are bringing back Kings Canyon (The old map). The new modes include…. Gold Rush Duos: Gold weapons only, with you and a friend. LIVE.DIE.LIVE: Automatically respawn on living squadmates every time The Ring closes. Third-Person Mode: A classic out-of-body experience.

Minecraft

Minecraft has been making a comeback for a while, but it needed to be mentioned because it is just phenomenal that it beat the market of battle royale, and it has been doing that since 2009.

Tamagatchi Life

Because popular YouTuber Poofesure has been playing it, the Wii game, originally on the D.S, has made a substantial comeback.

Pokemon: Sword & Shield

Because it is a new game it still has its original game hype. That is it.

By Alyssa Taylor and Jeremy Rhoades What’s up? Man, it feels like forever! How long has it been since we last wrote? Well, over break, me and Jeremy got some really cool video games! Playing them pretty much the entire period of time that we were at home, we found some glitches that we thought were interesting. This week, the featured video game is called Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. A small summary would be that this game was actually created on June 6th, 1993. It was released for the Game Boy, and obviously isn’t available anymore. The remake of the game was then released September 20th, 2019. That’s the history. Now for the exciting part… Da da da daaaa! The glitch! So in the game, there is this really weird kirby thing, which by the way, there are tons of Mario references in this game (even though kirby has nothing to do with Mario). Moving on. While you are in the Eagle Tower, you will find this strange thing called the Anti-Kirby, and around it are platforms you can raise. Raise the floor, then go into the strange kirby room. While Anti-Kirby is pulling you towards it (as it can’t because you are on the other side of the wall), walk out of the room and you will spin every time that you stand still. If you have the power ring, which is collected in Bottle Grotto the second cave in the game, you can pick up plants and pots and spin while standing still. You can also pick up chickens and they will hate you. Jeremy: The Wizard of Oz… Alyssa: Are you even paying attention?! That would be all!
