improve the church area. We will end the night with cards and games. If you don’t know how to play the card games come on

out any way, someone with show you how. Dinner trips are taken throughout year. A spring and fall retreat is planned each

year. These are a good way to fellowship and receive a blessing, as Pastor Richie T. brings the message each day. After the

message each morning the rest of the day is yours to plan.

Parking Team: Special thanks to all of the guys who helped out this week to get our crowd parked. If you are looking for a great

place to get plugged in, we need you in the parking ministry. We would love to have you join this ministry even if you can only

work occasionally. See Chris on Sunday Mornings or email me, [email protected].

How about that? Another Sunday service that began with several baptisms. Wow! I think that's incredible! That

means that folks are giving their hearts to the Lord, or that they are getting their lives right with Him in total

surrender, wanting to show the church and the world that they are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. With all

that's going wrong in the world, I'm glad God is giving us something to be thankful for that's RIGHT!

I want to welcome Bob Jefferies to the platform. None of our regular drummers were available to be at church this

past Sunday morning. Bob and his lovely wife, Kelly, have been visiting with us for a few months so I called him to

request his help. He did a super job filling in on the drums. I hope we have him play again soon. Thanks, Bob, for

your help.

We also had a visiting soloist with the choir. Jennifer McGee led the song, The Man, and she did outstanding. That

was a hard song but she did a great job. I have been looking forward to the Sunday when we would get to do The

Man and wouldn't you know it, we had 11 folks out sick or on vacation but the choir still did great. I love working

with our choir folks. We only have two more Sundays before the choir takes their summer break to enjoy

their families for a while and take vacations. But don't worry, we will be back when school resumes in August. I've

already started listening to the new music . . . it's going to be super!

Have a great week. DeWayne

Galatians 2:20- 20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I

now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

If you are a Christian, then your identity is not a label. It is not a reflection in the mirror, or a

circumstance. You do not have to be bound by your past. The Bible says that it is the deceiver who is

constantly reminding you of your past. Your failures. You are more than the sum of your mistakes. Who

are you? It seems like a simple question, but for some of us, we struggle.

For some of us, our identity is tied into our worst mistake. Everyone knows us by what we did or how

we messed up. Over and over we define ourselves by our failures and we begin to label ourselves.

Some of us are label makers. You may not realize it but you label people pretty quickly. The labels we

give people tend to be very effective and accurate from one point of view. Who gives you your labels?

Who have you allowed to “name” you? Thankfully You have a father in heaven that wants to name you,

but you have to have a relationship with him. Remember 1 Peter 2; But you are a chosen people, a royal

priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called

you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

over and I don’t want your student to miss an opportunity to go to this awesome camp. This week in M.S. Student Worship we turn our focus to our faith. Our faith should not be kept secret or hidden in our lives. We
