Hello! Thank you for coming to parent/teacher conferences this past week! We had an awesome turn out. Our staff works hard for your children and it means a lot to them to be able to meet with you and start the year as we strive for “One Heart, One Mind, and One Voice!” We are so excited about our 40th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, October 9th! Please come to the 11:00 service at The Woods Church to share in a special service honoring our childcare and school. Following the 11:00 service, we have a special open house style afternoon planned at the school from 12:30 – 4:00. A hot dog lunch will be available and a special ceremony will take place at 2:30. Our students will help lead the final song “To Our God” in this ceremony. Please don’t miss this great day as we celebrate “40 years of God’s faithfulness!” Check out the info about our volleyball fundraiser that’s happening on Tuesday the 11th! Don’t miss the game at 4:30! Who will win? The team or the staff? I would like to extend a personal invitation to our moms to join me on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 for a short time of devotions and prayer together. If you have ½ hour to spare, it would be a great way to start your day! We will start on October 12th. I hope you can join me! Walk-A-Thon pledges are coming in! Friday, October 14th students in grades 1, 3, 5 and 7 will have a vision screening. Please remind your student if they

have glasses to bring/wear them for their screening.

10 am - 3:30 pm

Your student should have brought home their Walk-A-Thon envelopes to start collecting donations the beginning of last week.

Our 1st turn-in date is Friday, October 14th 2nd turn-in date is Friday, October 21st

The final turn-in date is Wednesday, October 26th by 9:00 am.

Our school-wide goal is $15,000. We are asking each student to please raise $100 to help reach our goal.
