• This film is based on true story. The vow is the most romantic drama film I have ever seen. I watch it from time to time. And I never tire of watching it. Another reason why I love this movie is my favourite actor and actress. In my opinion Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams who starring in this film are best of the best.

• Winter.Everywhere is covered in snow. Newlyweds Paige Collins and her husband Leo come out of a movie theater. They are very happy. On their way home Paige unbuckles her seatbelt to lean over and kiss Leo. A horrific car accident put Paige in a coma for four months. When she awake, she have no memory of the two years leading up to the accident. She doesn’t even know who her husband is. She thinks Leo is her doctor. He is devastated, of course, but he is trying not to dwell on it, because he is just so glad she is alive.

• When her parents, Bill and Rita Thornton, learn about this and visit her, it is the first time that Leo meets them. Paige does not understand why he would not have met her parents why she left law school, broke her engagement with her previous fiance Jeremy, and why she has not been in touch with her family and friends. Her parents insist on taking her home with them and Paige agrees. Just as she's about to leave, Leo comes running to play her a voice message in which she sounds very happy and romantic.

• Paige decides to go back with Leo, hoping it will help her regain her lost memory. Paige is welcomed home with a surprise party by her friends, but as she is not able to remember any of them, she finds it overwhelming and bursts out in anger. It is very difficult to live in a strange place for Paige. • But she he doesn’t try to remember she just wants to know why she left law school, why she broke her engagement, why she didn’t talk with her friends. Leo realizes that all attempts are unsuccessful. Paige rejoins law school and Leo signs divorce papers.

• At a store, she meets an old friend who, unaware of her amnesia, apologizes for having had a relationship with Paige's dad, thus alerting Paige as to why she had left her family. When she confronts her mother about this, Rita tells her that she decided to stay with Bill for all the things he had done right instead of leaving him for one wrong act. Paige then asks Leo why he never told her, and he replies he wanted to earn her love instead of driving her away from her parents. Paige, while in class, starts sketching; thus depicting why she first left law school. She continues her interest in art, eventually returning to sculpting and drawing. Though Jeremy confesses he broke up with his present girlfriend, hoping to be back with her, she turns him down stating she needs to know what life would be like without him.

Page 18: The vow

• Paige finds the menu card on which she had written her wedding vows and is deeply moved. The movie ends with Paige finding Leo at their regular Cafe Mnemonic and going with him to try a new place instead of their regular alternative

Page 19: The vow

• I really enjoyed this movie, more than I enjoyed . Personally I liked the fact that it doesn't have a perfect, happily ever after ending, but it still has a happy ending . The fact that it's inspired by a true story makes it that much better.

My favourite scenes:• When she open the box with notes (for your

head, for your nose ,for your heart ..)

Page 21: The vow

When Paige is cold, and Leo warms her hands with his breath.

The scenes I don’t like

• When her father tries to separate them

• When everybody lie to her expect Leo.

• When they are having dinner at Paige’s home

Page 25: The vow

My favourite quote:

• Paige: Who's the President? • Leo: Of the country? • Paige: Yeah. • Leo: Obama. • Paige: The senator? • Leo: Yeah. You voted for him, actually.

(After car accident)

Page 26: The vow

• Leo: Life's all about moments, of impact and how they changes our lives forever. But what if one day you could no longer remember any of them?

• Leo: If we were meant to be together, we would be together.

 • Paige: I hope that one day I can love you the

way you love me. • Leo: You figured it out once. You'll do it

again.
