Please Remember Your Pets Must Be Authorized
Owning a pet is big responsibility. Pet ownership is a privilege extended to The Villages at Fort Irwin residents who agree
to abide by the Pet Policy resident requirements. Residents are expected to control and care for their pets in order to
provide a healthy and safe environment for the community and all furry residents. If a resident fails to act responsibly,The Villages at Fort Irwin may take an action from revoking the pet ownership privilege, leading up to termination of the
Resident Occupancy Agreement (ROA).
Remember, that it is required that residents obtain The Villages at Fort Irwin written approval before moving their pe
into the premises. A total of two pets, dog(s) or cat(s) are allowed per home. The pet owner must show proof that the pe
has been registered at the Fort Irwin Veterinarian Treatment Facility. Resident must also pay a $250 pet deposit (by
personal check, cashiers check or money order only) per pet (due at the lease signing), in accordance with The Villages a
Fort Irwin Pet Policy. If a resident does not have a pet at the time of application but acquires one at a later date, the $250
deposit is required at time of pet(s) arrival to housing, in addition to the completion of a new pet addendum.
The following breeds (aggressive or potentially aggressive dogs) are restricted from The Villages at Fort Irwin per the
DoD Privatized Housing Pet Policy: Pit Bulls, American Bull Terrier, Chows, American or English Staffordshire Terrier,Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Wolf Hybrids. Any dog with a mix of these breeds or determined by the Fort Irwin
Veterinarian Treatment Facility of having distinguishing traits of these breeds in its makeup are included.
Prohibition also extends to other dogs that demonstrate a propensity for dominant or aggressive behavior as indicated by
any of the following types of conduct:
_ Unprovoked barking, growling, or snarling at people approaching the animal
_ Aggressively running along fence lines when people are present
_ Biting or scratching people
_ Escaping confinement or restriction to chase people

Vehicle Maintenance
We apologize for any inconvenience, but dueto hazardous substance ordinances, we canno
allow residents or their guests to work on
their vehicles. Vehicles may not be repaired on
the property (including oil changes). Residents
are not allowed to empty vehicle trash
(including ashtrays) onto the ground or in
parking lots.
