Andnomaninheaven,norinearth,neitherundertheearth,wasabletoopenthebook,neithertolookthereon.(Revelation5:3)

The Authorized Version of the Holy Bible is still ( 1980–1990) the world’s mostunusualBook.Itstilloutsellsanyotherfivesecularworkscombined,andithassoldmorethanfivetimesasmanycopiesastheASV,LivingBible,NASV,RSV,andNRSVcombined,inspiteofthefactthattheAVhadnopublicitycampaignto“backitup,”nopromotionalgimmickstosellittothepublic,andnolargebodiesofChristianscholarsrecommendingittoanyone:notoncein370years.TheothercorruptEnglishversionsoftheBiblewereall the products of massive news media gimmicks, sales promotions, and advertisingcampaignsaccompaniedbygiganticscholarly“backings.”

Inspiteoftheworldwidefame(andnotoriety)oftheKingJamesVersion,itis,atthesametime,themostunknownBookintheworldifwearetojudgesuchmattersbyreadingitscontentsand thencomparing itssubjectmatterwithwhatwehearpreached, reportedand taughtabout it in theworld today. Ignoranceof theBible isabsolutelyappalling inAsiaand Japan, and ignoranceof theBible amongRomanCatholics inSouthAmerica,SpainandMexicoisalmostuniversal.Thisexplainswhythereisstillonthisearthtodayademand forBibles that is impossible tomeet;Catholic andCommunist censorshipwillguaranteethedemandisnevermet.

Atthesametimeitismanifest(orwillbeinthepagesthatfollow)thatagreatdealoftheEnglishBible is completely “sealed” (see theChapter on “Unlearned Ignorance vs.Learned Ignorance”) to English speaking people in America who have no VaticanHierarchy orSecret Police to stop them from reading it; this is especially true of thosecollegeanduniversityeducated“Fundamentalists”whowereseducedintothinkingthataknowledgeoftheGreekandHebrewlanguageswouldequipthemtobecomeacquaintedwiththeBook.

Theignorance,forexample,ofDr.A.T.Robertson,J.GreshamMachen,andRobertDick Wilson, on prophetic subjects, is phenomenal. Again, if everything that HaroldWillmington, Sidlow Baxter,Myron Cedarholm, KennethWuest, and Spiros Zodhiatesknew about the Bible doctrines of James and Hebrews were put together, it wouldcomprise the most confused mass of incomprehensible nonsense since BJU publishedStewartCuster’spamphletontheKingJamesVersion(1982).

IgnoranceoftheBibleissogreatamongmodern,Fundamentalistprofessorsthat,forall practical purposes,much of theAV is simply an unknownBible to them.Like theirAthenianancestors(Acts17:22)whowereraisedonnewscasts(Acts17:21),themodern,apostate Fundamentalists (the faculties at Dallas, Denver, Grand Rapids, Watertown,Pontiac,Greenville,FortWorth,etc.)aresooccupiedwithlittleearticklingfables(2Tim.4:1–4)thatwholepassagesintheBibleescapethemcompletely.Sincethesepoor,blinded,newsaddictsareunawareof thesepassages, it follows that theirstudentswillbe justas

unaware.Iftheprofessorhappenstoreadthepassage,hewillpurposelyavoidbringingitup to the class and will skip over it; consequently, the students do the same. Theseprofessorsreproduceaccordingtothedivinelawof“eachafteritskind”(Gen.1);andthisexplainshow50,000ministerialstudentshavebeenabletograduatefrom“Bible”schoolsinAmericasince1930(andtheseschoolsallprofesstobelieveinthe“Fundamentals”asdefinedbyBobJonesJr.,inhissermonontheBJUcreedandinJackVanImpe’sworkonHeart Disease in the Body of Christ, 1984) and how many have managed to earnpostgraduate degrees, only to drop completely out of sight without accomplishing onegenuinescripturalwork,onesoulwinningrevival,oronespiritualawakeninginanynewcommunity that they entered or in any community to which they returned upongraduating.TheycametoschoolinignoranceofcertainBiblicalpassages;theygraduatedfrom school in ignorance of those passages; and they conducted their ministries inignoranceofthosepassages,sonoonewhoattendedtheirchurchesorschoolscameoutanymoreenlightenedthantheywere.Thesepoor,deceivedyoungmenandwomenwere“conned”intopayingtuitiontoa“Bible”school(calledacollege,university,seminary,orinstitute)thinkingtheyweregoingtolearntheBible.

Theydidn’tlearnit.Theydidn’treallylearnanytranslationoftheBible.TheyweretaughtwhatsometeacherthoughttheBiblewas“about.”Theproofliesinwhatfollows.Weherepresent twelvechaptersofdiscussiononTHEUNKNOWNBIBLE: aBible

composedofnearly200verses(morethanonehundredwillbediscussedhere)whicharenever dealt with or expounded in the major Christian colleges and universities.Furthermore, no major commentator in the nineteenth or twentieth century has everapplied these verses to his contemporaries or the contemporary age in which he lived.Theseverseshavebeenisolatedorburied“inthepast”inthehopesthattwentiethcenturyChristiansintheBodyofChristwillnotfindthemandstudythem.Iftheydid,theywouldbegintowonderiftheyhadnotsoldtheirbirthrightforamessofpottagesimplybecausethe kidneybeans had “unquestioned loyalty to the originals” stampedon themor somelittlelyingsloganlike“standingwithoutapologyfortheold-timereligion.”(ThelatterisahackneyedphraseborrowedbyArlinHortonandBobJonesIII,fromBobJonesSr.)Conmenallhave“props.”

We trust this book will be “enlightening” (Eph. 5:13). The material in it is notdiscussed in any large school in America or Europe and never will be, for the versesdiscussed here pose a real and “viable” threat to those Christian educators who worryabout theirscholastic reputationsand their intellectual“images.”For these thin-skinned,apostateFundamentalistswhofearridiculeworsethandeath,theseBibleversesmakeupan“unknownBible,”averbotenBookthatisnottobereadordiscussed,letalonetaughtand preached. The Unknown Bible is the genuine terror of modern, LaodiceanFundamentalism.Youwillunderstandwhyifyoureadthisbook.

TheMilitantFundamentalistWhoWenttoHell

TheyprofessthattheyknowGod;butinworkstheydenyhim,beingabominable,anddisobedient,anduntoeverygoodworkreprobate.(Titus1:16)

Tobeginwiththeproperfoundation,weshallbeginwiththestudyofapassagethatdealsmainlywithwhatGodtoldapreachertosay.Thismayseemtobeaverychildishway to putmatters and an extreme “oversimplification” of approaching so important asubject aswe are about to discuss, but any reader of the set of books calledThe BibleBeliever’sCommentarySeries is aware of the fact that there is a vast “credibility gap”between what the Book SAYS God said and what the Book is reported to have said.ReadersoftheBibleBelievers’BulletinarealsowellawareofthefactthatanyChristian,regardless of his educational qualifications or scholastic reputation, can find out themotives and intentions of any Hebrew or Greek scholar by simply comparing his“corrections”ontheGod-giventextwithanytextoftheAuthorizedVersion.Anyeditionwilldojustfine.Thesmokescreenputupin1983byThomasNelsonandSonsbyissuinganapproximatefacsimileoftheoriginal1611edition(itwasnot“exact”byANYmeans)neverhadanybearingonthemattersweareabouttodiscusshere,andithaslessbearingtoday(1984)thaneverbefore.AnyBiblebelieverwithasixthgradeeducationcanpickupanyAuthorizedVersionandbyturningtotenverseshecanspot“thepiginthepoke”everytimehestickshissnootoutofanASV,NASV,NKJV,NIV,oranythingelsetocome.

Sotobeginwith,weshallresorttoaseriesofversesthatdealwiththewordsthatGodspoke(notetheplural:notthe“Word”ofGod).ThiswouldbetheobviousplacetostartsinceSatanconsideredittobetheproperplacetostart(Gen.3:1).Ifthisspiritualbeingwas “perfect in wisdom” (Ezek. 28) and “wiser than Daniel” (Ezek. 28:1–4) and hasprovedhimself through6,000yearsofhistory tobeable todeceive thebest andwisestintellectswhoeverlivedonthisearth(everyhumanbeingonthisearthwiththeexceptionofJesusChrist),certainlyhewouldknowwheretostartindealingwiththeBible,knownorunknown.

Here then we present the first case of a portion of Scripture that is completelyunknown to every graduate and postgraduate of every Conservative, Evangelical, andFundamentaluniversity,college,andseminaryinAmerica,withoutasingleexception.

Thepassage is somysterious that theredidnot appear—oneitherScofield editorialboard (old or new editions) or any revision committee putting out a twentieth centuryBible—one Fundamental scholar, one Conservative scholar, or one Evangelical scholarwhocouldmakeanintelligentcommentonthepassage.

You say: “Brother Ruckman, are you now going to expound the passage therebyprovingagainhowsmartyouareandhowdumbthesegreat,godlymenwere?”

No;fortunatelythereisamuchbetterexpounderofScriptureforthereaderthanPeter

S.Ruckman.The readerneednotdependonanyoneas stupidashim.There is amuchbetterexpounderoftheScripturethansomesavedsinnerwhohasbeenteachingHebrewandGreekandManuscriptEvidenceforthirtyyears.ThankGodwedon’thavetorelyonanyoneasshallowasTHAT!Noonehastorelyon“Ruckman”orany“Ruckmanite”inordertocorrectthefalseteachingsorblunderingerrorsofEnglish,Cedarholm,Gothard,Walvoord,MacArthur,Swindle,McGee,Sumner,Strauss,andScofield.

ThankGodthedumbestofushaveaninfallible“straightedge”thatcancorrectanyFundamentalistanytimehestepsaninchoverthe“centerline”inthehighway.Thiswillbeapparentinwhatfollows.

Nowhereisthecase:InNumbers,chapter22apagankingnamedBalak (who isa typeof theAntichrist:

see thematerial on aSyrian Jew fromKerioth inMoab inMark of theBeast, 1959) isupsetaboutthesuddenappearanceof600,000armedmenonhisborders(Num.22:1–4).HesendstoasoothsayerwhoissoimportantintheBiblethathisnameismentionedthreetimesintheNewTestament:oncebySimonPeter(2Pet.2),oncebyJude(Jude11)andoncebytheapostleJohn(Rev.2:14).

TheScofieldnotestakeknowledgeofthesethreereferences:theymentiontheWAYof Balaam, the ERROR of Balaam, and the DOCTRINE of Balaam. So far so good;however,suddenlya“chilldonecomeovahdemeetin”asthegodlyboardof“dedicatedConservatives” meet with the “qualified authorities” to give us an “historicFundamentalist position.” Suddenly the issue of final authority in regards to SPOKENWORDSthrustsitselfintothenarrativeandwereadthefollowinginterestingaccount:

“And God came unto Balaam, and said,What men are these with thee? AndBalaamsaiduntoGod,Balak the sonofZippor,kingofMoab,hath sentuntome,saying,Behold, there isapeoplecomeoutofEgypt,whichcovereththe faceof theearth:comenow,cursemethem;peradventureIshallbeabletoovercomethem,anddrivethemout.AndGodsaiduntoBalaam,Thoushaltnotgowiththem;thoushaltnotcursethepeople:fortheyareblessed.AndBalaamroseupinthemorning,andsaiduntotheprincesofBalak,Getyouintoyourland:fortheLordrefusethtogivemeleavetogowithyou.AndtheprincesofMoabrose up, and they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuseth to come with us”(Num.22:9–14).

Nowreadthepassageagaincarefullyandnoticethatonthesurfacenothingappearstobebadlyoutoforder;atleastnoFundamentalscholarinthelast200yearswithtwenty-twoyearsof formaleducationcouldfindanythingbadlyoutoforder. Ifyoudoubt this,choose at random twenty different commentators on Numbers, chapter 22, plus all thenotes fromforty-fiveEnglish translations, andsee if they tellyouanything reallybadlyamiss. In view of what happens following these verses, someone should have foundsomethingterriblywrongwithverses9–14.Allofthescholarsmusthavereadthepassage

withaPOSITIVEattitudetowardsDISOBEYINGTHEWORDSOFGOD.Yousee,whatfollowsisthis:

“AndBalaamansweredandsaiduntotheservantsofBalak,IfBalakwouldgivemehishousefullofsilverandgold,IcannotgobeyondthewordoftheLORDmyGod,todolessormore.Nowtherefore,Iprayyou,tarryyealsoherethisnight,thatImayknowwhattheLORDwillsayuntomemore.AndGodcameuntoBalaamatnight,andsaiduntohim,Ifthemencometocallthee,riseup,andgowiththem;butyetthewordwhichIshallsayuntothee,thatshaltthoudo”(Num.22:18–20).

Andthisisfollowedbythis:

“AndBalaamsaiduntotheangeloftheLORD,Ihavesinned;forIknewnotthatthoustoodestinthewayagainstme:nowtherefore,ifitdispleasethee,Iwillgetmebackagain.AndtheangeloftheLORDsaiduntoBalaam,Gowiththemen:butonlythewordthatIshallspeakuntothee,thatthoushaltspeak.SoBalaamwentwiththeprincesofBalak”(Num.22:34–35).

Andifthatwerenotenough,neartheendofthechapter—whenBalaamrunsintotheprototypeoftheAntichrist—weread:

“AndBalaamsaiduntoBalak,Lo,Iamcomeuntothee:haveInowanypoweratall to say any thing? theword thatGod putteth inmymouth, that shall I speak”(Num.22:38).

Now,letthereaderreviewtheseverseswhichwehaveprintedinboldfacedtypeandthenaskhimself,“Isn’ttheresomethinggoingonherethathastodowiththe‘YEAHATHGODSAID,SOCIETY’?”Isn’tthatthereal“meat”ofthepassages?Lookatthem.

1.“AstheLordshallSPEAKuntome”(v.8).2.“AndGodSAIDuntoBalaam”(v.12).3.“FortheLordrefusethtogivemeleave”(v.13).4.“IcannotgobeyondtheWORDoftheLordmyGod”(v.18).5.“ThatImayknowwhattheLordwillSAYuntomemore”(v.19).6.“ButyetTHEWORDwhichISHALLSAYuntothee,thatshaltthoudo”(v.20).7.“ButonlytheWORDthatIshallSPEAKUNTOTHEE”(v.35).

8.“TheWORDthatGodputtethinmymouth,thatshallISPEAK”(v.38).Doyouhavetohaveacollegeeducationtoseethethemeofthechapter?IfyoueverhitapassageineitherTestamentthatdealtwithacalltotheministryand

thecontentofthemessagesthataministeristopreachwhohasbeen“called”(2Tim.4:1–6),youcertainlyranintoithere.IfyoueverfoundanyplaceineitherTestamentthatdealtwithGod“verballyinspiring”some“plenaryoriginals”andcallingamantopreachthem,buster,yougotithere,withacapital“H.”

SuchapassagewillnotfailtobeaDonnybrook(Stalingrad,Waterloo,etc.)toaBibleteacher or preacher (Fundamentalist or otherwise)whohas beenoccupiedwithalteringthe word which God spoke. Mark it down; live by it and die by it: no “born again,”premillennialFundamentalistonthefaceofthisearthcouldcommentonsuchapassagefaithfully and honestly if he had spent any amount of time correcting the Bible. Thechaptercomes inon the facultymembersofTennesseeTempleandSantaRosaSchoolslikeanArcticblastonanastyday,anditcontinueswithoutintermissiontoproduceadeepfreezeonthegraduatesandpostgraduatesofBJU,Dallas,FortWorth,andLouisvillewith“drifts”twenty-fivefeethigh.

1.“WhatsoeverHeshewethmeIwillTELLthee”(23:3).2.“ReturnuntoBalak,andthusthoushaltSPEAK”(23:5).3.“MustInottakeheedtoSPEAKTHATWHICHtheLordhathputinmymouth?”

(23:12).4.“GoagainuntoBalak,andSAYthus”(23:16).5.“WhathaththeLordSPOKEN?”(23:17).YEA,HATHGODSAID??The“Californiaexpositors”haveneverdaredtoexpositthepassageatime(Swindle,

MacArthur,McGee, etc.). The students at Judson, Stetson,Howard,Clark,Mercer, andWake Forrest know nothing about the verses. Hindson and Dobson could no moreexpoundthemthantheycouldexpoundHebrews,chapter6andHebrews,chapter10.

You see, the passages deal with God calling a man to preach WORDS (not“Fundamentals”)thatGodhasspoken.Numbers,chapters22and23landstheunfaithfulFundamentalist(Biblecritic,Greekteacher,expositorsandexegetes,WycliffeTranslators,andBiblerevisors)right“smackdab”intoGenesis3:1.

YEA,HATHGODSAID???DoyourealizethatthegreatestprooftextintheentireBibleforanyonebelievingany

promise thatGodevermade toanyone, in eitherTestament,will be found inNumbers,chapter23,rightinthemiddleofthesedialoguesbetweenBalakandBalaam?ThegreatestverseineitherTestamentofanyBibleforbelievingthewrittenorspokenwordsofGod,andthepromisesthusrecorded,is:

“God is not aman, that he should lie; neither the son ofman, that he should

repent:hathhesaid,andshallhenotdoit?orhathhespoken,andshallhenotmakeitgood?”(Num.23:19).

Thosewordswerespokenbyafalseprophetwhodiedandwenttohell(2Pet.2:15–17).

NorwilltheHolySpiritletupinthisunknownBibleindrivinghometheWORDSofGodwithaforcethatwouldmakeanX-15onthelinesoundlikeanoldwomansnappingherfingers.

1. “Told not I thee, saying, ALL THAT THE Lord SPEAKETH, that I must do?”(23:26).

2.“HehathSAID,whichheardtheWORDSofGod”(24:4).3.“IcannotgobeyondthecommandmentoftheLord”(24:13).4.“ButwhattheLordSAITH,thatwillISPEAK”(24:13).Soundsalmostlikegood

oldMicaiah,themilitantFundamentalistof1Kings22:14,doesn’tit?5.“HehathSAID,whichheardTHEWORDSOFGOD”(24:16).TherehasneverlivedinthenineteenthortwentiethcenturyagreaterBible-believing,

militantFundamentalistthanBALAAM,ifwebelievewhatwehavejustread.Now these Scriptures picture the most improbable thing and the most incredible

character ever associated with the history of Bible preaching. The man doing thepreachinghereispreachingbytheSpiritofGod(24:2);hehearsthewordsofGod(24:4);he sees the future (24:4); he speaks the truth (24:4–9); he has a revelation about theimputed righteousness of God (23:21); he obeys the commandment of God (23:2); hepreaches exactly what God told him to preach (24:13); he has a knowledge of bothAdventsofJesusChrist(24:17);andthenfollowinghissermonheiskilledinbattle(Num.31:8)andiscastintoouterdarkness(Jude7–11).

HowisthatforaFundamentalist“GiantoftheFaith”boldlycontendingforthe“faithoncedeliveredtothesaints”!?

When theScofieldBoardofEditors slams into thepassage like twodozenbananasslammingintoaturboprop,theyarescatteredtothefourwinds.Theversethatthrowsbothcommitteesintotheexospheresays:

“AndtheangeloftheLordsaiduntohim,Whereforehastthousmittenthineassthesethreetimes?behold,lwentouttowithstandthee,becausethywayisperversebeforeme:Andtheasssawme,andturnedfrommethesethreetimes:unlessshehadturnedfromme,surelynowalsoIhadslainthee,andsavedheralive.AndBalaamsaiduntotheangeloftheLord,Ihavesinned;forIknewnotthatthoustoodestinthe way againstme: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will getme back again”(Num.22:32–34).

The problem that all of these “great, good, godly, dedicated, qualified, reverentBiblicists” have is WHY DID GOD TELL BALAAM TO GO WITH BALAK’SPRINCES(22:20)ANDTHENNEARLYKILLHIMBECAUSEHEWENT(22:33)?

WhenHaroldWillmington(D.D.,professorandDirectorofBiblicalStudiesatLibertyUniversity,Lynchburg,VA)slamsintothepassage,hebringsalonghistrainingatMoodyBibleInstitute,CulverStocktonCollege,CaliforniaGraduateSchoolofTheology,TrinityEvangelicalSchool,AshlandTheologicalSeminary,andDallasTheologicalSeminary.

Hebombsoutlikeahippywhoneverfinishedjuniorhighschool.All this poor, ignorantman can say is that “After asking themessengers to stay all

night, Balaam received the desired permission but was warned to say only what Godwantedhimtosay”(LibertyBibleCommentary,OldTimeGospelHour,1982,p.296).

Having admitted that Balaam had obtained permission to go with only a warningabouttheCONTENTofhismessage,HaroldWillmingtonisunabletoteachanotherversein the Bible. At verses 31–35, he freezes in his dead orthodox iceberg of scholasticdegrees (all belowzero) andgoes into an irrelevant dissertation aboutChrist and sevenpeopleintheOldTestamentwhosaidtheyhadsinned!

FortyyearsofformaleducationhaddonenothingforBalaamorWillmington.ItcertainlydidnothingforPettingill,Scofield,English,orEdHindsonwhentheygot

tothepassage.TheScofieldBoardgoesintoasonganddanceabout“permissiveanddirectivewills,”

whensuchmattersarenotevenhintedatinthepassage.(TheideapresentedtousintheNSRB is that since it was God’s PERMISSIVE WILL for Balaam to go and HisDIRECTIVEWILL for him to go (22:12), that He was going to kill the preacher aftergivinghimPERMISSIONTOGO(Num.22:20).

Imagine calling that kind of muddled nonsense “scholarship” after reading aboutPaul’striptoJerusalemagainsttheDIRECTIVEWILLofGod(Acts21–26)!

Aswehavesaidbeforeonseveralhundredoccasions,“YoumesswiththatBookandGodwillmesswithyo’mind,honey,”andGodisnorespecterofastringofcollegesanddegreesthatgotomakeupamuddauber’snest.Hewillscrewupthemindofa“born-again, Bible-believing Fundamentalist” who believes in “plenary, verbally inspiredoriginals”asquicklyasHemessedupthemindsofJimJones,M.M.O’Hair,TinyTim,WalterMondale,TedKennedy,AdolphHitler,orJesseJackson.

Wearenot saying that these savedscholarswhostumbledat thepassageandbroketheirtheologicalneckswerepsychotic;wejustsaythatwhentheissueofFinalAuthorityarises in regards to theWORDS thatGod speaks (as it arises here and is sustained forthreechapters),you“betterhadn’tmesswiththatBook.”

Adoptingourusualposition—thatanyeditionof theAV issuperior to thecombinedGreek and Hebrew scholarship of all Catholics, Protestants, pseudo-Fundamentalists,Evangelicals, Liberals, Fundamentalists, Conservatives, Modernists, and neo-Fundamentalists—let us see what actually happened in Numbers, chapter 22 where a

ConservativeFundamentalistwascalledtopreachandnearlygotkilled.Thistimewewillnotplay“ring-around-the-rosey”whenweget toverses31–36,asJerryFalwell’s“hiredhelp” did (Dr. HaroldWillmington). This timewewill use the text of theKing JamesBible(anyeditionwilldojustfine)andwatchitcutthespiritualthroats(seethecommentson Col. 2:8 in the Bible Believer’s Commentary on Galatians–Colossians) of everypreacher,teacher,commentator,pastor,bishop,revisor,translator,priest,editor,publisher,andexegeteintheworld.

Thatwasafter he was forced against his will (as we have beenforcing Christian universities, colleges, and seminaries for nearly half a century) topreachwhathedidn’twanttopreachbecauseitwouldaffecthisINCOME.

Now, are you getting any “light” on the “verbal, plenary inspired, originalautographs”?

Observe the amazing anti-Darwinian, anti-Einstein, anti-NEA, anti-Postmillennialprogressofthe“verballyinspiredoriginal.”Itbeganwiththreepoints;itwoundupwithone point (22:13). Themainreasonfor this is thatninetypercentof thefacultymembersofanymajorschool of higher learning in America (Evangelicals and Fundamentalists, as well asunsavedLiberals)areas thoroughly intimidatedbyacademicstandardsand“science”astheworstunsavedCommunistintheNationalCouncilofChurchesorintheVatican.Weare not referring here to straw dummies like “standards of separation” or “bold standsagainstNeo-Evangelicism”oranyofthathogwashputoutbyFundamentaliststocoveruptheirownsinsofBiblerejection.Whatwearesayingisthatninetypercentoftheapostate,Fundamentalisteducatorshavebeenbrainwashedbythespiritofthisage,reachingthemthroughtelevision.Thisspirit(Eph.2:1–3)isapositivespirit(seeGen.3:1)thataffectsaman’s approach tomakinga living; and the spirit of this agebreathes throughall newsmediasourcestwenty-fourhoursaday.

NowTHATisthe“spiritofthisage”inAmerica;andthatisthespiritofnearlyeveryeducatedChristian (1 John4:5)whoprofesses tobelieve in the“plenary inspiration”ofthe “verbally inspired originals” as his final authority. You see, these unread, unseen“originals”posenorealthreattohisIMAGEorhisINCOME.Whatposesagenuineandviable threat to both is the text of theProtestant English Reformation (AV, 1611). Thereason for taking a “bold stand” for the “plenary verbal inspiration of the originals” isCOWARDICE,pureandsimple.Thecowardisafraidofhisincomeandhisimage.

Themodern,apostateFundamentalistsarejustasworldlyasPontiusPilate,Herod,orDemasandthe“proofisinthepuddin.”

Forexample,thefactthattheword“LEVIATHAN”isusedonetimeintheBible(Ps.104:26)as a reference to a WHALE could by no means justify the weird conclusion that theLeviathanofJob,chapter41isa“large,unknownanimal”or“unknownseamonster”or

“crocodile”or“hippopotamus.”Afterall,awhale(seeMobyDick)isatypeofSATANintheScriptures (seeEzek. 29:3–4 and 32:2), and anyEnglish speakingAmerican on thefaceofthisearthwithajuniorhighschooleducationcouldfindthatoutifheopenedanAVandreadit.

ThephenomenonwhichwehavenowdemonstratedTWICEcanonlybeexplainedinone way, for no one could say seriously that these apostates were so stupid that theycouldn’treadtheirownlanguageintheirnativetongue,sinceitisapparentthatanyoneofthemhadatleastsixyearsofHebrewandGreekbehindthemandatleasttwelveyearsofEnglish on an undergraduate level. TheonlyRATIONALexplanationforsuchblindstupidity,suchblunderinginfidelity,suchcraftyequivocation, suchBible-rejectingapostasyby“militantFundamentalists” isthattheyhavepersonallyandindividuallybeenconditionedbytheworldlyphilosophyofTV, radio, newspapers and magazines to instinctively protect themselves from anydiscussion(orassociationwith)ofanyversesintheBibleoranyverseintheBiblethatmightjeopardizetheirINCOMESortheirscholarly“IMAGES.”

These apostates have been converted by the newsmedia into humanistic relativistswithout abandoning their professions in the “fundamentals of the faith.” They havebecome utilitarian Pragmatists while still holding to “historic positions.” In a nutshell,theyhaveAPOSTATIZEDand“turnedtheirearsawayfromthetruthandturnedthemintofables.” And that is why the Scofield notes (in either edition) confine “apostasy” tounsaved Liberals (see 2 Tim. 4:1–6). The Conservative scholars who wrote theircommentsby2Timothy,chapter4didittoprotectthemselvesfromdetection,astheyhadalreadymadeuptheirmindswhentheywroteoutthenotesthat“satyrs,”“dragons,”and“Leviathan” do not exist and have never existed. To them, Leviathan could not be a“dragon,”for to themtherearenodragons,EVENTHOUGHTHESCRIPTURESSAYTHATTHEREARE.

To these belly-worshipping worldlings who pass off as “giants of the faith,” suchpassageshavetoremainasan“UnknownBible”andforthem“themistofouterdarkness”(atleastinregardstounderstandingthetruthsofsuchScriptures)isreserved.Theyqualifyas“blindleadersoftheblind”andtheyoungChristianmenandwomenwhoaregullibleenoughtofollowthem(sotheywon’tbemadefunofasa“Ruckmanite”)willcertainlyfallintothesameditchwiththem.

The Scriptures we are studying are the terror of apostate Fundamentalists andConservativesinthetwentiethcenturybecauseiftheyarebroughtupanddiscussedtheywillrevealtwothingsimmediately:firstofall,thatthepeoplewhomaketheloudestnoiseat“CongressesofFundamentalism”aboutthe“AuthorityoftheScriptures”donotbelievethatanyBookon thisearth is the“Scriptures”; andsecondly, theywillnot tolerate theopendiscussionofanystatement fromanyBible thatcould jeopardize their incomesortheir “images”bybringing ridiculedownon theirheads forbelieving theBibleas theyhave it.We just gave threeoutstanding samples: satyrs, dragons, andLeviathan; and asyou saw from the documented evidence, there wasn’t one seminary educated“Fundamentalist” in America and there wasn’t onemember of one revision committee(Conservative or Evangelical) who believed anything about those words found in anyeditionof theAuthorizedVersion.Theattitude theyhad toward thesepassages (see thelast chapter)was total and complete infidelity, absolute unbelief as rank as anyLiberalMethodistbishoppromotingJesseJacksonorthePLO.

One of the great dictums of Biblical criticism set up by Bible-rejecting apostates(Griesbach,Lachmann,Hort,Kenyon,Tischendorf,etal.)of thenineteenthcenturywasthat“doctrinalpassagesare suspect.”Now in layman’s language this simplymeans that“any timeyoufindaverse in theBible that isagood,strong,plain,clear-cutstatementbackingup theDeityofChristor theTrinity,youcan“suspect” that theversehasbeenmanipulatedbyanoverzealous,Biblebelieverinordertoreinforceareadingwhich“inthe plenary, verbally inspired original autographs” was not emphatic enough. Cases inpointwouldbe1Timothy3:16inthe“Bibles”recommendedbyBJU(ASVandNASV)orActs 4:27, 31 in the “Bibles” recommended by Tennessee Temple and Liberty BaptistCollege(NIVandNKJV) and 1 John 5:7–8 in the “Bibles” recommended byWheaton,Moody,andFuller(NIV,ASV,RSV,NRSV,etc.).

Ineverycase,thephilosophicalspeculationhasbeenthatsomeonemusthavemeddledwiththesewordstoreinforcethetruth,whereasiftheyhadbeenleftalonetheywouldnothavereinforcedthetruth.

Of such high-minded nonsense we may say reverently (and with charity):APPLESAUCE. (The Army of 1938–1945 had a much more fitting word for it—acompoundword—butIamsurethatitcouldhardlybecalledreverent.”)

Wecomenow to threepassages in the“UnknownBible”which thebeliever shouldknowifonlyforthepurposeoflearningsomethingthathisteachersandprofessorscannotknow.(Ifthisseemsalittleharshorunkindoregotistical,letthereaderturntothechapterinthisworkthatdealswithDavid’sfamousprofessionoffaithinPs.119:99–100).Many

timesourreaders“jumpthegun”andassumethatourviciouslanguagecomesfromabadspiritorabadattitude.Theyarequitemistaken.Itcomesfromadesiretodrivehomethetruth.Amansaidtomeonetime,“IfItalkedlikeyoutalkandusedthelanguageyouusesomeonewouldprobably takeashotatme.”Myanswer to that is,“If I talkedlikeIdotalkanduse thevocabularyIdouseanddon’thave the right spirit that Ihaveabout it,Godwouldhavekilledmethirty-twoyearsago.”Godevidentlyknowssomethingaboutourministry thatmanyof the leadingChristian“celebrities” inAmericadon’tknow.Atleast it is certain that the professors and teachers at the major Christian colleges anduniversitiesdon’tknowabout it, for theycannotexplain thirty-fiveyearsofblessedandfruitfulministriesaccompaniedbyunlovingand“abusive”language.

HerebeforeusarethreeversesofScripturethatnevercomeupata“WorldCongressofFundamentalism.”Theyarenotpreached,asfarasIknow,fromanypulpitinAmerica.InsixschoolyearsatBobJonesUniversityIneverheardtheversesmentionedorreadandneversawthemonalistofScripturesgiventoanyonetostudy.TheseScripturesdealwiththeveryfirstfundamentalofthefaith:BELIEVINGWHATGODSAID.WhatGodsaidismoreimportantthantheVirginBirthortheDeityofChristortheBloodAtonement,since,afterall,allthreeofthosegreat“FundamentalsoftheFaith”werelearnedbybelievingtheWORDSfoundintheBOOK.

WewilldowelltocloselyexamineandcarefullyscrutinizeanypartoftheBiblethatisexpoundingontheimportanceofthewordsthatarerecordedinthatBook.AtBJUandotherAlexandrianoffshoots,thisiscalleda“hobbyhorse,”for,afterall,theirmaineffortsare built around promoting their own institutions, their own friends, and their own“images”; their ministries have been from the start primarily self-promotion, self-propagation, self-magnification, and self-preservation. No one with any spiritualdiscernment is fooled by such pious claptrap for half a minute. If it weren’t for THEBOOK(andwedon’tmean“theoriginalautographs”),BobJonesUniversitywouldhaveneverbeenbuilt.IfitwerenotforTHEBOOK(andwedon’tmeanthe“verbal,plenaryinspiredoriginals”),TennesseeTempleschoolswouldneverhavecomeintoexistence.IfitwerenotforTHATBOOK(andwedonotrefertothe“inerrantoriginals”),JerryFalwellwouldneverhavebuiltthefirstbuilding.Thatisthetruthofthematter,andyouknowitandIknowitandGodknowsit,andsodoeseverysavedpersononthefaceofthisearthwhethertheywill“ownuptoit”ornot.(Iftheywillnot“ownuptoit,”itisonlyproofthat they are afflictedwith the same plague ofworldlinesswhichwementioned in thepreviouschapter.)

Yousee,THEFEAROFRIDICULE (thatmightaffect incomeor image) is the real“guiding light,” the radar beam, the steampower, the jet thrust, the fuel pump, and thelocomotive thatdrives, leads,andguides theseapostateFundamentalists innearlyeverysingleoneoftheirteachingendeavors.Andevenwhentheyareprofessingtohaveagreat“burden for souls” or a missionary zeal or a love for “high academic standards” orconvictions about “secondary separation,” the whole superstructure is activated andmotivated and held together and sustained by one supreme “Fundamental” thatovershadows all others; one godless, worldly, hellish principle: DON’T LET ANYEDUCATEDPERSONMAKEFUNOFUSFOROURLACKOFSCHOLARSHIP.

ThatistherealmottoandthemesongofLaodiceanChristianhighereducation;anditisthehallmarkoftheapostasywithintheBodyofChrist.Itisapplicabletoninetypercentof the saved faculty members who are involved in higher education. Again we willillustratesothatmatterswillbeasclearastheGulfofMexicoonacloudlessdayinJune.

“FortheLordhathpouredoutuponyouthespiritofdeepsleep,andhathclosedyoureyes:theprophetsandyourrulers,theseershathhecovered.Andthevisionofallisbecomeuntoyouasthewordsofabookthatissealed,whichmendelivertoonethatislearned,saying,Readthis,Ipraythee:andhesaith,Icannot;foritissealed:Andthebookisdeliveredtohimthatisnotlearned,saying,Readthis,Ipraythee:andhesaith,Iamnotlearned”(Isa.29:10–12).

Now here is a “nugget” if you ever unearthed one, for it is aimed at the religiousleadersofthepeopletowhomweregiventhe“OraclesofGod”(Rom.3:2).Thesepeoplearelistedas“prophets,”“rulers,”and“seers,” theverypeopleinchargeofteachingandpreaching and judging the truth. All three groups are included in verse 11 (“And thevisionofALLisbecomeuntoyou…”).

NowwhatplaceintheScripturescouldbemoreimportantindealingwiththeBiblethanthisplacewhereweread,“AstheWORDSOFABOOK…whichmendelivertoonethatislearned…ANDTHEBOOKisdeliveredtohimthatisnotlearned…”Wouldn’tyouthinkthataBibleteachercouldfindsomethinginapassagelikethat?

Hereisa“Book”(youarereadingabookrightnow);hereisaBOOK(andtheBibleisaBOOK);hereisaBOOK(Isa.29:11),anditisnotoneof“manybooks”aboutwhichthere is “no end” to making (Eccl. 12:12). No, this Book is a Book that God hadsomethingtodowith,forHecontinueswith,“ForasmuchasthispeopledrawnearMEwiththeirmouth…andwiththeirlipsdohonourME…buthaveremovedtheirheartsfromME…andtheirfeartowardME…”

Wereadthatonacertaindaythedeafwill“heartheWORDSOFTHEBOOK”(Isa.29:18).CouldtherebeanydoubtinyourmindaboutwhatBookthisis?WearequotingfromIsaiah,which,asanyoneknows,isintheOldTestament.WhentheOldTestamentended, the Lord said: “A book of remembrance was written before him for them thatfearedtheLORD,andthoughtuponhisname”(Mal.3:16).

But,mymy,whatastrangeBOOK!!First of all, this Book is taken to an educated scholarwith a Ph.D. (or at least an

M.A.) and he is requested to “Read this I pray thee.” Here comes his answer: “ICANNOT,FORITISSEALED.”Buttheimplicationthatfollowswouldshowthateventhough itwas sealed (Isa. 29:11), the scholar could have opened it. This is perfectlyapparentwhenonereadsverses13and14.Thescholarlied.Hepretendedthathecouldn’topenthesealswhenhecould.Let’sputitovertheplatewaisthigh;helied,hewasaliar.

Hewasaneducatedliar(“onethatislearned”),forhecouldhaveeasilyopenedtheseals.WhentheBiblewasfinished,thelastthingthatChristtoldJohnwas“SEALNOTTHESAYINGS OF THE PROPHECYOF THIS BOOK” (Rev. 22:10). Christ broke thesealsonthelastBookwaybackinRevelation5–6.Observethatthe“sealing”ontheBookthat isdeliveredto thiseducatedliarwasonlyonitbyvirtueof thefact thathehimselfwasBLIND(Isa.29:10)andthattheLordHimselfwastheauthorofthisblindness.Whenthe liar said it was “sealed,” he meant that it was “figurative,” “highly symbolic,”“apocalyptic,” or (to put it in the language of a genuine apostate) that “the text wascorrupted,”“therewasascribalerror,”“anerrorinthetransmissionofthetext,”etc.

ThepassageisaperfectmatchmatetoEzekiel14:4–11wheretheauthorofdelusionistheLordagain(asHeisAGAINin2Thess.2:11).WehaverunsmackintoheartmotivesagainwheretheyareinvolvedwithtryingtounderstandthewordsofGod.Thisblowsoutthe stackall talk about “scholarship”and“qualified authorities,” forneither scholarshipnor ignorance has anything to dowith learning thewords ofGodorunderstanding thewordsofGod.Neithereducationnor lack of educationwill equip any sinner (saved orlost) to really understand the Book; and since this basic, fundamental, Biblical truth isdisbelievedbyevery seminaryanduniversityprofessor in theworld (savedor lost), thepassageswehavejustlookedatwillremainaspartofan“UnknownBible”thatisnevermentionedinanyclassroomonthisearth.

Theterribletruthisthat“allthewords”ofGod’smoutharein“righteousness”(Prov.8:8,ALLOFTHEM)becauseHismouthspeaksthetruth(Prov.8:7),andwhenHespeaksof “excellent things that are right things” (Prov. 8:6), these excellent, truthful and right

thingsare“ALLPLAINTOHIMTHATUNDERSTANDETH”(Prov.8:9).IftheyarenotplaintoYOUitisbecauseyoudonotunderstand,andifyoudonotunderstandthencertainly your problem (and the problem of the rascal who taught you) is a HEARTPROBLEM: it has nothing to do with Greek grammar, Hebrew sufformatives, oldermanuscripts, transmission of texts, reliable versions, conflated readings, “intrinsicprobabilities,”“dynamicequivalents,”archaeologicalfindings,cursives,oruncials.

Theproblemisaheartproblem,exactlyasitwasaheartproblemintheheartofeveryPh.D.,B.D.,D.D.,M.A.,Th.M.andL.L.D.ontherevisioncommitteesofeveryEnglish“Bible”publishedsince1880.

Theireducationmadethemjustasstupidasafourthgradedropout.Thegreat, fundamental,basic,Biblical truthwehaveherestates thatGodwillmake

the truth known andwillmakeHiswords known to someone (Prov. 22: 19) in writing(Prov.22:20) so theycanknow the“CERTAINTY”of thosewords (Prov. 22:21).Theycanbe“kept”withinaman(Prov.22:18).Theycanbe“fitted” tohis lips (Prov.22:18)andwithhis lipshecan“answer”with those“wordsof truth”(Prov.22:21)anyonewhosendstohimforcounselingorinformationaboutanythingthatGodhasrevealed.SimonPetersayssimply:

“Ifanymanspeak,lethimspeakastheoraclesofGod;ifanymanminister,lethimdoitasoftheabilitywhichGodgiveth:thatGodinallthingsmaybeglorifiedthroughJesusChrist,towhombepraiseanddominionforeverandever.Amen” (1Pet.4:11).

Andwhatshallwesaytothesethings?Well,allwecansayis that thedeadliestenemiesofBiblical truthinAmericainthe

Body of Christ since 1901—the men who have done more to destroy the faith ofAmericans in the words of God than all infidels, Modernists, Catholics, Communists,Atheists, andHumanists combined—have been the educatedConservative scholars andteachersWHOWERESOAFRAIDOFRIDICULETHATTHEYAPPROACHEDTHEWORDSOFGOD (note the plural: not the “Word”)WITH THE IDEA INMINDOFPRESERVINGTHEIROWNIMAGESANDINCOMES (see“MobyDickand theWhiteCrocodile”).

According to the public profession of thesemen in Isaiah, chapter 29, they cannotunderstandtheplainwordsoftruth—therightwordsofwisdomandknowledgethatareabsolutelycertain.TheysayoftheBible:“ICANNOTREADITFORITISSEALED.”

ItisonlySEALEDtopeoplelikethem.Iftheblindleadtheblind,etc.Letthemspeakfortheirownkindandtestifytotheirownignoranceandagnosticism.

LetthembearwitnessthattheLordhas“pouredoutuponthemthespiritofdeepsleep”

(seethetext).Godsaidthattheprophets,rulers,andseerswere“covered.”Theyhaveanunknown Bible they cannot understand. They cannot read it because for them it is“sealed.”Mayitnotbesealed(orremainan“UnknownBook”)tothoseofyouwhohavebettersenseandmorehumility.

TheGreatHereticalRuckmanite

Isnotmywordlikeasafire?saiththeLord;andlikeahammerthatbreakeththerockinpieces?(Jeremiah23:29)

For several pages now we have been reading Scriptural passages that point out aterrible truth in regards to our generation; and this is the truth that among the highesteducatedChristiansinAmericainthetwentiethcentury,muchoftheBibleisanunknownBook. The ignorance is not confined to unsaved Liberals or secular students in statecolleges.

Thetwoversesweareabout to lookatare literallythe“BlackDeath”for thesavedFundamentalistwhoholdsearneddegrees.AsilencecomparabletoYankeeStadiumat4A.M. descends upon Pacific Coast Bible College, Maranatha, GARBC, and DallasTheologicalSeminarywhenthesetwoversesareproduced.Theversesagaindealwiththefirst fundamental of the Christian faith. Since there isn’t one “fundamental” that a“Fundamentalist” can believe in (that is so), that came from any other source than theScriptures, belief in the Scriptures is the “King Kong” of the fundamentals. After all,nearly every systemof pagan religions on this earth has counterfeits of theTrinity, theVirginBirth, theResurrection, theNewBirth, etc. (see the vast amount of documentedevidenceinHislop’sTwoBabylons,1959).BobJonesSr.,(1883–1968)saidmanytimes:“Whatever the Bible says is so.” He always gave that as the first grounds forinterdenominationalcooperationamongChristians;whereChristiansdonotbelieve that(“whatevertheBiblesaysisSO”),THEREARENOGROUNDSFORCOOPERATIONNO MATTER WHO THINKS THERE ARE OR NO MATTER HOW MUCHEVIDENCE IS PRODUCED TO CONVINCE THE SUCKER THAT THERE IS.“Convincingthesuckers”is,today,inAmerica,afull-timeministry.

HerearethetwoversesexactlyasBobJonesSr.,readthemallofhislife.TheyreadthiswayinanyeditionoftheAVexactlyasJohnWesleyandGeorgeWhitefieldreadthemand exactly as Spurgeon and Finney read them.DwightL.Moody and J. FrankNorrisreadthemasyouseethemhere.

“AndtheScripture,foreseeingthatGodwouldjustifytheheathenthroughfaith,preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations beblessed”(Gal.3:8).

“FortheScripturesaithuntoPharaoh,EvenforthissamepurposehaveIraisedtheeup,thatImightshewmypowerinthee,andthatmynamemightbedeclaredthroughoutalltheearth”(Rom.9:17).

Ignoring the “verbally inspired original autograph” hobbyhorse that the hobbyhorseridersofFundamentalismridefrommorningtillnight,letusobservethatthesetwoversesdealwiththeveryfirstfundamental:whattheScripturessay.Butthesetwoversesarenotinnocent, harmless, little verses like “thus saith theLord” and the verses you often seequotedinbookstryingtoprove“theinerrancyoftheScriptures.”No,theseversescommitthe “unpardonable sin” in the eyes of Truman Dollar, A. V. Henderson, Rodney Bell,Farstad,JamesPrice,FredAfman,J.R.Faulkner,ZaneHodges,MyronCedarholm,E.S.English, and Walvoord. These verses give the credit for producing the WRITTENSCRIPTURES to the WRITTEN SCRIPTURES—NOT GOD!—when there were nowrittenScripturespresent!

Now how is it that a young man or young woman can go to four years ofundergraduateschoolatPensacolaChristianCollege,BaptistUniversityofAmerica,SantaRoseSchools,orLibertyUniversityandneverhavetheseversesexplainedtothem?

1.TheyareNewTestamentverses.2.TheywerewrittenaftertheresurrectionofJesusChrist.3.TheywerewrittentosavedGentilesintheBodyofChrist.4.TheywerewrittenbytheApostletotheGentiles.5. They were found in books that deal with the two first fundamentals of NewTestamentsalvation:JUSTIFICATIONBYFAITHandETERNALSECURITYBYFAITH.

How could any “good, godly, dedicated, reverent Biblicist” have overlooked theseverseswhilebeingpaidto“teachtheBible”?

Well, the“piginthepoke”isnothardtofind;inthefirstverse(Gal.3)wearetoldthat“THESCRIPTUREforeseeingthatGODwouldjustifytheheathen…”

Betterdoa“doubletake.”TheversepresentedtheScriptureasalivingperson.Now this is a “no no” in any schoolwhere the Ph.D.s andM.A.s are usurping the

authorityoftheScriptureswhileprofessingtobelieveinthembecausethey“use”them.Ifyouarea“Bible”teacherengagedinsettingupyourownopinionsandpreferencesasthefinalauthorityintheclassroominsteadoftheScriptures(while“using”theScripturestomakealiving),youwouldn’tcareforthisverse.Itsmacksof“BIBLIOLATRY,”ifweareto believe the backslidden apostates at Dallas Theological Seminary. Furthermore, theverse gets more violent as it proceeds, for it says, “THE SCRIPTURE…preachedbeforethegospeluntoAbraham.”

Nowwhat?Thistimetheword“SCRIPTURE”wasinsertedinsteadof“God.”TheyreplacedHim.Readtheverseagain.IfthefacultiesatSpringfield,Arlington,Cedarville,Watertown,Greenville,Chattanooga,andDallascan’tget it in400 readings,wouldyougetitintworeadings?

You see, anyone who knows anything about the history of manuscript evidence,textualcriticism,highercriticismorBiblicaltheologyknowsthattherearenoScriptures

aroundanywhereinGenesis,chapter12to“preachthegospel”toanyone.MosesdidnotwriteGenesis,chapter12tillwellover200yearsafterAbrahamwasDEAD.

Therewereno“Scriptures”topreachanythingtoAbraham.HowdoyousupposePaulgotso“screwedup”in“Bibliolatry”thathecouldmakea

blunder like the one hemade inGalatians 3:8? “Foreseeing” is the activity of a livingperson;apieceofpaperwithinkonitcannot“foresee”anything.Itmayforetellorpredictor forecastsomething,but itcertainlycannot“FORESEE.”That isanattributeofDeity(seethearticleon“DoYouKnowtheLord?”).

Nowdon’twehavea“finekettleoffish”(pickle,howdoyoudo,etc.)here?HereisaverseofScripture (not“God”)preachingsomething toAbrahamwhenAbrahamhadnopieceofpaper (papyrus,vellum,ostraka, leather,wood,orclay tablet)with inkon it topreachANYTHINGtohim(Observe:“TheSCRIPTUREforeseeingwhatGod….”).Whydidn’tPaultellusthetruthaboutit?ItwasGOD(notany“Scripture”) thatpreachedtoAbrahaminGenesis,chapters12,14,and24,andineveryotherplace.

citeswere not even said to Pharaohwhen theywere spoken. Thewords that Paul cites(“evenforthissamepurposehaveIraisedtheeup”)werenot“said”bytheScripturesatall: THEY WERE SPOKEN BY GOD TO MOSES (NOT PHARAOH) TO BEDELIVEREDTOPHARAOH,ORALLY.

AnyDVBSstudentknowsthatthequotationisfromExodus9:16andthatthecitationbeganwith“AndtheLORDsaiduntoMOSES”(Exod.19:13).

TheApostle to theGentiles(whotoldBiblebelievers tofollowHIMasapattern:1Cor. 4:16 and 1 Tim. 1:16) is having a little trouble in distinguishing the differencebetweenGODandthewrittenwordsoftheBible.

Yousay,“Well,heisquotingScripturesthatbythattimehadalreadybeenwritten.”Yes,buthedidn’t say just “THESCRIPTURESAITH…”andhedidn’t say“IT IS

WRITTEN IN THE SCRIPTURE…,” nor did he say: “The Scripture was fulfilledWHICHSAID….”Hesaid,“FORTHESCRIPTURESSAITHUNTOPHARAOH…IHAVERAISEDTHEEUP,THATIMIGHTSHEWMYPOWER…”

Yousee,theantecedentinRomans9:17for“I”and“My”(God)istheScripture,forthe Scripture is speaking in Romans 9:17 (“FOR THE SCRIPTURE SAITHUNTOPHARAOH…”).

Asaboywhowasaskedtogiveabookreportonabookaboutpolarbearssaidonetime in school: “This book tellsmemore about polar bears than I care to know.” PaulholdsthewrittenScripturesintoohighesteemforthefacultymembersatMaranatha,BobJones,andTennesseeTemple.Heinsertedtheword“Scripture”forGodtwiceintheNewTestamentepistles,knowingwhathewasdoingwhenhedidit.Paulisdrivinginthe“fastlane”andtheFundamentalistsinLaodiceacannotkeepupwithhim.

Say!What does YOUR pastor and teacher have to say about such terrible “culticheresy”?Doesn’tthepoorfoolcontractlockjawattheseplaces?Ithinkso.Heissohunguponhisfearthat“Bibliolatry”willcausesomeeducatedasstomakefunofhimthathewouldrathercuthis throat(andyours to!)withabutcherknife than to take theridiculethatisgoingtobeheapedonBiblebelieversinthenexttenyearsbytheSovietCatholicState-Church of America. The two verses are an “Unknown Bible” to 50,000 savedgraduates of Conservative universities, colleges, and seminaries; those verses put thewrittenwordsofGodontoohighaplanefortheconceitedASSES(andthatistheproperwordnomatterhowmuchTVyouhavebeenwatching)whodesiretoreplacethemwithlexicons,grammars,commentaries,versions,and“studyhelps.”

The“bottomline”isworse.You see, when Paul quoted these words from Exodus and Genesis (in these two

passages cited), he didn’t have ONE “VERBAL, PLENARY, INSPIRED ORIGINALAUTOGRAPH”OFEITHERBOOKWITHIN 500,000,000MILESOFHIM,NORTH,SOUTH,EAST,ORWEST.

PaulhasgivencredittotheScriptureswhichhewasreadingatTHATtimeasbeingpowerful enough tobeused insteadof theword“GOD” inRomans9:17andGalatians3:8.

Thereitis:chokeonit.WhenPaulusedtheword“Scripture”in2Timothy3:16—thegreat“prooftext”that

DonaldWaiteusesfromcoasttocoasttoprovethat“Ruckmanism”isaheresy!—itwasareference to Scriptures which Timothy had and read. (See 2 Tim. 3:15, which DonaldWaitehasfailedtoseeinthetwentyyearshehasbeen“defendingtheTextusReceptus.”Oldfoxesknowhowtocovertheirtracks.)

When the Ethiopian Eunuch had the “Scriptures” opened to him (Acts 8:35), hecertainlywasNOTreadingany“verbal,plenary,inspired,originalRosemary’sBaby.”TheideaofteachingthattheEthiopianeunuchhadIsaiah’s“originalautograph”inActs8:32!

Theveryidea!YoutalkaboutHERESY!Thegallofthesehalf-wittedfanaticssayingthattheword“SCRIPTURE”(2Tim.3:16)isonlyareferenceto“originalautographs”!Whythenerveofsomehalf-baked, fanaticalupstarts!Theeunuchwas reading theScriptures(Acts8:32)AND“ALLSCRIPTUREISGIVENBYINSPIRATIONOFGOD.”

It turns out that Paul’s “verbal, plenary, inspired originals” were nothing buttranslationsofcopiesoftheoriginalsofGenesisandExodus.Sincethereis“nosuchthingas an inspired translation” (to quote nearly EVERY PRESIDENT, FOUNDER, ANDFACULTY MEMBER OF EVERY MAJOR CHRISTIAN COLLEGE IN AMERICA,INCLUDING ALL FUNDAMENTALIST AND CONSERVATIVE SCHOOLS), Paul’scitations inGalatians 3:8 andRomans 9:17 in theNewTestamentcould not have beeninspiredeveninTHEIRoriginalform,fortheywereTRANSLATIONS.

Thereitisagain:chokeonitagain.ThestaffandfacultyatBJUalreadyhave:Godstrangledtheirkindwithitmorethan

370yearsago.

GettingtoKnowtheLord

Andyehavenothiswordabidinginyou:forwhomhehathsent,himyebelievenot.(John5:38)

IntheprecedingchapterwesawhowPaulwasguiltyof“Bibliolatry”intheeyesofallof thewriters forFaithMagazine (Bob JonesUniversityPress) and theFundamentalistJournal(Lynchburg,Virginia);andtothoseofuswhobelievetheBook,thiscrisisshouldamounttosomethingakintofourpineneedlesfallingoffofawhitepinesomewhereintheSt. Regis forest south of Bay Minette. The institutions who call Bible believers“Ruckmanites”wouldallagreethatPaulwasavicious“Bibliolater”onthegroundsofhiswritings (Gal. 3 andRom. 9), sowemay dispensewith the institutionswithout furtherdiscussion.

Nowwe come upon twomore remarkable verses aboutwhich our institutionalized“peers”areasquietasaturkeyfarmonThanksgivingafternoon.

In1Samuel3:1wefindthat“…ThewordoftheLordwaspreciousinthosedays,”andthenweproceedtoreadinthesamechapter(v.7),“NowSamueldidnotyetknowtheLord,neitherwasthewordoftheLordyetrevealeduntohim.”Thisdoesn’tendmatters.Wereadoncemoreinthesamechapter(v.21),“AndtheLordappearedagainin Shiloh: for the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of theLord.”

Notice that in all threecases theScriptures are talkingabout theLordappearing tosomeoneandspeakingsomething;here,in1Samuel,thewordswhichtheLordspeaksarespoken by a visible “Theophany.” (“Theword of the Lordwas precious in those days;therewasNOOPENVISION.”)Of thesewordswhich theLORDspoke toSamuelweread,“AndSamuel…didletNONEOFHISWORDSfalltotheground.”

When these verses are placed togetherwith other verses in 1Samuel, noonebut aGreekorHebrewteachercouldfailtoseetheimplications:thewordoftheLord(1Sam.15:23) is the equivalentof the“COMMANDMENTof theLord” (1 Sam. 15:24) andthis is called by Samuel“THEVOICE of theWORDS of theLord” (1 Sam. 15:1).Notice that when these verses are placed alongside each other, another Biblical truthappearswhich is as deadly to Laodicean scholarship (Custer, Neal, Panosian,Wisdom,Sumner, Dollar, Wuest, Zodhiates, Hort, Trench, Thayer, Berry, Metzger, Aland, andFarstad)as“MobyDickandtheWhiteCrocodile.”

WhatappearsastheBiblicaltruththatlinesupexactlywithHebrews4:12,wheretheantecedentof“HIMwithwhomwehavetodo”is“THEWORDOFGOD.”(“Allthingsarenakedandopen”tothe“WORDOFGOD,”whichisadiscernerofman’sthoughts.)

These accidental comparisons of the written words (the “WORDS,” according toSamuel)withGodHimself causes bleeding duodenal ulcers and angina pectoris amongthe facultymembersofmodernConservativeandEvangelical schoolswho fearridiculeworsethansin,sickness,ordeath.

Theverseslaybarethree“nakedtruths”beforeourfaces;andthesetruthsaredecreedbytheHolySpirit,theThirdPersonoftheGodhead,theveryauthorofthewords.

1.Therecanbea“famine in the land”where thewordsofGod become “precious”becausetheyareunavailable(Amos8:11).

2.WhenGodrevealsHimselftoaman,HerevealsHimselfbythe“word.”(WemaythankGodthatwhentheThessaloniansheardthewordofGodtheyreceivedit“notasthewordofmen”butasitwasintruth,“thewordofGod,”1Thess.2:13.)

3. Not only does God reveal Himself by His “word” (note the small “w,” not thecapital“W”fortheIncarnateChristinJohn1:1–2)butHisconversationsarecomposedofWORDS(1Sam.3:19);and,finally,noticethatwhereamandoesnot“knowthewordoftheLord,”hedoesn’tknowtheLORD(1Sam.3:7).KnowledgeoftheLordJesusChristis bound up inseparably with His “word” and His “words” (see Rom. 10:17 and John8:47).

AllissopatentlyclearthatnoonecouldmissitbutaHebreworGreekteacherwhoselifeministry isgetting rid of thewords ofGodwhile pretending he is called to restorethem.

TheHolySpirithaspickedupthenastyhabitthroughthecenturiesof“knockingthescrewsloose,”sotospeak,inthemindsofcollegeeducatedgraduateswhoearndegreesinpostgraduateseminaries.Aswehaveoftensaid,“TheLordhasamonkeywrenchthatwillfitanynut.”TheymesswiththeBooksotheLordmesseswiththeirminds(seechapters1–2). If you want to see the operation in progress, buy a copy ofCuster’s Last Stand(Pensacola Bible Institute Press, 1982) and observe what the head of the “BibleDepartment”atBobJonesUniversityhas tosayabout thepersonalityof theLordJesusChrist.Thispoor,misguidedfool(withearneddegrees)wasteachinghundredsofyoungmenandwomeneveryyearatBJUthattheLordJesusChristneverspokeanunkindwordtoanyoneandthatHewasneverharshorsarcasticinHisdealingswithmen.Tocomeoutwitha“Disneyworld” theology like that,BJUhad to rejectmore than500verses in theOld Testament andmore than fifty in theNewTestament. Nowweallunderstandthat“Godwasmanifestintheflesh.”Furthermore,wehavethediscoursesofourLordJesusChristrecordedinMatthew,Mark,Luke,andJohn,plustheactionsattendingHisministry.SurelythisisenoughtogiveusacompleteideaofHischaracterandpersonality.AtleastthatiswhatistaughtineverymajorChristiancollegeinAmerica.

But such a teachingnullifies someof themost valuable information in thewordofGod about the opinions and attitudes of our Saviourwhere they expressHis innermostpersonality.Apersonhasa“personality,”andtheDivinepersonalityisnoexception.Thispersonality(howeverdocumentedintheNewTestament)isabsolutelyincompletewithouttheOldTestamentpassageswheretheLordistalkingaboutHIMSELFinthefirstperson.

Jesus’ statements about Himself in the New Testament are largely confined to HisrelationtotheFather(seeMatt.11;John5–7,10,14,17).WhenHespeaksofHimself,Hedoes identify Himself as the “Good Shepherd,” the “Bread of Live,” the “Water ofLife,”the“Way,theTruth,andtheLife,”etc.,andHedoesinvitementocometoHiminordertohaveaccesstoGod(Matt.11:27).ButHerarelyevergivesoutwithapersonalopinionaboutHimself.ItistruethatHepreachesatHiscongregations(seeMatt.5–7)andagainstthem(Matt.23andJohn8);itisalsotruethatHespendsmuchtimeteachingthemmanythings(Matt.13,24;Mark13;Luke17,21;etc.),butwhatismissingwillbefoundinIsaiah,chapters40–48whereGodspeaksofHimselfinthefirstpersonsingular.HereGod’srealpersonalityshinesthrough:itisanti-Humanitarian,anti-Catholic,anti-Darwin,anti-News Media, anti-Science, and anti-sympathetic. In short, Isaiah, chapters 40–48

picturesuchaghastlyportraitofAlmightyGodthattheversesaresimplyerasedfromthemindandmemoryofeveryConservative,Evangelical,Charismatic,andFundamentalistinAmericawhoistryingtoestablishagood“image.”

“Towhom thenwill ye likenme, or shall I be equal? saith theHoly one” (Isa.40:25).

Theverseasksmankindaquestion.Whydoesn’tsomeeducatedevolutionistattempttoanswerit?Thequestionhasbeenpostedformorethan2,600years.

“Produceyourcause, saith theLord;bring forthyour strongreasons, saith theKingofJacob”(Isa.41:21).

Why are we constantly being told by philosophers, scientists, educators, andnewspaperjournaliststhatreligionandsciencearenotinthesamecategorysinceFAITHisunreasonable(notrational)whilescienceisreasonable?(SeeanysetofbookswrittenbyanyonewhofollowedDarwin,Huxley,Paley,Lyell,orHaeckel.)GodAlmightyopenlychallengedtheseeggheadsmorethan400yearsbeforePlatowasbornandHechallengedthemtodebatewithHiminregardstoREASONS.

“Let thembringthemforth,andshewuswhatshallhappen: let themshewtheformerthings,whattheybe,thatwemayconsiderthem,andknowthelatterendofthem;ordeclareusthingsfortocome.Shewthethingsthataretocomehereafter,that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may bedismayed,andbeholdittogether”(Isa.41:22–23).

Yousee,whenGodcalls forthallof theseAtheists,Agnostics,Fascists,Humanists,“Third Worlders,” popes, Communists, Catholics, Evolutionists, and Socialists (samecrew:differentnames) to produce their “causes” and “reasons,”HeHimself set up thecriteriaforjudgingthe“reasonableness”oftheirreasons.Hegetsnotakers.Heneverwill,forthecriteriawhichHesetupistheABILITYTOPREDICT.TheApostleJohnwastoldthat,“ThetestimonyofJesusistheSpiritofPROPHECY”(Rev.19:10).

NoticetheridiculeandsarcasmthatarepartofGod’s“personality.”

YouneverhaveheardthatpreachedonPTL.YouhaveneverheardthatbroughtupatanEcumenicalCouncil.Youhaveneverheardanypopediscussitandyouneverwill.That isGodAlmighty tellingmankind to “do right orwrong,” it doesn’tmake any

differencetoHim!Hecouldn’t“careless.”You see, there are things about God’s innermost personality that educated

Fundamentalistsknownothingaboutatall,anddon’tdaretoeventalkabout.Verse23issarcasmasviciousandvenomousasyoueversawitpublishedinanyanti-

Semitic literature published by Julius Streicher (1930–1940). You are not going to“dismay”theTrinitynomatterwhatyoudo;andifyoucan’tpredictthefuture(v.22),youarenot really “scientific,’’ forpinpointpredictions, given800years aheadof time,dealwithmathematical probabilities. Psychology, Sociology,Humanism, andPhilosophy arenot scientifically precise: Mathematics and Bible prediction ARE: THAT IS GOD’SFIELD.

For example, the chances of forty-eight prophecies on Jesus Christ’s First Comingbeing fulfilled (as all of themwere) is about oneout of ten to the147thpower.Weallknow that there are not thatmany electrons in the known universe. There are not thatmany electrons in three universes the size of ours. After performing this mathematicalimpossibilitywheretheoddsarebeyondtherealmofcomputersorany“probability,”theLordgivesmanamathematicalestimateofhisownworthinDIGITS.

“YEAREOFNOTHING,ANDYOURWORKOFNOUGHT.”Twozeros.Twoblanks.NowonderDavidsaid,“Whatisman,thatthouartmindful

ofhim?”(Psa.8:4).Thereisn’toneprofessorofgeology,biology,chemistry,orbotanyinastateuniversity

whoeverfacedthatverseanddealthonestlywithit.Asamatteroffact,suchversesarecompletely unknown to the editors of 500 daily newspapers, the UN, the CFR,400,000,000 Roman Catholics, both houses of Congress, the NAACP, the HRS, theCollege of Cardinals, the AmericanMedical Association, the IRS, the NEA and everyDistrictCourtJudgeinAmerica.

IgnoranceofIsaiah,chapters40–48isuniversal.

“ThussaithGodtheLord,hethatcreatedtheheavens,andstretchedthemout;hethatspreadforththeearth,andthatwhichcomethoutofit;hethatgivethbreathuntothepeopleuponit,andspirittothemthatwalktherein:”(Isa.42:5).

HereGod takescredit forcreating theheavens (without a “bigbang”); and thenHe

takes credit for creating the earth (and in theNewTestament theLord Jesus givesHisassent to this claim:Mark 13:19); and thenHe takes credit formaking everything thatgrowsoutof theground;and finallyHe takes credit toHimself forgiving life toeveryman on this planet (look at the verse). And just as quickly as any little flop-eared“religious writer” for the “religious news service” of the Gannet string sticks his littlemonkey nose into the press with: “Evolution adds flesh and bones to the account ofGenesiscreationism”(andsimilarcollegiategasbags),theLordsays:“IamtheLordandMYGLORYWILLINOTGIVETOANOTHER.”MotherNatureandDarwindon’tgetanycredits:theyflunkthecourse.

God’scriteriaforevaluatinghowsmartamanisandhowmuchheactuallyknows isprediction;predictability,according to thestatistical lawsofprobabilityas laiddownbymathematics (Isa. 41:21–23). No sooner does God take credit for everything that manattributed toblindaccidental force (see anybookwrittenbyanyevolutionist in the last200years)thanHethrowsPREDICTIONintothefaceoftheeducatedevolutionistsandhumanitarians who deny His boasting: “Behold, the former things are COME TOPASS,andNEWTHINGSdoIdeclare:before theyspringforthITELLYOUOFTHEM”(Isa.42:9).

Now how is it that all of the intelligentsia have failed to “pick up the gauntlet” inregards to these matters? Notice how this facet of God’s personality is rarely found in the New Testament.Christ is very careful andmild spoken inHis presentation ofHimself asDeity inmostcases;butthereisnoself-effacement;thereisnopioushumility;thereisnoattempttobe“humble.”Itcomesonlikeatidalwave.

“I,evenI,amtheLord;andBESIDEMEthereisnosaviour.ThereisnoGodelsebesideME…IamGod,andthereisnoneelse…IsthereaGodbesideME?Yea,thereisnoGod;IKNOWNOTANY!”(Isa.43:11,45:21–22,44:8).

My,my,my,whataway to talk!Butyouwillnotstop thepersonalityofGodfromrevealingitselfinHisownBook:

“IamtheLord,andthereisnoneelse,thereisnoGodbesideme:Igirdedthee,thoughthouhastnotknownme:”(Isa.45:5).

Hereisnothingasmildas“NomanknoweththeFather,etc.”or“NomancomethtotheFather…etc.”Herewefind:

“ForthussaiththeLordthatcreatedtheheavens;Godhimself that formedtheearthandmadeit;hehathestablishedit,hecreateditnotinvain,heformedittobeinhabited:IamtheLord;andthereisnoneelse”(Isa.45:18).

“Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hathdeclared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I theLord?andthereisnoGodelsebesideme;ajustGodandaSaviour;thereisnonebesideme.Lookuntome,andbeyesaved,alltheendsoftheearth:forIamGod,

andthereisnoneelse”(Isa.45:21–22).

“Remembertheformerthingsofold:forIamGod,andthereisnoneelse;IamGod,andthereisnonelikeme”(Isa.46:9).

Again the appeal (regarding His statements about Himself as absolute Truth andabsoluteHoliness:absoluteGOD)ismadetoPREDICTABILITY:

“AndIwillgivetheethetreasuresofdarkness,andhiddenrichesofsecretplaces,thatthoumayestknowthatI,theLord,whichcalltheebythyname,amtheGodofIsrael…IamtheLord,and there isnoneelse, there isnoGodbesideme: Igirdedthee, though thouhastnotknownme:That theymayknow from the risingof thesun,andfromthewest,thatthereisnonebesideme.IamtheLord,andthereisnoneelse”(Isa.45:3,5–6).

Why is there such a silence from Madalyn Murray O’Hair and the NationalAssociationfortheAdvancementofScience?WhereistheCivilLibertiesUnionandtheCatholic Anti-Defamation League? What happened to those 15,000 Humanists in theNationalEducationAssociationwhoweretryingtoshutdowneveryChristianschool inAmerica?Catgotyourtongue,children?

Nothingtopredict,ehkiddies?Kindastupidaren’tyou,kiddies?TheBible predicts 500 events that haven’t taken place yet, and it gives the names,

places,andlocalitiesforeightypercentofthem(seeIsa.40,45,65–66;Joel2;Zeph.3;Hosea3;Amos9;Matt.24;Luke17;Rev.13,19–22,etc.).

Theycan’tdoit.Neithercanyou.Neither could the Fabian Society, the Esalen Institute, the National Council of

Churches, the Vatican Hierarchy, the UN, the pope, the Communist party, BertrandRussell, the Eupsychian Network, SIECUS, William Glasser, Abraham Maslow,Mohammed, Gandhi, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Time, Life, andNewsweek, theSanFranciscoChronicle, theChicagoTribune,Orwell,Mother Shipton,EdgarCayce,Nostradamus,orJeanDixon.

Noone on this earth can tell you the details of the next 1000 years apart from thewrittenwordsoftheOnewhosaid,

“WHO HATH DECLARED THIS FROM ANCIENT TIME? WHO HATHTOLDITFROMTHATTIME?HAVENOTITHELORD?andthereisnoGodelsebesideME;ajustGodandaSaviour;thereisnonebesideME.LookuntoME,andbeyesaved,all theendsof theearth: forIAMGOD,and there isnoneelse” (Isa.45:21–22).

Whatisrevealedtoushere(withGodspeakinginthefirstpersonaboutHimself)isGod“bragging”aboutHisownPower,Authority,andKnowledge(justlikeanyscholarona revision committee!).Noone is speaking forHimor testifyingaboutHim. These arepersonal statementswhich theLordmadeaboutHimself.Theyconstitutean“UnknownBible”toover4,000,000,000people.

Theeducatedfoolswhoposeasleadersforthesemassesandwhoreadsuchversesarehelplesstorefutethemortoconfoundthem,forthetestoftheirowncredibilitycannotliein “Biblical criticism” or in “historical reconstruction of the myth” or in “the Theisticphilosophy of Deutero-Isaiah” or in trying to find “contradictions in the Bible.” Theircredibilitylayintheirbeingabletopredictover500itemsindetailbeforetheyshowedup;andthese500itemsmustbepredictedbymorethantwentydifferentindividualsbetween400–3000yearsbefore theyshowup.Furthermore, theymustbefulfilled“to the letter”whentheydoshowup.

TheBibledoesnothesitateto“stickitsneckout”inthesematters.Itboldlydeclares500detailsoffuturehistorythathadnottakenplaceyetin1900,andatleast490ofthesedetailsarestillinthefuture.Thechancesof500detailedpropheciesbeingfulfilledtothelettermore than 2,000years after they are predicted ismore than one out of ten to the800th power. Look at it this way, if some depraved idiot invented and built a mastercomputer that could think, figure, talk, analyze, expound, and store facts at the rate of

900,000,000,000persecond,hecouldn’tevenget in thesameleaguewith theBible, letalone in the same ball park. Some rinky-dink erector set computer that can only store900,000,000,000 facts a second could not win, place or show alongside a Bible, for itwould take such anAfro-construction (there is another term that ismorewidely used)morethan900,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, years to work out the information involved in 500prophecies that all come to pass. That is, it would take it more than900,000,000,000,000,000,000yearsworkingattherateof900,000,000,000aSECOND.

“Science?”Don’tmakeuslaugh.Wehavetheonlytextbookonreal“science”thathaseverbeenwritten.Gostickyourcomputerinyourleftear.

AnyonewhospendsagreatdealoftimereadingtheScriptureforthesimplepleasureofenjoyingitandbeinginterestedinwhatitsayswillsoonbestruckbythe“credibilitygap” he finds betweenwhat he is reading andwhat he has been taught by nearly anyteacherinthesecularorsacredworld.TheBibleisstillashocker.Sincemuchofitattacksthe sinsof educatedChristians, it is still an “UnknownBook”onmanyFundamentalistcollegecampuses.Someoftheseversesfallundertheheadingofexposingthefoolishnessofhighereducation(1Cor.1–2);somearedesignedtoexposethesinsofBiblerevisors(2Cor.2:17);somedirectlyattackthedecisionsoftheFederalCourtJudgesinAmerica(1Tim.6);somerundirectlycontrarytoallestablished“publicpolicy”asdeterminedbytheAmericannewsmedia(Eph.5andRom.1);someridiculeandmakefunofvariousfaithsandreligions(Matt.23and1Kings18);somerevealGodassarcasticandvindictive(Isa.40–48) as well as loving and merciful; some overthrow “historic Fundamentalistpositions” (Heb.4,6,10);andothers simplyattackanyone in sightwhoputs toomuchweightonscience,philosophy,psychiatryorhighereducation(1Cor.2;Col.2;1Tim.6).

These versesmake upwhatwe call the “UnknownBible.” They are “verboten” incolleges(secularorsacred),andwhenacommentatorhappenstolandononeoftheminwriting a commentary, he sluffs them off as quickly as possible and makes nocontemporaryapplicationtoanyoneinhisdayortime.TheversesareactuallyPOISONintheminds of educatedChristian teachers and professors, although they are just aspure(Prov.30:5) in themindofGodasanyverse in theBible (Luke4:4).Wecontinueherewithourstudyontheseversesthatcomposethe“UnknownBible.”

David,orwhoeveritis,professestobesmarterthanhisteachers.Amansays,“Well,thereferenceistoChrist.”Well,itisnotareferencetoChristhere:

“I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. Butthere is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth themunderstanding. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understandjudgment”(Job32:7–9).

A“Fundamentalistprofessor”says,“ButthewriterofPsalm119:99–100saysthathekeptGod’s precepts and we know that Christ did this, but David didn’t, therefore, itcouldn’thavebeenDavid.”Well,tellussomething,didn’tDavidwrite,“Letthewordsofmymouth,andtheMEDITATIONOFMYHEART,beacceptableinthysight…?”(Psa.19:14).Dooureyesdeceiveusordidhewrite,“Iwillsetnowickedthingbeforemineeyes”(Psa.101:3)?ThewriterofPsalm119hadtoprayforGodto“open”hiseyes(vs.18)afterhewent“ASTRAY” (vs.67),andheconfessed thathewas“AFRAIDofGod’sjudgments”(vs.120)becausehehadgone“astrayLIKEALOSTSHEEP”(vs.176).

OurFundamentalistprofessorisnotveryattentivetotheBook.Davidprofessestobesmarterthanthe“ancients”(Rosicrucians,the“HiddenWisdom

of Tibet,” the “Secret of theHimalayas,” etc.).What an egotistical profession of faith!Anyone writing for Faith Magazine (Bob Jones University) would have called him a“Ruckmanite”onsight.

Letusdigalittledeeper.

“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, itpleasedGodbythefoolishnessofpreachingtosavethemthatbelieve”(1Cor.1:21).

Lookatitagain;ithasn’tbeendiscussedinanyclassroomanywhere.Notevenwhere1Corinthiansisbeingtaught.Theversesaidthat themeanswhichtheworldadopted inorder togetaroundknowingGodwasWISDOM(Gen.3:1–6).WISDOMwas thealibiusedbymankindtodamnthemselves.Observe:

“Becausethat,whentheyknewGod,theyglorifiedhimnotasGod,neitherwerethankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart wasdarkened.Professingthemselvestobewise,theybecamefools”(Rom.1:21–22).

WhatdoesGodsaytothese“wise”men?

“ForthewisdomofthisworldisfoolishnesswithGod.Foritiswritten,Hetakeththewise in theirowncraftiness.Andagain,TheLordknoweth the thoughtsof thewise,thattheyarevain”(1Cor.3:19–20).

Whatshouldamandowhothinksthatheiswise?

“Letnomandeceivehimself. Ifanymanamongyouseemeth tobewise in thisworld,lethimbecomeafool,thathemaybewise”(1Cor.3:18).

Ifherefusestodothis,howcananyonespothimeverytimeforwhatheis?

“FortheythataresuchservenotourLordJesusChrist,buttheirownbelly;andbygoodwordsandfairspeechesdeceivetheheartsofthesimple”(Rom.16:18).

ThiswasthespeechthattheApostlePaulavoidedliketheplague,forheconfessed:

“AndI,brethren,whenIcametoyou,camenotwithexcellencyofspeechorofwisdom,declaringuntoyouthetestimonyofGod”(1Cor.2–1).

Naturally Paul’s enemiesmarked him out as a rudeman (see 2 Cor. 10:10, 11:16)whosespeechwas“CONTEMPTIBLE.”

Nowwherewillayoungministerobtaina“Biblecourse”thattakesupastudyandadiscussion of such passages? A man says, “They are nonessential and deal with ahobbyhorse.”Well,thatishowanytwo-faced,lyinghypocritewouldhandlethematerialifhewere interested inputtingyouunderbondage tohisEDUCATIONand in limitingyourknowledgeofhis ignorance.Thepassageswe are about to readdescribe themainteachingofbothTestamentsastheyarerelatedtolearningBiblicalTruth.

“Study to shew thyself approved untoGod, aworkman that needeth not to beashamed,rightlydividingthewordoftruth”(2Tim.2:15).

Doyouseetheverse?YouhadbetterstareatitawhilebecauseithasvanishedfromeverycopyofeveryEnglishversiontranslatedsince1800.Theso-called“NewKJV”hasaltered the verse exactly as every Liberal in the NCC altered it in the RSV of 1953.

“Hobbyhorse”isit?Thenwhydidthelastforty-fiveEnglishversionsoftheBibleprintedsince 1700 CHANGE THE VERSE? They didn’t consider our subject to be a“hobbyhorse.” They considered it to be a potent and viable THREAT to Christianscholarship.

“InthathourJesusrejoiced inspirit,andsaid,I thankthee,OFather,Lordofheaven and earth, that thouhast hid these things from thewise andprudent, andhastrevealedthemuntobabes:evenso,Father;forsoitseemedgoodinthysight”(Luke10:21).

If great truths are hidden from the “wise and prudent,” wouldn’t it be better to be“weanedfromthemilk,anddrawnfromthebreasts”(Isa.28:9)insteadof“sittingatthefeet of great giants of the faith” who “boldly stand for the historic fundamentals” andcontend with “unquestioned loyalty for the plenary, verbal, inspiration of the originalYankeeDoodles”?

When Hindson, Dobson, Afman, Custer, Neal, Price, Martin, Faulkner, Farstad,Metzger,Newman,MacRae,Panosian,Fink,Wisdom,andcompanyhitProverbs18:1–2,theybackedoff likeacoveyofquailbeforeadiamondback rattler.Theversessaid thatheartmotivedetermines a scholar’s researches into “wisdom” so that he can easily be“Everlearning,andneverabletocometotheknowledgeofthetruth”(2Tim.3:7).

Higher educationmay equip the learned toappear to bemore enlightened ormorespiritual or wiser, but it will solve nothing in regards to the understanding of spiritualthings(1Cor.2:13).Inmanycases—takeMauro,S.C.Jackson,Walvoord,Wuest,Driver,Robertson, Cedarholm, Wilson, Machen, et al.—it will prove to be a positiveHINDRANCE. Higher education, in the main, is a business like cosmetics, cars, sex,sports,drugs,newspapers,orTV.Paulgotallofhiseducationbeforehewassavedandhewenttonoschoolof“higherlearning”afterhewassaved.Peter,James,John,andAndrewnever fooledwithhighereducationbeforeorafter theirconversions; theywentdowninhistoryas“UNLEARNEDANDIGNORANTMEN”(Acts4).TheyknewtheLordJesusChristatleasttentimesbetterthananyheadofany“Bible”departmentofanyuniversityinEuropeorAmerica.

Nowwe are not going to “knock”Christian education, per se.Many a crude, rude,rough,andunletteredmanneedshelpinreading,writing,and“rithmetic.”Learningsomemannersandsocialgraceswouldalsohelpinregardsto“openingdoors”andin“gettingalongwiththebrethren,”butwhenitcomestoahigherscholarshipthatsitsinjudgmentonthe“UnknownBible”(seeabove),ayoungmanneedsthatlikeheneedsaholeinthehead.

TheAV(anyeditionwilldojustfine)isperfectlycapableofcriticizing,judging,andcorrecting theboardof editors of everyversionprinted since1800, including the faked“NKJV.” The man who meditates on the AVHoly Bible (Psa. 119:99) and keeps itsprecepts (Psa. 119:100)will certainly come to know a great dealmore aboutGod andBiblicaltruththanPhilipSchaff,FrankDelitzsch,J.GreshamMachen,SpirosZodhiates,Hort,Aland,Metzger,Kenyon,Trench,Thayer,oranyotherBible-rejectingapostatewhobelievesinthe“fundamentals.”

The“UnknownBible”hasspoken:

“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understanddoctrine? them thatareweaned from themilk, anddrawn from thebreasts.” (Isa.28:9).

AFloodofIgnorance

Wretched,miserable, saved sinners (Fundamentalists foremost) have been attackingthewords ofGod for about 100 years now and they have, quite naturally, passed theirignoranceonfromoneschooltoanotherviathefacultymembers.IfyoureadourarticleintheBibleBelievers’Bulletinon“TheGermansHadaWordForIt,”youhavetheheartofthematterexactly.Theseovergrownbabiesaremoreafraidofridiculethantheyareofsin,disease, death, or hell. They ape each other so that their own kind will think they areintelligent;thatisallthereistoit,andthatisallthereeverhasbeentoitsinceJohn7:48.WebroughtthisoutveryclearlyinthefamousfairystoryaboutTheKing’sNewClothes.HerewehavewhatIusedtocallwhenIwasaboya“Beaut”ora“Duzzey”—thelatterexpressionreferringtoaDusenbergcar,whichwasTHEGermanyluxurycaroftheearly1930s.

“Forthistheywillinglyareignorantof,thatbythewordofGodtheheavenswereofold,andtheearthstandingoutofthewaterandinthewater:Wherebytheworldthatthenwas,beingoverflowedwithwater,perished:”(2Pet.3:5–6).

Now,towhatdoesthisrefer?InviewofthefactthatallapostateFundamentalistshavetakenthetimeandtroubleto

change the last two verses in 2 Peter, chapter 1, one could hardly say that the SecondEpistleofSimonPeterisofnoconsequence.Afterall,whenthe“leadingscholars”(thosewho profess to believe in the “plenary, inerrant, verbally inspired,Cotton Patch dolls”)willtaketimeouttoalteraversesothatitwillprovetheirownprivateinterpretationsandtheories (2Pet. 1:20),we should certainly give theBook inwhich these changes occursomecarefulattention.Andsince2Peter,chapter2turnsouttobethegreatestchapterintheNewTestamentonfalseprophetsinthelastdays,wecanhardlyaffordtobreezeby2Peter,chapter3.

No.3.Aworldwasstandinginandoutofwater.No.4.Thatworldoverflowedwithwaterandperished.Nowwhocouldgetamessagesosimpleallmuddledup?Answer: every major fundamental Bible scholar and teacher in the United States,

withoutoneexception.IfyouweretoaskHenryMorriswhattheversesreferto,hewouldsayNoah’sflood:

Nowobserve; the“world”spokenof inverse6 (“earth” invs.5)was“standing inandoutofthewater”inthe“BEGINNING”(2Pet.3:4).Whenwasthe“beginning”?InthedaysofNoah?Ifthiswastheearththat“beingoverflowedwithwater,perished”(2Pet. 3:6), it was the earth that “THEN WAS.” But the earth that “then was” in the“beginning”wastheoneinGenesis1:1.

THEFLOODOF2PETER,CHAPTER3,TOOKPLACEINGENESIS1:2.Does the Scofield Board of Editors believe this? Of course not. Read the Scofield

notesineitheredition.Those editors knew that something happened to that earth of Genesis 1:1; and

Testament states that the earth ofGenesis l :1was drowned out by a flood ofwater inGenesis1:2.

If therewas theslightestdoubtabout it in themindsof thesenaivesimpletonswhobelieve in “plenary, verbally inspired, original autographs,” all doubt would have beenerased if they had readGenesis, chapter 1. For therewe are told that the “SPIRITOFGODMOVEDUPONTHEFACEOFTHEWATERS.”Whatwaters?

TheoriginalcreationofGenesis1:1wasdestroyedbyafloodofwaterinGenesis1:2.Nowyouareentitledtoyourownopinion;butopinionstothecontraryarenottobe

classified as “scholarly guesses” regarding theories. They come under the heading ofbabiescryinginthecribbecausetheyhavecontracteddiaperrash.

You see, the word “replenish” was taken out of the those passages by the NewScofieldBoardofEditorsandthe“OldTimeGospelHour”(Lynchburg,VA)becausetheynever found the truth in their own language clearly recorded in BOTH Testaments.“Hebrewscholarship”hadnothingtodowithit.

These changes were to confuse andmuddle the livingwords of the livingGod bypeoplewhothoughttheyweresmartenoughtocorrecttheGod-givenEnglishtextwiththe‘originalHebrew,”afterpubliclydemonstratingtoGodtheirFather(theyallprofessedtobesaved) that theycouldnotbe trusted in thesimplestmattersof theology in theirownlanguage.HavingdemonstratedtoGodtheHolySpiritandtotheBodyofChrist—intheirreadingof2Peter2:3—that theywere inept, incompetent,disqualifiedNOVICESwhenhandlingthewordsofGod,theytooktheword“REPLENISH”outofGenesis1:28soyouwouldnotknowthattherewassomeoneonthisearthinGenesis1:2whogotdrownedinaflood:anditcertainlywasn’tNoah’sgeneration!

to say that the pre-Adamic earthwas not populatedwith humanbeings likeAdam, buttheywere“SonsofGod”andwerecalled“gods” (Psa.82).That theywereherebeforeGenesis1:3–7issoapparentthatno“theories”couldpossiblyarise,fortheywerepresentinGenesis1:1oneternity’s“morning”topraiseGod(seeJob38:1–6).

SecondPeter3:3–6willever remainapartof thatgreat“UnknownBible”which ispurposelyhiddenandcoveredupbyapostateFundamentalistswhowishtopreservetheirownauthorityandintegrityattheexpenseoftheauthorityandintegrityoftheHolyBibleandtheGodwhowroteit.

Theywillkeepyou in thedarkas longas theycan tokeepcontroloveryou,and iftheycannotoccupyyourmindwithhotairabout“verbally,inspiredoriginals,”theywilloccupy itwith gas about “separation” or “Neo-Evangelicalism”: ofwhich neither issueamountstoahillofsandalong-sidedestroyingtheBiblethroughignorance.

TheInfighting

Many bulls have compassedme: strong bulls of Bashan have besetme round.Theygapeduponmewiththeirmouths,asaraveningandaroaringlion.”(Psalm22:12–13)

It is not startling at all to find native Greek-speaking Greeks who cannot find abowlingballinabathtubwhereitcomestoexpositinganyGreektextofMatthew,Acts,Hebrews,orJamesusingGreekmanuscriptsoftheNewTestament.Bythesametoken,itisnotintheleastshockingtofindmenlikeRobertDickWilson—whocouldreadtwenty-sixdifferentlanguages—unabletoexpoundthesimplesttruthstaughtinDVBStoyoungpeopleincountryBaptistchurches.A.T.Robertson’sknowledgeofGreekgrammarwashisundoing;itmadehiminnatelystupidwhendealingwithBiblicaltruth.Thisisusuallytherule,nottheexception.

Now here we have a verse in Isaiah 50:8 which could hardly be called a“nonessential.”(Or,toquotetheapostatesatBobJonesUniversity,“ahobbyhorse.”ThefacultyandstaffofBJUhavebeenridingthehobbyhorseof“plenary,verbalinspirationoforiginalautographs”forsolongtheywouldn’tknowahobbyhorsefromasawhorse.)ThepassagedealswiththesufferingsofJesusChristbeforetheCrucifixion.

“Heisnearthatjustifiethme;whowillcontendwithme?Letusstandtogether:whoismineadversary?Lethimcomeneartome”(Isa.50:8).

Therecanbenodoubtabouttheapplicationofourtextifamanreadsverses4and5inthecontext.Furthermore,thestatementthat“ThereforehaveIsetmyfacelikeaflint”wouldgiveawaythepassageifnothingelsedid.Again,themanwhoisgoingthroughthetroubleinverse6issaidtobethe“Lord’sservant”(Isa.50:10).Thereisnodoubtaboutthecontextatall.ChristgaveHisback“tothesmiters,”andHegaveHis“cheektothemthatpluckedoff thehair”andtothosethatspitonHisface(Isa.50:6).Theseversesarewell-known,butwhenascholargetstoverse8,heusuallydecidesthatit istimetotalkabout something else. The problem lies in these words, “WHO IS MINEADVERSARY?LETHIMCOMENEARUNTOME.”Astheversestands,theLordJesusChrist ischallengingsomebody tocome inclose toHim:Hewants thisperson toidentifyhimself (“Who ismineadversary?”). Inaddition to this,He iswanting to standsidebysidewiththatpersonattheJudgmentwherebothofthemcanbeseenandheardandcompared.IfHisadversaryattemptstocondemnHim,“theLordGODwillhelphim.”

Allofthisisperfectlyunderstandable,butwhenonejoinstheseversestothecontext(vss.5–6)awholenew“area”or“dimension”(twohackneyednewspapercliches)opensup, forwe are reading here that during the exactmoments that JesusChrist sat bound,surroundedbythePraetoriumguardsmenandservantsoftheRomansoldiers(John19:1–3

andMark15:15–20),Hewasdoingthechallenging,notthem.ChallengingWHO?Well,itcanbenoonebutthe“Prince”(John14:30,16:11).JesusChristischallengingSatantoa“one-on-oneconfrontation”(ahackneyednewsmediacliché).Heisnotmerely“steppingintothering,”butHeisintheringchallengingHisopponenttogetintotheringwithHim.HeisdoingthemostdangerousthingthatanyhumanbeingonthisearthcoulddoiftheBiblepictureofSatan(seeJob1–2)iscorrect.

Theproofof this thinggoingonwillbe found in theNewTestament.Wereadhere(Col.2:15)thatwhenJesusChristcompletedtheAtonementthathe“spoiledprincipalitiesandpowers.”TheseprincipalitiesandpowerswhicharereferredtoinColossians(andinEph.6)havenothingtodowithkings,presidents,mayors,governors,or“tetrarchs,”fortheirdwellingplacesarenotonthisearth:

“Anditshallcometopassinthatday,thattheLordshallpunishthehostofthehighonesthatareonhigh,andthekingsoftheearthupontheearth”(Isa.24:21).

ObservethatwhereninetypercentoftheBibleteachersteachthatthehighones“onhigh”aregovernors,kings,etc.,theHolyBibleclearlydelineatesbetweenthe“highonesthatareonHIGH”andthekingsthatare“UPONTHEEARTH”(Isa.24:21).

Now why is there such a silence about these passages? Where are all of theseFundamentalistswhobelievethattheBloodAtonementisoneofthefundamentalsofthefaith?Do theyget a little “leery”when theyapproachpassages thatdealwithSATAN?(Don’t answer that question! When Henderson, Dollar, Price, Farstad, Willmington,Hindson,andDobsongottoJob,chapter41—awholechapterdealingwithSatan—theyVACATED.)

WhatisinvolvedinIsaiah50:8isthis:

“AndheshewedmeJoshuathehighprieststandingbeforetheangeloftheLord,andSatan standingathis righthand to resisthim.And theLordsaid unto Satan,TheLordrebukethee,OSatan;eventheLordthathathchosenJerusalemrebukethee:isnotthisabrandpluckedoutofthefire?”(Zech.3:1–2).

In this contest youwill notice that the Lord refers Satan to the “Lord,” exactly asMichael the Archangel referred Satan to the Lord in Jude 9. The words are identical:“THELORDREBUKETHEE.”

ThesepassagesyieldoneofthegreatesttruthsaboutthepowerofSatanandthepowerofChristfoundanywhereineitherTestament,fortheyrevealthatuntiltheIncarnationofChrist,onememberoftheTrinitywouldreferSatantotheothermemberoftheTrinityforarebuke!AFTERtheIncarnation,whenJesushad“learned throughsufferingasaSon”(see Heb. 5:8), He doesn’t “refer” Satan to anyone; He says simple, “GET THEEBEHINDME,SATAN”(Luke4:8).

The Lord Jesus Christ not only defeats the Satanic principalities and powers (whoconstituterealspiritualentities),HetakesontheDevilpersonally,inviteshimtocomeincloseforhand-to-handcombat(Isa.50:6–8),andthentriumphsoverhiminitand“spoils”hishierarchy(Col.2:15).

These verses dealing with one of the major translations in the spirit world, andconnectedwiththemostimportanttransactionthatevertookplaceonthisearthinregardsto sinners, isnotdiscussedat any length, tomyknowledge, in anyBible schoolon theface of this earth; at least not before the time of this publication (1984). The passagesdescribethe“infighting”thattookplacebetweentheLordJesusandSatanWHENYOURSOULWASATSTAKE.

TheUngodlyCatholicMess

Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drinkofferingsofbloodwill Inotoffer,nor takeup theirnames intomy lips. (Psalm16:4)

The verses we now look at (and their companion verses) constitute part of an“UnknownBible”that isunknowntoeveryRomanCatholiconthefaceof thisearth.IfanyCatholichadaccidentallyreadtheverseshewouldhaveblottedthemoutofhismindandmemoryasquicklyaspossible, for theywouldhavedestroyed theveryheartofhis“religion.”

Nowanypriesttryingtogeta“Catholicconvert”willquoteJohn6:53–56buthewillstopshort(squealingthetires)beforehegetstoJohn6:57everytime,withoutfail.Inviewofthefact thatmorethan100,000Catholicpriestshavebeen“brakingsuddenly”at thisversesinceA.D.490,wemayhavearighttoaskourselves,“Whatisthereaboutverse57thatissodeadlytoRomanCatholic“apostolicorthodoxy”?Amanwhotakestimeouttoreadthese“unknownpassages”doesn’thavelongtoguess.

JesusChristhasjustbeentalkingaboutsomeone“livingoffofHim”by“eating”Hisflesh andblood.To explain thisHeuses a “similitude” (“AS the livingFather has sentme”).WheneverGodwantstoteachmankindsomething,Healwaysusesasimilitude.Hesays in the Old Testament that He has “used SIMILITUDES” by the “ministry of theprophets”(Hos.12:10).Aswehavesaidmanytimesbefore,thetwogreatestwordsintheBible forunderstanding theBibleare neitherGreeknorHebrew: they are the two littleEnglishwords“as”and“like.”InJohn,chapter6HewasexplainingwhatHemeantby“eatingHis fleshanddrinkingHisblood”soyouwouldnothave togo toanyCatholicpriesttofindoutwhatHemeant.ACatholicpriest’sprivateinterpretationofwhatChristmeantby“eatingfleshanddrinkingblood”isabsolutelyworthless,inviewofthefactthatChristalreadytoldus.

Jesussays,“Sohethateatethme,evenheshalllivebyme.”Nownoticethatthemanwho “eats” Jesus Christ (that is how the literal wording runs) must do it in the exactmannerthatChristdoesitinrelationtoHisFather(“AS…IlivebytheFather,SO…heshalllivebyme”).Thisimmediatelyshowshow“literal”the“fleshandblood”inverses54–56actuallymustbe,forthereisnoCatholicpriestorbishoponthefaceofthisearthwho is radical enough to teach that JesusChrist was literally eatingHis own Father’s

fleshandblood. If it came toa rationalargumentaboutwhetherornotverses53–56 inJohn,chapter6wereliteralorspiritual,JesusChristsettledallmattersofdoubtright inthecontextwhenHedefinedwhatHEMEANTwhenHeSAIDwhatHemeant.ButsincetherewerepeopleinthosedayswhowerejustasblindaboutthesemattersasanyRomanCatholicistoday(seeJohn6:60),Jesusgoesonestepfurtherandclearsupalldoubtastoanyliteral“fleshandblood,”forHesays(inthesecondverseofour“UnknownBible”)that“ITISTHESPIRITthatquickeneth, theFLESHprofitethnothing: thewordsthatIspeakuntoyou,THEYARESPIRIT,THEYARELIFE.”

And this iswhy these twoBibleversesareeliminated fromallCatholicmissals,allCatholic catechism, allCatholicmagazines, all Catholic TV programs, and allCatholic“convertcourses.”John6:57andJohn6:63(inthecontextof“eatinganddrinkingChrist’sflesh and blood”) define and interpret Scripture with Scripture what Jesus meant.completelyandindependentlyandcompletelycontrarytoanyprivateinterpretationsetupbyRomanCatholicpriests,nuns,bishops, cardinals,popes, archbishops,ormonks.Theprivateinterpretation(see2Pet.1:20)ofthesecharlatans,placedontheversesinordertoaccommodate themtoapagancannibalsacrifice, isbasedupon therejectionofChrist’sownwordsinthepassage:thewrittenwordsinthepassagewerespokenbytheOnewhomCatholics claim founded their church!Thewords in John, chapter 6 explainwhat theymean. That is, they give theHoly Spirit’s own interpretation of the passage; any otherinterpretationis“privateinterpretation”(2Peter1:20).

Paulneatlywindsupthesemattersintoonepackageinthefollowingpassage:

“The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood ofChrist?Thebreadwhichwebreak, is itnotthecommunionofthebodyofChrist?Forwebeingmanyareonebread,andonebody:forweareallpartakersofthatonebread”(1Cor.10:16–17).

Here we find the “body and blood” of Christ showing up again, but this time thedefinitionisabsoluteinverse17sothatnocannibalwouldthinkthattheLordisspeakingoftheliteralfleshandbloodofanyman.Afterspeakingofthe“bloodofChrist”andthe“bodyofChrist,”Paulsays,“FORWEBEINGMANYAREONEBREADANDONEBODY.”Inthissalientpassage,theHolySpiritdefinesthe“bodyofChrist”asabodyofbelievers who make up a SPIRITUAL BODY: for, after all, the “Flesh PROFITETHNOTHING”sinceitisthe“SPIRITthatquickeneth.”

Thisdrawsthestraightedgebetweentheritual“sacrament”ofapagancannibal(PopeJohnPaulII)andtheBiblicalmemorialofalocalchurchordinance.The“BodyofChrist”inthisageisabodyofBELIEVERSwhoare“oneinJesusChrist”(see1Cor.12)andHeis in them (Col. 1:27). Christ lives off of His Father (John 6:57) by a SPIRITUALsubsistence,forHesaidthat“GodisaSPIRIT”(John4:24).Christ’smannerof“livingoffof His Father” is, therefore, the manner in which we are to “live” off of His Son by“feeding”onHis “Body.”Christ’sBody in this agecannotbe flesh, for“THEFLESH

TheCausesofCorruptionIntheBodyofChrist

FortheythataresuchservenotourLordJesusChrist,buttheirownbelly;andbygoodwordsandfairspeechesdeceivetheheartsofthesimple.(Romans16:18)

Dean Burgon once wrote a masterpiece called The Causes of Corruption in theTraditional Text, 1896. He classified them as intentional corruptions and unintentionalerrorsthelatterbeing“slipsofthepenoreye,”etc.The“Scholar’sUnion”hasalonglistoftradesmen’sterms(seeMonarchoftheBooks,1980)forthesetypesoferrors,butsincenoneofthemamounttoanythingweshalldispensewiththem.However,nomorefittingconclusion to a book could be written than one that deals with the causes of BiblicalcorruptionthatmaketheBiblean“unknownbook”amongLaodiceanFundamentalists.

Rodney Bell (Virginia Beach) was credited in 1983 with having invented the term“Pseudo-Fundamentalist.” In retaliation, Jack Van Impe coined the expression “Neo-Fundamentalist.”Naturallyneithertermhadanybearingonanything.Bellwastryingtorun interference for Bob Jones University, who always damned anyone who criticizedthem (no matterwhat he professed), and Jack Van Impe was trying to nullify BJU’soppositiontohisTVprogramforwhichheneededagreatdealoffinancialsupport.AllofthisisquitesimilartoLindsell’spuerileandsterilebookcalledTheBattlefortheBible(1982),whichwasasirrelevanttoeither(thebattleortheBible)asareportonprojectedhoehandleproduction inSouthDakota.Allof these littleshamplaypenstrawdummiesare the work of the ‘’campfire girls” and “brownies” (seeProblem Texts, 1982), uponwhichwehavecommentedatlength;theydon’ttouchanyrealproblems.

TherealprobleminthiscenturyisapostasywithintheBodyofChrist,andthecausesof this apostasy are due to some things far more basic and scriptural than any“disagreement between goodmen” or “preferences for different texts” or “whether weshould be separated or doubly separated” or “failure to speak the truth in love to thebrethren,”etc.No, thecausesofapostasy inANYcenturyhavenothingtodowithlittlecollegiateissuesabout“separation”andlittletheologicalissuesabout“thefundamentals.”TheattemptsbyHindsonandDobsonandWillmington(andthosewhosatunderthemandthose who taught them, and those who believed them) to get you to think that“Fundamentalism”isthebigissueisjust“moreofthesame.”Wehavedemonstratedonatleast three occasions (see “Moby Dick and the White Crocodile,” “The MilitantFundamentalistWhoWenttoHell,”and“TheHereticalRuckmanite”)thatthesetypesofmen (and themenwho taught themplus theirstudents) arenot really equipped to evendiscusssuchmattersastherootsandsourcesofapostasyamongBiblebelieversinANYgeneration;theyarewellalongthewaythemselves.Menwhoprofesstobelievewhattheydo not really believe (in regards to final and absolute authority) are not to be takenseriously by anyone with an ounce of common sense. After all, if a man has no finalauthorityhigherthanhisownopinionor“preference,”heisnothingbutanANARCHIST,

nomatterwhatelseheprofessestobelievein.HowfarwouldyoutrustanyANARCHIST?We now examine several verseswhich appear to be unrelated, butwhen they have

been assembled into a unit itwill bemore than apparent that they stick “closer than abrother.”

“Fortheloveofmoneyistherootofallevil:whichwhilesomecovetedafter,theyhave erred from the faith, andpierced themselves throughwithmany sorrows” (1Tim.6:10).

ThemostinterestingthingaboutthisverseisthefactthatithasbeenalteredineveryEnglish translation published by every “good, godly, etc.,” since 1800. The verse,however,willbefoundaswehavequotedithereineveryeditionofeverypublicationofanyAuthorizedVersionsince1611.There isevidentlya“sting”somewhere in theversethatmodern translatorscannot tolerate.Therehas remained in theverse for370yearsa“barb”thatmodern“good,godly,etc.,”findirritating.Theyallseemtohavebeennotonlyirritatedbut“cuttothequick”bytheverse.

Thenextstingerreadsasfollows:

“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth,supposingthatgainisgodliness:fromsuchwithdrawthyself”(1Tim.6:5).

Againwemust face a terrible reality; every Fundamentalistworking for TennesseeTemple,BobJones,LibertyUniversity,GARBC,andPacificCoastBibleCollege,alongwith every Evangelical connectedwithMoody,Wheaton, Fuller,Dallas, orDenver hasapprovedofalteringtheversetobringitintolinewiththeNCCwhopublishedtheRSVof1952.Thestingofastingraymustbein1Timothy6:5, ifweare to judgeby the last forty-five“updated”Englishversions thathavebombedout.Theverse“drewblood”formorethanseventyyearsandthe“militantstand”of thesenew“doublyseparated,uncompromisinghypocrites”didnotseemtobeabletoprotectthemfromthestroke:theybled.Theybledlikeastuckhog.Allthe“good,godly,etc.,”atBobJonesandLynchburg(plusanyothersfromanywhere)bandagetheirwoundsandthenaltertheversetotakethestingoutofit;theydonotwishforittowoundtheircompatriotsinthecominggenerationthewayitwoundedthem.

His profession of faith and his standards of separation never enter as adeterminingfactoronetime.Heis ledbyafarmorebasicandpowerfulspiritandheismotivated by a far baser and more powerful motive than such rinky-dinky things as“doubleseparation,”“militantFundamentalism,”“Neo-andPseudo-Fundamentalists”andotherkindergardensubjects.HerewearefacingfirefromanXambush.

Nowgobackandreadthefiveversesagain.Noticewheretheyareaimed.Followingthat great fundamental of all fundamentals, “AHITDOGALWAYSHOLLERS” (SamJones,circa1880),letusseeifwecanfindinwhichdirectionthesesmoothstonesfromDavid’sslingaretraveling;hehadFIVEtosling.

1.SecondCorinthians2:17saysthatmanypeopleareengagedincorruptingthewordofGod;not“peddlingit”ormaking“merchandise”ofit.

2. God is against these people because they “HOLD THE TRUTH INUNRIGHTEOUSNESS.” That is, they have it right in their hands, but they hold it in

unrighteousness.3.Youcanspotthembythefactthattheydesireto“changeTHETRUTHOFGOD

intoalie.”4.Theydothisforincomeastheylookatanincreaseinincome(usuallyaccompanied

Why, what Satan was interested in was questioning THE WORDS THAT GODSPOKE.

HasanyoneeverputaquestioninyourmindaboutthewordsthatGodspoke?Whocouldthisbeifheprofessedtobea“militantFundamentalist”?

Satan believes in all five basic “fundamentals”which JackVan Impe quoted in hisbook onHeart Disease in the Body of Christ (1984) and all five that Bob Jones Jr.,preachedoninhispamphletontheBJUcreed(1980).SatanalsobelievesinfivemorethatbothFundamentalistsforgot:theeternalsecurityofthebeliever,theautonomyofthelocalchurch, the immersionof theadultbeliever inwater, theseparationofchurchandstate,

andtheBiblicalimperativetopreachtheGospeltoeverycreatureonearth.SatanisaFundamentalist;andthereisnothing“pseudo”abouthim.Yousee,whensomeonetriedtoconvinceyouthattheissueofLaodiceanChristianity

was“Fundamentalism”(ofanybrand), theyhalfwaysucceededindestroyingyourbeliefin theBible.The issueneverwas“Fundamentalism.”Thatwasa termapplied to someInterdenominational groups between 1900 and 1940 to contrast them with religiousLiberals.(Sincethegovernmentwillgetcompletecontroloverbothgroupswithoutevenhalfaneffort,thereisn’tanypointin“goingintoalongthing.”Theissuewas,andis,andshallbeFINALAUTHORITY.Itneverwasanythingelseonetimeinchurchhistory.)

Sometime,fordiversion’ssake,callasideoneoftheseHebreworGreekscholarswhois always blabbing about “verbally inspired originals” and ask himwhy every EnglishtranslationonthemarketerasedtheNewTestamentreferenceto“many”beingengagedin“corrupting the word of God” (2 Cor. 2:17). If he insists that the many were just“peddling” or making “merchandise” out of it instead of corrupting it, it might beinterestingtohavehimshowyou,say,atleastFIVEscripturalcaseswherethiswasgoingonorhadevergoneon.“Many”surelymeansatleastfivedocumentedcases.

Suchathingdoesn’toccuronetimeoutsideofthereferencestothefalseprophetsinthelastdaysofJudahandIsrael,wherethepriestsandprophetshadalreadypervertedthewordsofGodandwere teachingacorruptwordofGod forhire. In everyoneof thesecases the charge was “YE HAVE PERVERTED THEWORDS OF THE LIVINGGOD”(Jer.23).Youcannot“peddle”thepurewordofGoduntilyouhavecorruptedit,for you cannotmakemerchandise of it as it stands:no onewill “buy it.” You have tocorrupt it (Jer. 23:16, 26, 32, 35;Ezek. 13:16–17; and 2Tim. 4:1–6, etc.). Makemerchandise? Why, God’s God-called preachers are called to make a livingpreachingthewordofGod:

“EvensohaththeLordordainedthattheywhichpreachthegospelshouldliveofthegospel”(1Cor.9:14).

“Ithathpleasedthemverily;andtheirdebtorstheyare.ForiftheGentileshavebeenmadepartakersoftheirspiritualthings,theirdutyisalsotoministeruntothemincarnalthings”(Rom.15:27).

Someonenotonlyhastheir“wirescrossed”(altering“corrupt”to“peddle”),buttheyareusingdentalflossinsteadofwire.

WhoarethepeoplereferredtointheASV,NKJV,RSV,NIV,NRSV,andNASV?Why,theyaregremlinsandleprechauns,didn’tyouknow?Theydon’texist.Theyneverexistedanywhereexceptintheimaginationofasinnerwhowasengaged

inCORRUPTINGTHEWORDSOFGODANDCHANGINGTHE TRUTHOFGODINTOALIETOGETGAIN(seeAV,anyedition,Rom.1:18,25;2Cor.2:17;and1Tim.6:5,10).

The only “peddling” would be by the peddlers of a corrupt Bible after it waspublished; theonly“makingmerchandise” involvedwouldbeusingacorruptBibleandrecommendingit toothers.TheHolySpirit,speakingthroughtheScriptures,comparingScripturewithScripture,tellsusthatwhensomeone“MAKESMERCHANDISE”ofthechildofGod(2Pet.2:3),theydoitwith“feignedwords”(notthewordofGod)andtheirmotiveisCOVETOUSNESS(2Pet.2:3).

Noone“peddled”therealWORDofGod: theygotridoftheWORDofGod (Rom.1:18,25).

Nowyoucouldn’tfindthetruthofthesemattersunlessyoubelievedtheEnglishAVtext, for the five verses we have discussed here are not found in any other Englishtranslation nomatterwho translated it, what they professed,what their reputationwas,whotaughtthem,whorecommendedthem,orwhopublishedorsoldtheircorruption.

Theonlyplacethat“peddling”couldenterwouldbeaplacelike:

“And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth thewise, andperverteth thewordsoftherighteous”(Exod.23:8).

ButobservehowallofthemodernapostateFundamentalistshavecoveredtheirtracksbymaking you think that somethingwas being “peddled” that wasGENUINE. To thecontrary,themotivebehindtheCORRUPTINGofthewordwastheincome(1Tim.6:10).Nothingpurewas sold; something purewas corruptedso it could sell. Do you see thedifference?

When Job speaksofhis ability to “discernperverse things” (Job6:30)he is talkingaboutthewordsthatmenuse(seeJob6:25–26).“Rightwordsareforcible”accordingtoJob (Job 6:25), so the old black-backed, 66-caliber AV from 1611 forces the modernFundamentalisttoalibi,gyrate,lie,misrepresent,backtrack,andrationalizetocoveruphissins.Thetroubleishearttrouble.The“many”who“CORRUPT”thewordofGodtoday(2Cor.2:17)havethesametroubletheirkinfolkhadinPaul’sday(1Tim.6:10).

Nowletustakeonelastlookatour“UnknownBible”andseehowthesemengotintotheconditiontheygotinto,wheretheyhadtocorruptthetruthinordertocoveruptheircarnalmotives.

“And if theprophetbedeceivedwhenhehath spokena thing, I theLordhavedeceivedthatprophet,andIwillstretchoutmyhanduponhim,andwilldestroyhimfromthemidstofmypeopleIsrael”(Ezek.14:9).

“AndforthiscauseGodshallsendthemstrongdelusion,thattheyshouldbelievealie:”(2Thess.2:11).

“ThenGodsentanevilspiritbetweenAbimelechandthemenofShechem;andthemenofShechemdealttreacherouslywithAbimelech:”(Judg.9:23).

“Nowtherefore,behold,theLordhathputalyingspiritinthemouthofallthesethyprophets,andtheLordhathspokenevilconcerningthee”(1Kings22:23).

TheversesareunknowntonearlyeverypsychiatristandcollegeprofessorinAmerica,andEurope,andtheywouldn’tbelieveONEoftheversesif theyreadit.TheversesareneverdiscussedinanyseriesofmeetingsbyanyrevisionboardsoccupiedintranslatingANYportionofanyversion.

7.“THELOVEOFMONEY ISTHEROOTOFALLEVIL” (the verse is notfoundinonesingleEnglishBibleintheworldprintedsince1800);soifthe“good,godly,dedicated, separated,etc.,”whobelieves in the“plenary,verbal inspirationof the,etc.,”lovesmoney,hecannotfindthetruthnomatterwhathiseducationalqualificationsare,nomatter what his IQ is, nomatter whatmaterial he has access to, nomatter howmanylanguages he hasmastered, nomatterwhat his profession of faith is, or nomatter how“godly”his“separated”lifeis.

Anidolatorisanidolator.Cases in point are 500,000 Conservative theologians, preachers, teachers, scholars,

linguists, translators, revisors, and exegetes from A.D. 200 to 1990. No Mormon,Jehovah’sWitness,SeventhDayAdventist,Buddhist,RomanCatholic,ChurchofChrist,orMohammedan could FINDTHETRUTH IFHE SEARCHEDFOR IT IFHEHADANYOTHERMOTIVEINMINDTHANFINDINGTHETRUTH.

The idols in the hearts of the educated Christians (who, incidentally, are alwaysdisturbedabout“Bibliolatry”or“scribalChristians”)arerevealedimmediatelywhentheyattemptto“clarify”1Timothy6:5,10,20,orto“updatethearchaicElizabethanEnglish”of 2 Corinthians 2:17 in the “language of today” so that poor, ignorant “laymen” can“betterunderstandthewordofGod,etc.”TheseidolatorsarepreventedbytheHolySpiritfromunderstandingthesimplestBiblicaltruthsintheBible.Forexample:

4.Thepresent root of “all evil” (note thePRESENTTENSE) is“THELOVEOFMONEY.” It is not pride, nor is it “peddling theword ofGod.” It is the“LOVEOFMONEY”whichcausesmentopervertandcorruptwhatGodSAID.

Paul, in theNewTestament( ITim.6), is talkingabout thepresentworldsystem inwhichhelived; this is theworldsystemthatwillbeherein the“LASTDAYS”(2Tim.3:1),ifwearetobelievewhathewroteintheEpistlestoTimothy.Heisnottalkingaboutthe theological source of sin before Genesis, chapter 1, nor is he expounding on theearthlymanifestationsof sin inGenesis, chapter3.He is talkingabout the“LOVEOFMONEY” which lies behind the Mafia, the CFR, the Federal Reserve Bank, theBilderbergers, theIlluminati, theHouseofRothschild, thedrugtraffic, theliquortraffic,the traffic in pornography, commercial advertising, fascism, communism, socialism,capitalism, thenewmedia,allstrikesanddemonstrations, theHRS, theNEA,RockandRollmusic,allTVprograms,allecumenicalovertures,theNAACP,theVaticanhierarchy,all newer English “translations” of the Bible, power, politics, divorce and separationproceedings,willsandinheritances,andninety-ninepercentofalleconomicandbusinesstransactionsanywhereintheworld.

So1Timothy6:10hasdisappearedoutofeveryEnglishBibleintheworldexceptone.Yougetoneguessastowhichonethat“one”is.

NowhowdoesGodfeelabout thesevilesinnerswhocorruptHiswords inorder tocover up their own sins that have to do with the love of money? You never saw itdiscussedinany“preface”that“godly”menwrotetotheirnewand“clearer”versions.

“Anditshallcometopass,thatastheLordrejoicedoveryoutodoyougood,andtomultiplyyou;sotheLordwillrejoiceoveryoutodestroyyou,andtobringyoutonought;andyeshallbepluckedfromoffthe landwhitherthougoesttopossess it”(Deut.28:63).

“Ialsowill laughatyourcalamity; Iwillmockwhenyour fearcometh:” (Prov.1:26).

“Hethatsittethintheheavensshalllaugh:theLordshallhavetheminderision”(Psa.2:4).

“SeenowthatI,evenI,amhe,andthere isnogodwithme:Ikill,andImakealive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out ofmy hand”(Deut.32:33).

Godwill rejoice todestroysinners; that’swhat thepassagesaid(Deut.28:63).THE“SINNERS”INTHATPASSAGEAREHISOWNCHOSENPEOPLE.

HowdoyousupposethatarealBiblebeliever(notsomefakirlikeTrumanDollarorBobJonesIII)wouldreacttosuchananti-humanitarianblastfromtheOnewhocreated

humanbeings?Wouldhenot“takeheed tohisways”and“lookwell tohisgoing”andmakesurethathe“trembledatthewordsoftheMostHigh”?(SeeIsa.66:2forthecorrectChristianresponse.)

Well,howdothesemodernFundamentalist“giantsofthefaith”reacttosuchwords?DotheyreactasgoodKingJosiahdidin2Chronicles34:27?Itrownot!

Themodern“giantofthefaith”(whoboldlyproclaimsfaithinthe“plenary,verballyinspired, inerrant, original autographs”) simply alters God’swords and perverts God’swordsandbringsthemintolinewithhisowndepravedidols.

1.TheysaythatGodwillNOTrevealHiswrath toamanwho“holdsthetruth inunrighteousness” (Rom. 1:18), but will only reveal it to an unsaved man who“suppresses”or“holdsdown”thetruth.

2.Theydeclare thatGodwillNOT revealHiswrath to a revisorwho“changes thetruthofGodintoaLIE”(Rom.1:25),butonlytoamanwhochangesthetruth“ABOUT”Godintoalie.

3.Theyclaimthatthe“loveofmoney”isNOT“therootofallevil”(1Tim.6:10),butonly“AROOTofallkindsofevil.”

4.TheybelievethatitisperfectlyallrightforanyChristiantomistakematerialgainfor“godliness”(1Tim.6:5)aslongashedoesn’ttryto“getgainbybeinggodly.”(ThewholethingremindsusofJer.23:17,doesn’tit?)

5.They avowand swear (publicly andopenly) before thepagangodsofLaodiceanChristianeducationthatitisperfectlyallrightforaChristianteachertodevotehislifetocorrupting the word of God (2 Cor. 2:17) as long as he doesn’t “peddle it” or “makemerchandise”outofit.

These poor, depraved “Fundamentalists” are not godly; they are not “separated.”THEYARECARNALANDWORLDLY.Theyarenotevenstudentsof theHolyBible(see Epilogue), let alone Bible “scholars.”Whatwe have here is nothing but arrogant,ignorant,two-facedequivocatorswhodesiretotearthewordsofGodoutofyourmouthanderasethewordsoftruthfromyourmemorybysidetrackingyouto“thefundamentalsof the faith.”Theymaynotbebornof“their father theDevil” (John8)as theirkinfolkwere(John8:40–44),but,toallpracticalpurposes,theseBible-perverting,Bible-warping,Bible-corruptingscampsareinleaguewiththeonewhosaidtoEve,“YEAHATHGODSAID?”

TothemthegreatfoundationtruthsoftheHolyScripturethatdealwithhonestyandintegrityarecompletelyunknown.TheseScriptureversesaretheonesthatdealwith:

(that deal with Biblical learning), these Conservative and Fundamentalist Hebrew and

Greekscholarsarecompletelyinthedark;theyconstitutewhatwouldproperlybecalled“THE FUNDAMENTALIST CONGRESS FOR THE PREVENTION OF LEARNINGTHEWORDOFGOD.”

Here isapartial listofwhat theentirebodyof“qualifiedauthorities” (EvangelicalsandConservativeforemost)missedwhentheyturnedoffthe50,000wattsearchlightoftheHolyBibleandlitthebirthdaycakecandleofHebrewandGreekscholarship.Thesearethe Bible revelations they missed when they all decided to “use” the Bible instead ofbelieving it.
