Accomplishments: 1. I obtained a 2 million dollar grant from MCFD that involved a partnership between the School of Social Work, MCFD, and health and social service organizations in northern BC. 2. I passed the written examination for qualification as a Registered Clinical Social Worker (RCSW) 2008. 3. I maintained a small private practice at Walmsley and Associates from 1995 to 2013. 4. I was a BC representative on the Steering Committee of the National Sector Study of Social Work.

5. In 2011 I was appointed to the National Commission of Accreditation for Schools of Social Work and reappointed to a second term in 2014.
6. I was promoted to full Professor effective July 1, 2012. 7. I received a $120,000.00 SSHRC Insight Grant April 2013. 8. The paper by Stokes and Schmidt (2011) was the editor’s select paper in the British Journal of Social Work
volume 41, issue 6. This journal is among the top 10 social work journals in terms of “Impact Factor”. (b) Research or equivalent grants (indicate under COMP whether grants were obtained competitively (C) or
