UNITING AID-TOWELS NEEDED If you have any surplus towels: used (in good condition) or new which you could donate to Uniting Aid please place them in the basket in the foyer.

WEST TIMOR FOUNDATION FUND. Uniting World, the Uniting Church overseas mission agency, is administering this Fund , which is already helping four students studying at the Christian University in Kupang, paying their University fees, student accommodation and living expenses. A fifth student has been approved. For those wishing to donate, there is a box in the Foyer. Please make cheques in favour of Nedlands Uniting Church, with a note: For West Timor.

PRAYERS AFTER THE 9.30AM SUNDAY SERVICE IN PRAYER CHAPEL The Prayer Chapel at the West end of the sanctuary is available for anyone wanting to pray or be prayed for. An Elder will be available in that area. PRAYER REQUESTS Prayer request slips are available in the foyer. Wednesday and Friday Prayer Groups will pray for these requests. SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER GROUP 6.30-7.30am A prayer group in Chinese is run in the Fellowship Room. Contact Sophie Li on 0403 729 212 for details. PRAYER TIME The sanctuary will be open for personal prayer time from 7.30-8.00pm on Wednesday evenings. This is a time of great blessing. NEDLANDS/CLAREMONT RAINBOW LUNCH The next lunch will be held on Thursday, October 3rd at Claremont Baptist Church (Stirling Highway opposite Hungry Jacks). THEOLOGY WITHOUT TEARS : As a result of previous dates and times excluding people, this course has been re-scheduled. UNITING AID

Our church supports Uniting Aid in Nollamara with donations of non-

perishable food which can be placed in the basket in the foyer. Uniting aid

also sells clean second-hand clothes and other house-hold items. These

items can be left in the Flower Room marked for Uniting Aid. Money raised

helps with Uniting Aid’s welfare programme for the needy in the City of Stirling.

KIDS CLUB Is on Tuesdays, 3.15-4.45pm. This club offers a fun and exciting program for PP to year 7. There are games, sports, music, videos, Bible stories and craft activities. Please see Kim Francis or Rick Pekan to find out more about the work of this great outreach ministry with kids. NEDLANDS UNITING COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP Wednesdays 10-12 and Fridays 9.30-11.30am.
