Ban Ki-moon is the current Secretary - General of the UN. There are 193 member countries in The UN. The UN headquarters is  located on an 18-acre site on

the East side of Manhattan.  The four major organs of the UN are: The General Assembly The Security Council The Economic and Social council The International Court of Justice Council

The overall mission of the united nations to ensure that the world run properly without major violence and provide freedom for every one.
