What is Artificial Grass?

Artificial grass or synthetic turf is used in manmade arenas forsporting events meant to be played on grass but without the needto deal with the mud, trimming or irrigation.

Add 3” – 4” crushed granite with finematerial (1/4 minus) or crushed stoneaggregate. Top off with 1" of stone dust.

Is important to note that any undulation onthe surface will be visible once the turf hasbeen installed.

It is also important to note that while thestone base will aid in the drainage properties of the system, a slightslope is recommended to ensure proper drainage.

Smooth out the aggregate using a screen or rake.

Compact the base using compactor or cement roller.
