O Lord have mercy on me, to God I commend my soul.After being blindfolded and kneeling at the block, she repeated several times: To Jesus Christ I commend my soul; Lord Jesu receive my soul.

Fun Facts about TudorTudor Times…Girls could marry at 12 and boys at 14, but they

had to live with their parents until they were 16.

Sugar was expensive, so only wealthy people had teeth that were black and rotting. To look like they could afford sugar, many people blackened their teeth!

Open sewers carried waste to streams nearby. Water came from village pumps that got water from streams…you can see why people were sick all the time!
