The Truth about Shi'ism (Part 1)

Introduction Shi'ism? Who are the Shias?

Shiisms fundamental basisthe cornerstone of its religionis its principle of reviling, abusingand rejecting the Sahabah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). he murderers of !adhrat"thmaan (Radiallahu #nhu) reali$ed that their politically and nafsaani inspired movement cannever be successful as long as the authority of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallams)Sahaabah is retained. hey had, therefore, no alternative other than raising the structure of Shiism on the basis of opinion which necessitated the denial of the authority of the %ompanionsof Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). hey thus propagated the doctrine of the rejection of the Sahaabah with brutal blasphemy, conspiracy, murder, fraud and fabrication of statementswhich they shamelessly attributed to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). heir religion is

based on the villification of those whom Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) loved so dearly

and whose authority is established, not on the basis of opinion and love, but on the basis of &ivine &irective. 'ithout the Sahaabah there can be no slam, no uraan, no Sunnah, noShariah, no maan. he &een of #llah aala came to us and to all and will continue to travel tothe end of time by means of *a+l (authoritative and authenic narration), the first lin in the chainof narration and transmission joining us with Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) being thenoble Sahaabah. -ut, Shiism has bro en that very first and bital lin with *abi e /areem. heythus have no Shari authority and no Shari proof for their beliefs of the nafs. he way they havesought to overcome this hurdle is by their doctrine of fabricating ahadith to substantiate their claims.

*ifaa+ or hypocrisy is a principle of the Shi Religion. hey technically term such hypocrisy as

ta+iyah which means the permissibility to conceal ones true beliefs for the sa e of anye0pedience. hus they attribute even such hypocrisy to !adhrat #li (Radiallahu #nhu). t is theShi belief that although !adhrat #li (Radiallahu #nhu) believed that !adhrat #bu -a r and!adhrat "mar (Radiallahu #nhuma) usurped the /hilafat and deliberately betrayed Rasulullah(sallallahu alayhi wasallam), he nevertheless pledged loyalty to these senior Sahaabah onaccount of some political e0pediency. his blatant baatil and blasphemy attributed to !adhrat #li(Radiallahu #nhu) e0hibits the croo edness of Shi mentality.

he Shiahs who have gone out of their way to belittle the Sahaabah and to drop them from the pedestal of authority which the Shariah assigns to them can never be the lovers of Rasulullah(sallallahu alayhi wasallam) nor can Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) have love for suchmiscreants of belief. #bout such hatred for his Sahaabah, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)said1 2 hose who hate the Sahaabah, hate them because (in reality) they hate me.2

t is a Shi contention that the great Sahaabah, especially !adhrat #bu -a er, "mar, "thmaan, etc. (Radiallahu #nhum) did not understand the teachings of *abi e /areem (sallallahu alayhiwasallam). hey further shamelessly and blasphemously assert that these illustrious /hulafa

2 he slamic and non slamic powers of the world will not admit our power till such time that weestablish our hold over 7a ah and 7adinah because these are the centers and citadels of slam.!ence our domination over these places in an essential re+uirement=when as a con+ueror willenter 7a ah and 7adinah, the first thing to be done at that time by me would be to dig out twoidols (#bu -a r and "mar) lying by the side of the >rophets grave.2

(#yatullah /homeini of ran, while addressing a message for a youth rally).

    /homeinism and slam, page ?

    -y #bu Rehan :aroo+i

his statement mirrors the attitude of hatred and contempt which /homeini and his Shiahssherish in particular for #meerul 7umineen Sayyidina #bu -a r and #meerul 7umineenSayyiduna "mat (Radiallahu #nhuma), and about all the Sahabah (Radiallahu #nhum) in

general. 'hile this is the vile and abominable attitude of /homeini towards the illustriousSahabah (Radiallahu #nhum) of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam), the uran e /areemstates the attitude of maan in the following words1

27uhammad is the Rasool of #llah, and those who are with him(i.e. the Sahabah) are strewnagainst the uffar and tender among themselves. @ou will see them (the Sahabah) in Ru u andSajadah searching for the grace of #llah and (!is) >leasure. heir sign is on their faces becauseof the impression of (abundance of) Sajdah=2 (Surah :ath).

7ost certainly, #llah was well pleased with the 7umineen (i.e. the Sahaba) when they too theoath of allegiance to you (5 7uhammadA) under the tree=(Surah :ath)

2#nd the early ones, the first one among the 7uhajireen and #nsar and those who follow them(the 7uhajireen and #nsar) in virtue, #llah is well pleased with them and they are well pleasedwith !im. #llah has prepared for them gardens beneath which flow riversB therein will theydwell forever. ndeed, that is the great victory.2 (Surah aubah)

his is what the uran says regarding the Sahabah, but the Shiah priests brand the 7uhajireenand #nsar as afir, murtad and munafi+A *authubillahA

#nd, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said about the Sahabah1 2:ear #llahA :ear #llahregarding my Sahabah. hus, whoever loves them, does so because of my loveB whoever hatesthem, does so because of my hatred.2

t is thus abundantly clear that /homeini cherishes a disli e, an aversion, a hatred for theSahabah because of his hatred for Rasulullah (sallallahu alahyi wasallam). he closer a Sahabiwas to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam,) the viler the abuse and the greater the enmity theShiahs demonstrate for him.

he noble sahabah (Radiallahu #nhum) are the foundation and the pivots of slam. he entire

basis and superstructure of slam have been magnificently raised on the teachings, e0planationsand e0positions of the Sahabah (Radiallahu #nhum). he uran 7ajeed itself has beenauthentically and authoritatively transmitted to the "mmah down the centuries in the form

presented by the illustrious Sahabah C by #bu -a r, "mbr and "thman (Radiallahu #nhum), the prime targets of Shi anc /homeini vituperation.

#n abundance of shii propaganda on the instructions of homeini is being churned out buy ran.Such propaganda conducted under hollow and hypocritical slogans such as

( here is no Shiism and no Sunnism), is designed to mislead the "mmah of slam intoacceptance of the Shi3 religion. gnorance of what shiism is, has constrained many 7uslims toincline towards /homeini and Shiism. -ut, it shall, nsha #llah, be shown that the vociferous2 slamic2 slogans trumpeted by /homeini and the Shi priests are mere outer and superficialfacades behind which lur the dar ness of ufr. n fact, the intensity of /homeinis and Shiah

ufr is worse than the ufr of the adianis and other baatil sects since the Shi religion is rearedon hatred for the Sahabah (Radiallahu #nhum). 'ithout such hatred, there is no Shiism. !atred

for the Sahabah, which is an overt and conspectus us facet of Shiism, is a doctrine of fundamental importance in the Shiah religion. t is inconceivable to be a Shiah withoutsubscribing to the doctrine of aversion for and vituperation of the noble Sahabah (Radiallahu#nhum) of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

o open the eyes of the Sunni bretheren of ours, who have been deceived by /homeinis propaganda machinery, we shall present here the views of the Shi religion C views andstatements e0tracted from the authoritative boo s of theology of the shi religion.

    SHI SIM $N! THE S$H$&$H

he most authentic boo of theology of Shiism is #l 6amiul /afi. n this boo in the section,/itabur Raudha, the following narration is attributed to the fifth shi, mam1

2#fter Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) all people became murtads (reneged from slam)e0cept three persons C 7i+dad -in #swad, #bu harr Dhifari and Salman :arsi Radiallahu#nhum wabara atuhum.2

n the Shi boo , /itabur Raudhah, the following narration is attributed to mam -a+ir whoallegedly made the statement in reply to his disciple who had sought the mams opinionregarding !adhrat #bu -a r and !adhrat "mar (Radiallahu #nhuma)

2'hat are you as ing me about them (#bu -a r and "mar); 'hoever among us (i.e. the #hle-ait or the progeny of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) departed from this world, departedin state of e0treme displeasure with them. he elders among us admonished the younger ones to

perpetuate it (i.e. this displeasure with #bu -a r and "mar), Eerily, the two of them haveunjustly usurped our right. -y #llahA hese two were the first to settle on our nec s (i.e. thenec s of the #hle -ait). herefore, may the lanat (curse) of #llah, the 7alai ah and of man ind

be on the two of them.2 (/itabur Raudhah, >age FFG)

n the same boo , on the same page appears the following1

2Eerily, these two elders (#bu -a r and "mar) departed from this world without having madetaubah for what they had perpetrated against #meerul 7umineen #layhis Salaam. n fact, they

did not even thin of us (of their wrongs against !a$rat #li). herefore, the lanat of #llah, the7alai ah and of man ind be on them.2

n the Shiah boo , Rijal /ashi, !adhrat #bu -a r and !adhrat "mar (Radiallahu #nhuma) aredenigrated in the following narration attributed to mam -a+ir1

2'hatever murder is committed in slamB whatever unlawful wealth is earned and whatever adultery is committed until the appearance of our mam 7ahdi C the sinof all this is on the nec sof the two (i.e. #bu -a r and "mar).2 (Rijal /ashi, page F9G)

n itabur Raudhah on pages FGHIFJK, the Shiahs attribute a narration to !adhrat Salman :arsi

(Radiallahu #nhu) in which it is claimed that on the occasion when the oath of allegiance wasgiven to !adhrat #bu -a r (Radiallahu #nhu), the first person to swear allagince to him was anold man who stepped forward crying1

2#ll praise to #llah who has not caused me to die yet, enabling me to see you on this pedestal.Stretch your hand.2 hus he (#bu -a r) stretched his hand and the old man too the oath of alleginace (at his hand).2

#ccording to the narration, when !adhrat #li (Radiallahu #nhu) heard this from !adhrat Salman(Radiallahu #nhu), he as ed1

2&o you now who he (the old man who too the oath of alleginace) is;2

when Salman (Radiallahu #nhu) replied in the negative, !adhrat #li (Radiallahu #nhu)allegedly said1

2 hat was blees, #llah has cursed him.2

hus, according to Shisim, the first being who accepted the following the /hilafat of !adhrat#bu -a r (Radiallahu #nhu) was blees who placed his hand in the hand of !adhrat #bu -a r (Radiallahu #nhu)

#t the end of this narration in /itabur Raudhah, the following words are attributed by the Shi priests to Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

2 hen, they (a group of the sa+eefah -ani Saidah) will come to the 7usjid (i.e. 7usjid e *abawi) and the first to swear allegiance to him (i.e. #bu -a r) on my 7imbar will be blees, the Lanat of #llah on him. blees will appear (on that occasion) in the form of an old man andsay so (i.e. what Salman :aarsi has allegedly said).2

7ullah -a+ir 7ajlisi is a renowned personality in Shiah circles. !e is regarded as a top ran ing7uhaddith. !e flourished in the FKth century of the !ijri era. he Shi clergy has accorded himthe title, /hatamul 7uhadditheen (the seal of the 7uhadditheen). !is wor s are regarded ashighly authoritative by the Shiah priest, in his boo s, writes the following statements whenever he writings. his Shi priest, in his boo s, writes the following statements whenever he

mentions the name of !adhrat "mar (Radiallahu #nhu)

2"mar -in /hattab C on him be lanat (curse) and athab (punishment).2

his, then is the Shi attitude towards the beloved Sahabah of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhiwasallam).

his 7ullah -a+ir 7ajlisi has mentioned in his boo , 4adul 7aad, numerous virtues ande0cellences of the Hth of Rabiul #wwal. #ccording to -a+ir 7ajlisi, the significance ande0cellence of Hth Rabiul #wwal are because 2"mar, the enemy of Rasulullah (sallallahu alahyiwasallam) and enemy of the #hle -ait2 will be illed on the Hth Rabiul #wwal. t is for thisreason that the Hth of Rabiul #wwal should be observed as a great occasion of happiness andfestivity according to Shiism. he relevant part of this fabricated narration attributed by theShiah to the famous Sahabi, !adhrat !u$aifah (Radiallahu #nhu) is as follows1

2!u$aifah -in @aman narrates1 5nce on the Hth of Rabiul #wwal wint to Rasulullah . saw#meerul 7umineen #li 7urta$a, mam !asan and mam !usain also there. #ll were busyeating. *eedless to say, this whole narration, from beginning to end, is a colossal fabrication of theShiah enemies of the #ahabah in general, and of the first three /hulafa (#bu -a r, "mar and"thman) in particular. Shi priests are notorious for the fabrication of narrations which theyimpute to such great men of slam, whom they describe as their 2 maams2 , when in actual fact, they (the so called maams of the Shiahs) were august personalities of the #hl e Sunnah wal6amat.

he salient features of batil stated in the aforementioned fabrication are1

he Shi priest 7uhammad -a+ir Sadr writes about the Sahabah in general and !adhrat "mar (Radiallahu #nhu) in particular1

2=we find that it is necessary to accept the e0istance of a large trend, from the very lifetime of the >rophet, who inclined towards proposing the use of ijihad and circumstantial considerations

in determining their interests, above strict adherence to the religious te0ts.2

2 his trend was represented by a daring group of important companions li e, "mar bin al/hattab, who disputed with the 7essenger and made judgements contradicting the te0t in manysubjects, believing that he had the right to do so.2

he type of Mijtihad which the Shiahs attribute to !adhrat "mar (Radiallahu #nhu), in particular, and to other Sahaabah, in general, is described in the following statement of -a+ir Sadr1

2=we mean by Mijtihad the ma ing of judgements in contradiction to the te0t or acceptance of such a judgment.2

2:rom the e0amples of #bu -a rs and "mars opposition to the uran, cited by us, it is clear that contradiciting the uran publicly and adopting actions in violation of the uran were notregarded as a serious matter by these two. he 7uslims of that time ( vi$. he Sahabah ) either

joined their (#bu -a rs and "mars) >arty in the +uest for political leadership which was their goal, or if they did not join their party because of not fully supporting them, they never said aword in opposition to those unjust, oppressors and powerful munafi+s (referring to !adhrats#bu -a r, and "mar). hey lac ed the courage for this=

#bu -a r who had plotted the whole conspiracy would have fabricated a hadith in contradictionto the uran just as he had done for depriving !adhrat :atimah of her share of inheritance in theestate of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). #nd "mar C it is entirely to be e0pected that hewould have said that either #llah !imself erred in revealing this ayat or 6ibraeel or Rasulullah(sallallahu alayhi wasallam) erred in its delivery. #t that time Sunnis would also have supportedhim and would have aided him in opposition to the command of #llah=just as is their attitude in

all these alterations which "mar effected in the &een of slam and its teachings. n all these( alterations of "mar ) the Sunnis accorded priority to the statements of "mar in opposition touranic ayat and statements of the Rasool of #llah and that is e0actly what they (Sunnis) are

    following.2

hese are the claims and allegations of /homeini who vociferously and deceityfully, raises theslogan1 2 here is no Sunnism and no Shiism.2 n the above e0tract from his boo , /ashful#srar, it is abundantly clear that /homeini is echoing the following Shi beliefs1

Q hat !adhrat #bu -a r, "mar and the entire body of the Sahabah were murtads and munafi+s.

Q hat !adhrat #bu -a r and "mar interpolated in the uran, changing and deleting to suit their whims and desires. hey fabricated and forged ahadith in conflict with the uran.

he logical conclusion emanating from these Shiah beliefs is that the uran which we have withus today is not authentic since it was the compilation of these very Sahabah who are regarded asmunafi+s by Shiism. -esides this fact stemming as the logical conclusion from Shiah beliefs, the highest boo ss of the Shiah religion categorically assert the falsity of the present uran.

nsha#llah, this claim will be described later.
