Autotrader:GOAL OF SLIDE: Show how a major customer is using our software to reinforce the drivers and approach on previous slide
Main Points to Highlight: Business transparency and controlThe results: Reduced cancellation of dealer contracts by 20% in year 1 with associated revenue reclaimed.Autotrader is mid-way through a strategy to become a process-centric organizationIn current climate, customer retention was major issues.dealers are the mainstay of the business project was called Proactive ServiceGoal was to create business rules that proactively identified and alerted (tasks assigned to reps) when (effectively event processing) dealers looked as though they might cancel their contractThey then developed mini processes for each scenario that guided the sales rep through a retention processEach process was monitored and managed in real-time using BAMBenefits have been significant
Key:Utilized a combined BPM and SOA approachBusiness users were the ones who used BPMS tools to build rules and customer retention processes (i.e. business empowerment was key)CAF was used to display all information relevant to the dealership to sales repBenefit was significantThis is first of many BPM/SOA projects
SasktelGOAL OF SLIDE: Show how a major customer is using our software to reinforce the drivers and approach on first slide
Main Points to Highlight: Operational efficiency through automation of manual processesSaskTel is undertaking the single largest business and technology transformation in its 100 years. New competition, downward pressure on margins and declining local-access and long-distance revenues required SaskTel to change its business infrastructure to reduce costs, improve agility and get new products to market faster.SaskTel brought together key business and technology leaders (alignment)New guiding principles were established: increase customer self-service, use internal applications more efficiently, achieve out-of-the-box functionality, and create and maintain a single view of the customer. A directive was set to operate as one across SaskTel business units and subsidiaries. The webMethods suite has become an integral to SaskTels total business transformation into a service-oriented architecture (SOA). The webMethods Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) helps SaskTel operate as a single entity across all business units and subsidiaries while the webMethods Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) becomes SaskTels integrated BPM platform.
