The  TRAIL  is  designed  for  superior  maneuverability,  robustness  and  durability. 

Experience its outstanding flying qualities with our Dealer and note the steel welded 

frame,  the  full  covering  in  light  alloy,  the  sturdy  landing  gear  and,  above  all,  the 

capability of folding the wing in less than two minutes completely by yourself. 

 

Enjoy  the  freedom TRAIL allows  in  the  sky and on  the ground: no  fabric or other 

stuff suffering from sun exposure and humidity. 

Fear for hail, sand dust or snow?: fold the wings and wrap the TRAIL with a simple 

covering just like a car. 

 

 

 

But TRAIL offers  its best  in  flight:  full  turning capability without adverse yaw,  safe 

stall behavior, ever responsive to the controls and never sluggish. 

 

 

 

 

 

   

You can choose two kit levels: 

Level 1: All materials, but engine and instrumentation, included, the welded frame is 

complete 

 

Level 2: As level 1 but with wings already assembled (it does still fit the 51% rule) 

 

Basic seats are  included  in both kit  levels;  finishing, stuffing and upholstery are at 

your taste. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TRAIL offers  you  the max  freedom  in  engine  choice  from  80Hp  to  100Hp:  all WV 

derived flat fours (Sauer, AeroVee, etc.) Jabiru, Rotax. Any of them it comes with its 

dedicated mounting truss and cowling. 

 

 

 

It  is  possible  to  complete  the  aircraft with  basic  finishing,  interiors  and  cockpit, 

ready  to  fly, within 560  lbs  (305 kg). Adding glossy  finishing, more upholstery and 

instrumentation, such as on our demonstrator, the empty weight is still at 595 lbs. 

The luggage compartment, located aft of the rear set, has a displacement of 45 gals 

and it is cleared for housing up to 50 lbs. 

 

The overall weight  in the cabin (luggage plus people) ranges between 440 and 470 

lbs according with the empty weight. 

Fuel tanks are  located  in the wings; their effective capacity  is 36 US gallons able to 

provide 9 hours of autonomy at best cruise speed (80 KCAS). 

Max Take Off Weight is 1300 lbs.
