Slide 2 The Three Little Crickets Written and illustrated by Julius Cotton 2012 Greenlee Elementary Denver, Colorado Slide 3 The Three Little Crickets By: Once upon a time, there were three big and buff ogres that were trying to eat three little crickets. Slide 4 Jack cricket was brilliant and liked to help the need and the earth. Slide 5 Joey the cricket was dumb. Joey the cricket had a house made of mud. Slide 6 James the cricket always thought about himself. Slide 7 Since the ogre was so hungry, he grabbed his wooden stick and swung it against joeys mud house Slide 8 Ah!!! said joey. Crunch, crunch, crunch. bye joey!!! Slide 9 Then, when he made it to James glass house he swung it against James glass house. Slide 10 . Shatter!! My glass house! [See I told you all he cares about is himself]. smack, smack, smack!!.... Later James!!! Slide 11 Finally, the ogre ran over to jack the brilliants house and swung it against the solid gold cabin. Slide 12 He ran home crying and jack the pig was so happy yes!! but sad because his brothers are now gone. But he lived happily ever after. The end Slide 13 The lesson these ogres learned was not to be a jerk to get food or anything you want, so its good to be kind and gentle. Do not be a jerk, and be a good person.
