PAC NEWS

What does PAC pay for? Swimming and gymnastics lessons, educational programs, art lessons, library books, classroom materials, garden supplies, and special events for all of our 290 students. How does PAC get money to pay for all these things? Some funding is granted to us from BC gaming. Some community groups and businesses donate goods or funds. The rest comes from little fundraisers like the Christmas bake sale and seed orders. Thank you for all of your support! If you are moving out of town, or are planning on a change of school for the upcoming school year, please let us know as soon as possible. This will greatly assist us in our planning!

Registration Information for 2020 - 2021….

The Deadline has passed for General Registration for the 2020-2021 school year…. If you would like your child(ren) to attend James Thomson, please register in person at the School Board Office, located at 4351 Ontario Ave. However, as we have passed the deadline, families will not be guaranteed the school of their choice. Please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Bussing… If you haven’t yet applied for bussing for the 2020-21 school year, please reapply online at https://forms.sd47.bc.ca

Students must apply for bussing each year.

Passes will be available for pick-up at the School Board Office in late August.

June saw a partial return to school—some students attended to the fullest extent, others attended some of the time, and still others continued with full-time remote learning.
