1. Go to the bottom of the page and select “Login”. 2. I recommend that you check “Remember Me”

You are now in!1. Notice your name in the top right corner.2. Notice that the page below the top TAA banner is divided into three columns.3. The left column shows announcements and categories for posts. 4. The Center shows member’s posts. 5. The right is our calendar and lists our events for the month.6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to view widgets and photo gallery.

This is the bottom of the welcome page.Notice the Moon widget, iCal widget, Photo gallery and the Night Sky Network widget.The iCal widget lets you download our activates for the year onto you computer or phone.The NASA widget will take you to the Night Sky Network page. It is full of information.

Reading a post1. Click on the title of the post you want to read. It will light up orange.

The complete post is now visible.1. Scroll down to read the entire post.

This is an interactive site (blog site).

You can comment on a post by selecting “Post a Comment” at the end of the post. Here is an example of a comment.

How to book your attendance for an event.1.

1. Select event from the Calendar or from the “Upcoming Events” section.2. I selected “Dry Creek Star Party” from the events list at the right.

You must be logged in to book an event.1. Notice that I am not logged in on this screen and there is no way to book the event. 2. Simply scroll all the way down and select “login”.

Now I am logged in.You only have to select a number if more than one person is attending with you.

1. Look at the bottom where it says “Bookings”2. You only have to enter a number if you are bring other people with you. The default is one.3. Select “send you booking”

Booking successful!You should receive an e-mail telling you that you have booked the event.

Sending E-mailThis is only available to TAA members and you must be logged in.

1. Move the cursor to the top left corner and hover over “Tulare Astronomical Association”.2. From the dropdown menu select “Dashboard”.

The DashboardLook at the side menu and select “E-mail Users”

2. From the dropdown menu select “Groups” or which ever one you want.

Now compose e-mail.1. select group 2.enter subject 3. write e-mail 4. send

Notice that I selected 3 groups for this e-mail.

When in doubt, go to “HELP”!!!Notice that the help tab is on the top menu bar next to “Contact”. It is also located at the very bottom of each page.
