What an awesome Truth, and what an honor given to Godspeople by His grace! It is a gift that is unspeakable in nature.

The world is moving very quickly toward the end of this agethat The Bible talks about. It will be a time when all of thetares will be gathered, and then the wheat will be brought intothe barn by our Lord Jesus Christ.

What a wonderful time that will be, as we see our Lord andSavior come back to this earth in order to set up His Kingdom!

We are told to pray Thy Kingdom come; Thy will bedone in earth, as it is in heaven by our Lord. We are giventhe keys to the Kingdom of heaven which is to bind what isbound in heaven and to loose what is loosed in heaven.

Our Lord has given us everything, so that we can becomepart of His Kingdom. His desire is that all of our loved ones, and all people will be with Him forever.

That is why He died on the cross. He is the only Truth, Wayand Life. Come to Him today, and pray for the salvation of all.

Matthew 5:8, Blessed are the pure in heart: forthey shall see God.

Matthew 5:9, Blessed are the peacemakers: for theyshall be called the children of God.

  • ?24, And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a manwith him until the breaking of the day.

25, And when he saw that he prevailed not against him,he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow ofJacobs thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26, And he said, Let Me go, for the day breaketh. Andhe said, I will not let Thee go, except Thou bless me.

27, And He said unto him, What is thy name? And hesaid, Jacob.

28, And He said, Thy name shall be called no moreJacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power withGod and with men, and hast prevailed.

29, And Jacob asked Him, and said, Tell me, I prayThee, Thy name. And He said, Wherefore is it that thoudost ask after My name? And He blessed him there.

30, And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for Ihave seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

31, And as He passed over Penuel the sun rose uponhim, and he halted upon his thigh.

32, Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinewwhich shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, untothis day: because He touched the hollow of Jacobs thighin the sinew that shrank (Genesis 32:24-32).

We were born into the world with the sin of Adam in ourDNA. So we needed a sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus Christ came into the world to redeem us from oursins. Through Him; we are accepted and adopted into thefamily of God.

Whoever believes in Jesus Christ becomes righteous. Asif, we had never sinned. We cannot achieve this ourselves, and so it is a gift of God.

To live in peace with others; we need to be reconciledto God. Young people have a difficult time withrelationships.

In apartment houses; people are having trouble sleepingdue to the noise level on the various floors. There are manycrimes committed such as murder, arson, theft, etc.

The apartment managers launched a campaign for theapartment dwellers to speak to each other each day. In theold days, neighbors mingled with each other, but these daysthat is not true.

That is why Jesus came to this earth to reconcile manwith God and with others.

Isaac had two twin sons, Jacob and Esau. They were verycompetitive.

In Israel, the first born had all the blessings. Jacob wasvery ambitious and clever, and he had many gifts, and so hecould help his mother.

Esau liked hunting, and he was closer to his father. It isthe same today, as one son will be more like the mother orthe other the father.

In my family; there were nine, and we had many fights. Ithink that my mother loved me more than my father. I missmy mother so much.

People like those who are closest to them. One day,Jacob had a bowl of lentil stew, and Esau was very hungry, and so Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a mess ofpottage or lentil stew.

So Jacob was able to steal the older brothers birthrightfrom Esau. Isaac wanted to give his blessings to Esau, but hiswife, Rebekah, wanted the birthright to go to Jacob who washer favorite son. She devised a way to deceive Isaac so thatJacob would receive the eldest sons birthright blessings.

Because Isaac could not see very well; he was deceived, and he gave the blessings to Jacob instead of Esau.

Esau was very upset, when he learned of the deception, and he wanted to kill his brother Jacob. This brought a greatproblem between the two brothers due to the inheritance.

Jacob stole the blessings from his brother, and he then

worked for many years for his Uncle Laban. He was thentold by the Lord to go back to his native land.

Later in Jacobs life, God renamed him lsrael, whichmeans, He struggles with God. He was greatly blessed byGod. However, when Jacob was headed home; he heard thathis brother Esau was coming with 400 armed soldiers.

Jacob decided not to cross the river. Then, he decidedto be changed from a Jacob to Israel, and to meet hisbrother and be reconciled.

Jacob wrestled with God, and his name was changed.Jacob was limping, and he had trouble walking. Jacobcould now surrender to his brother because he was humbledand had gained much wisdom.

He called the place Penuel. Now, Jacob knew who wasthe master of his life.

Jacob called Jesus Christ the Lord and the holy One ofIsrael. When you become a worm before God; He will helpyou, but if you try to control your life; God will let you alone.

I changed my name from Paul to David, but now I havegone back to my old name of Yonggi which meanscourage. What we say creates our experiences, and sothings that are of good report are true (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Fathers, please bless your children because theseblessings bring great benefits to you.

Pray to God that He is the master of your life, and He willhear you. He wants you to follow Him, and He will takecare of you, and He will fight the battle for you.

Jesus wants us to believe in Him, and to follow Him. Wedo not have to take on the burdens in our lives.

Jacob left everything to God, and he became obedientand humble, and then he decided to cross the river to seeEsau. Jacob saw Esau, and he bowed down to the groundseven times to Esau. He showed great respect to his brother, and Esau came to Jacob and kissed him.

Esau saw his brother limping and humbling himself andso Esau took pity on his brother, and they wept together. Allthe grudges were gone, and then reconciliation took place.

Surely, brothers and sisters, there will be a day when thenorth and south will be reconciled. It will have to be by the

mighty power of God. We must be changed, and then wecan become reconciled with our brothers and sisters.

Esau came to kill Jacob, and now he was reconciledwith his brother. The secret in change lives is the cross ofJesus Christ.

If you become a servant of God; then His blessings will cometo you. Curses will become blessings (II Cor. 2:5). Godreconciled us to Himself, and He gave us the ministry ofreconciliation, so that we will become the righteousness of God.

We have been given a mission, to pray for our neighbors.Jesus paid the price for our sins on The cross. Ourrighteousness and reconciliation is given to us because ofJesus Christs death on the cross.

Jacob became gentle and kind, and he went from Jacob toIsrael which brought a wonderful reconciliation with hisbrother Esau. His circumstances had not changed, but hechanged which brought the reconciliation.

When a person is in prison or is suffering great persecution, and the person changes his disposition, and he becomesgentle, kind and loving in the midst of his trials. It is a blessingfrom God. Nothing changed, but the individual changedthrough the cross of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Brothers and sisters, Jesus comes into your heart, and Herenews your heart and your mind. Because of Jesus Christ;you have received The Hoy Spirit, and you are blessed andyour name is written in the Lambs Book of Life.

We must have faith and hope in all of our lifes situations.

Oh, Father God, two sons of Isaac, Jacob and Esau werereconciled because of You. Please change us so that we canpray and love our neighbors.

We are not abandoned or destroyed. Please help us to rely onYou and Your work on The cross in Your Name. Amen.

s they approached Jerusalem and came toBethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives,Jesus sent two of His disciples, saying to them,

Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enterit, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has everridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you,Why are you doing this? tell him, The Lord needs itand will send it back here shortly. They went andfound a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, some people standing there asked,What are you doing, untying that colt? Theyanswered as Jesus had told them to, and the people letthem go (Mark 11:1-6).

The core of Christian faith is the cross of Jesus Christ. When we come to the church; the first thing we see isthe cross. The cross symbolizes the core of Christianfaith. Jesus died on the cross and forgave our sins andopened the door of salvation for us who are born in sin, live in sin, and die in sin.

After the Apostle Paul met Jesus; he made a confession.

1 Corinthians 2:2 says, For I resolved to knownothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ andHim crucified.

He always lived by boasting of the cross of Jesus. Ihope your whole life will be the life of boasting in thecross of Jesus Christ only. The four books of the Gospel, the Book of Matthew, the Book of Mark, the Book ofLuke, and the Book of John, have the incident of thecross of Jesus as the main story. Especially, the Book ofMark reports detailed the last week of Jesus for one-thirdof its contents.

Today is Palm Sunday when Jesus entered Jerusalemto be crucified on the cross. Jesus cleared the temple onMonday, argued with Jewish leaders on Tuesday, prepared for death with prayer on Wednesday, andpreached the Gospel to the disciples and washed theirfeet at the last supper on Thursday. On Thursday night,Jesus went up to Gethsemane and prayed crying out toGod. After 12 am on Friday, Jesus was arrested bysoldiers and was taken to the high priest Annas, toCaiapahs, then to Pilate. He was also taken to Herod,

but he handed Jesus over to Pilate. Jesus stood beforePilate, and He was sentenced to death at 6 am on Friday. Then, Jesus went up to Golgotha carrying the cross andwas crucified at 9 am and died at 3 pm. This week wereally should pray and give thanks in remembrance of theLords suffering.

Jesus entered Jerusalem, riding a colt. Through todayswords; I would like to find out three lessons given to us.

First, I would like us to think about the choice ofthe Lord.

Mark 11:1 says, As they approached Jerusalemand came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount ofOlives; Jesus sent two of His disciples.

Mark 11:2 says, Saying to them, Go to the villageahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find acolt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie itand bring it here.

Jesus entered Jerusalem to save humankind as theMessiah and the King of kings. However, He did notenter grandly riding a horse. Jesus told His disciples tountie a colt and bring it to Him, and He rode that coltwhich no one had ever ridden.

What does this colt signify? It tells us that the Lordsservant whom God chooses and uses needs to be pureand beautiful in Gods eyes.

When David was chosen as the second King of Israel,he was a shepherd boy. While he was shepherding his sheep;he was called and chosen as the second king. The mostimportant thing in our whole life is that our hearts need toalways be pure before God.

What is our problem? When we first received graceand became a new person after believing in Jesus; weconfessed crying that we would serve the Lord well. However, we get corrupted by the world. We get stainedwith dirt of sin, hatred, regret, resentment, complaint, and anger.

Some people are filled with anger. They live with

  • ?Church Growth/Summer 2013

explosive anger. Some people always get hurt. Theyseem to prepare to receive hurt. If someone says oneword or looks at them up and down; they get hurt easily.

We cannot be used by God with such an image. We shouldbe changed to the image that the Lord acknowledges. Weneed to be changed to the image that Jesus uses.

2 Timothy 2:20-21 says, In a large house there arearticles not only of gold and silver, but also of woodand clay; some are for noble purposes and some forignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, hewill be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any goodwork.

What should we do to be used preciously? When wecleanse ourselves and are prepared; the Lord will use uspreciously. Although it is an expensive dish, if it iscovered with mold and food waste; it cannot be used. However, even though a dish does not look nice, if it isclean and healthy, the food can be put on it, and it canbe used for good. Although we are not educated, do notpossess many things, and do not look nice to others, ifwe are changed and become pure in Gods eyes; the Lordwill use us.

The relationship with the Lord is important. What theothers are saying about us is not important. When theLord loves and uses us; it is true happiness, blessing, and grace. In order to be used; Jesus told us to be likelittle children.

Matthew 18:3 says, And He said: I tell you thetruth, unless you change and become like littlechildren, you will never enter the Kingdom ofHeaven.

God uses us when we change and become innocent likelittle children. We cannot be used by God if we get corruptedin the world, compromise, commit sins, lie, and deceiveothers. We always need to live with integrity before theLord. Even though it seems like we are making a lossnow, if we live authentically before God; God will raise usup. Korea has the confirmation hearing system. Nomineeswho have been respected and praised by others fall downovernight by a hearing. Members of The confirmationhearing committee dug up some dirt on them. If nomineeslived well; they would not have their weaknesses seized uponby committee members and would not have had anyproblem. However, not knowing that they would stand

high; they did not live according to the law. If they did notcompromise, but lived leading by the principles,Committee Members would say that they cannot findanything bad about nominees and make them pass. However, since they did not live leading by the principles, when Committee Members look for a catch; they find manybad things about them. So nominees who have been praisedresign and fall down.

Lord, we want to live sincerely before God whileliving in the world. Live with integrity. How we havelived is not important. I hope that the rest of your lifewill be the life that the Lord acknowledges.

Second, I would like us to think about the owner ofthe colt who obeyed the Lord.

Matthew 21:3 says, If anyone says anything toyou, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he willsend them right away.

Jesus told His disciples to untie a colt and bring it toHim. He told His disciples to tell him that the Lordneeds it if anyone asks why they are untying a colt.

Mark 11:5-6 says, Some people standing thereasked, What are you doing, untying that colt? Theyanswered as Jesus had told them to, and the peoplelet them go.

When the disciples said, The Lord needs it, peoplelet it go. In the Book of Luke, we can tell that the peoplewere the owners of the colt.

Luke 19:33-34 says, As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, Why are you untying thecolt? They replied, The Lord needs it.

It is surprising that the owners let them go when thedisciples untied their colt and took it saying, The Lordneeds it. Like the owners who readily gave away theircolt which they cherished when the disciples said theLord needs it. Even though it is something that youreally cherished, when the Lord says He needs it,respond by saying Amen and offer it to the Lordsaying, Lord, take me. Amen. When we obey the Lord;we meet suffering and sacrifice; however, we also receivegreat grace and blessing; Jesus whole life was the life ofobedience and sacrifice.

Philippians 2:8 says, And being found in appearance

  • Church Growth/Summer 2013?

as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient todeath-even death on a cross!

Third, we need to humble ourselves before God inorder to be used by God. Never be arrogant.

Matthew 21:5 says, Say to the Daughter of Zion,See, your King comes to you, gentle and riding on adonkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

In those days, when kings or generals won the war and cameback; they rode on horseback in an imposing manner with aflourish of bugles. However, Jesus entered Jerusalem on a colt. This showed the humility of the Lord. Jesus showed Hishumility to us. Jesus with gentlenessand humility tells us, Learngentleness and humility from Me.

When we look at the Book ofNumbers, Chapter 12, there is anaccident of Moses brother and sistertalking against Moses becauseMoses married an African woman. When they criticized Moses formarrying an African woman; Godpraised him.

Numbers 12:3 says, NowMoses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else onthe face of the earth.

The Lord is with the person whois gentle and humble. John theBaptist prepared the way for Jesus 6months before Jesus. He baptizedmany people and told them torepent. However, when Jesuscame; people went to Jesus. Even his disciples wentto Jesus.

One of his disciples said to John the Baptist, Teacher, people who used to be with you went to Jesus. Evenyour disciples went to Jesus. There is the famous wordthat John the Baptist said.

John 3:30 says, He must become greater; I mustbecome less.

Do not forget. In our lives; Jesus must becomegreater, and we must become less and serve the Lord

    with joy and thanksgiving.

I hope that you serve the Lord like John the Baptist. Iwant the Lord to be worthy and honored and the preciouswork of the Lord to be accomplished in my life. I want theLord to be shown; not myself.

Early last year, a Christian broadcaster interviewed mefor an hour. The staff asked me the last question saying,Pastor, after you finish the ministry, how would you liketo be remembered when you retire? What kind of pastordo you want people to remember of you?

I answered him saying, After I finish my ministry, I do notwant to be remembered. I onlywant the marks of Jesus to beremembered. I want the marks ofJesus to remain. I hope your lifewill be the life of leaving themarks of Jesus. I hope the marksof Jesus remain in your steps.

I hope that the marks ofJesus remain where you stay. Iwant Jesus marks to be left inyour conversation with all thepeople. Throughout everythingthat you have achieved; I hope thatthe marks of Jesus remain; notyour achievement.

    Remember Pastor AndrewMurrays words:

Pride must die in you, ornothing of heaven can live in you.Pride is death and hell, but humilityis life and heaven. Then, from

where does the true humility come? It comes from theknowledge that it is God who rules everything in the world, that we are nothing and cannot do anything, and that weneed to surrender ourselves and rely only on God.

The Lord says in Matthew 11:29-30, Take Myyoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentleand humble in heart, and you will find rest foryour souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden islight.

Learn The humility of Jesus. Emulate the gentleness ofthe Lord.

  • ?Church Growth/Summer 2013

Philippians 2:7-8 says, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made inhuman likeness. And being found in appearance as aman, He humbled Himself and became obedient todeath- even death on a cross!

What was the last thing that Jesus did at the lastsupper? It was washing the disciples feet. Jesus didwhat slaves or servants did at that time. Because Hisdisciples still did not understand Jesus suffering of thecross; they thought Jesus would be the king and arguedfor the position. At that moment, Jesus washed their feetand said to them.

John 13:14-15 says, Now that I, your Lord andTeacher, have washed your feet, you also should washone anothers feet. I have set you an example that youshould do as I have done for you.

Pastor Samuel Logan Brengle built up the foundationof Holiness Theology of the Salvation Army. Hestudied law at Boston University and studied theology atAsbury Theological Seminary. When Pastor Brenglewas invited to a big church in the States; he was filledwith the Holy Spirit and met William Booth, the Generalof the Salvation Army.

He told William Booth that he would help him andwork for the Salvation Army. So, he went to England, declining the invitation to serve the big church. However, as soon as he arrived there; they made himpolish shoes of many cadets of the Salvation Armywhen they came back from their ministry in the evening.

Pastor Brengle had to polish cadetsshoes caked withmud all night long in a dark basement room. As heremoved the mud from the shoes; he got upset. He didnot understand why he, who graduated from theprestigious university, had to polish the shoes. However,at one point, the grace of the Lord was poured uponhim. He remembered Jesus washing His disciples feet.

Didnt Jesus, who was to receive the glory ofheaven and praise of the angels, leave His Father, humbly come to the earth in the form of a servant, andwash His disciples feet? When he realized that, hesaid, Lord, didnt You wash Your disciples feet? Iwould humbly polish their shoes, too.

He became the servant of the Lord and the leader whowas held in respect and touched many ministers in the

Salvation Army. Being used as a leader means livinga life of humility and gentleness. It is the true leader.Since a humble and gentle person shows Jesus in his/herimage; God pours blessing upon that person. Alwaysmake a confession before the Lord, I am nothing, butthe Lord is all in all.

My cousin graduated from a university in the Statesand worked as a head nurse in a hospital. One day, sheheard the voice of the Lord and went to Youth with aMission in Hawaii to become a missionary. As soon asshe arrived there; they trained her. They did not makeher do anything but to wash dishes.

About a hundred people lived together and after eachmeal, she had to go into the kitchen and wash dishes. She washed the dishes for a whole month.

So she got upset thinking that she did not come hereto wash the dishes but to become a missionary. Shecried and agonized over whether to go back to theStates. However, God poured grace upon her that shepassed the dish-washing training and became amissionary.

Staying at Yanji City in China; she opened two orphanages. She goes to Pyeongyang every month and serves them. How grateful the grace of the Lord is! When we becomelowered; the Lord will use us. The hardest thing is to belowered because we feel like we are special.

    Let us pray, Our Heavenly Father of infinite love, grace, and mercy;

we are nothing. The Lord is everything to me. Lord, please take my life with pleasure. In Jesus Name wepray, amen.

    auls challenge to the church to Shine likestars in the universe is still relevant todaybecause the world is in darkness. People are lost;

they are groping about in the dark. It is significant tonote that a star guided the wise men to the place wherethe Savior was born. So, Pauls instruction still appliesto us today. We should be the lights guiding men to theSavior.

We should shine so that thosein darkness can find Jesus astheir Lord and Savior. We arethe Church, and we are called tobe lighthouses wherever we are.

The Word of God tells us whywe ought to shine for Jesus:

    1. Children of God throughCreation

Malachi 2:10 states: Havewe not all one Father? Didnot one God create us? Whydo we profane the covenantof our fathers by breakingfaith with one another?Everyone, in a sense, is a childof God because it was He whocreated us.

    2. Children of God throughRedemption

Through the redemptive work of Jesus; we all havebeen given the right to become children of God. John1:12, 13 states: Yet to all who receive Him, tothose who believed in His Name, He gave the rightto become children of God-children born not of naturaldescent, nor of human decision or a husbands will, butborn of God.

Gal 3:26, 27, says the same thing: You are all

sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all ofyou who were baptized into Christ have clothedyourselves with Christ.

Gods redemptive work on the cross has cleansed usfrom all sins. We who have put our faith and trust inJesus become the children of God. Therefore, as Gods

children, we ought to shine anddirect those who are still livingin sin to Jesus Himself.

We who have accepted Jesus asour Savior have His light in us.We are to let that light shine. Jesussaid in John 8:12: I am thelight of the world. Whosoeverfollows Me will never walk indarkness, but will have the lightof life. We who followed Himhave the light of life. Therefore,we should be that shining lightthat will lead our family members, friends and members of ourcommunity to Jesus.

Shining for JesusIn the Sermon on the Mount,

Jesus exhorted His disciples toshine for Him. He said inMatt 5:14: You are the lightof the world. A city on a hill

    cannot be hidden.

Jesus wants us to shine and show others how to liveand rise above their problems to face the challenges oflife. We must therefore be determined to be that lightin this dark world. Our light can bring great help andpleasure to those around us.

The Bible has some examples of those who shonefor Christ. Below are two such examples:

    Prince Guneratnam

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children ofGod without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you

hold out the Word of life- in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor fornothing (Philippians 2:14-16).

John the BaptistJohn 5:35 states: John was a lamp that burned

and gave light. John the Baptist lived in such a waythat he was likened to a lamp that burned and gave light tothose around him.

Stephen the DeaconActs 6:15 states: All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin

looked intently at Stephens face which shone like anangel. It was not merely a physical condition. His faceshone with an impression that said he was a child of God.The expression showed that he had been redeemed fromsins, the self and worldly concerns. That light radiated outfrom within him.

Likewise, we can shine for Jesus.

How Should We Shine?Matt 5:16 says: In the same way, let your light shine

before men, that they may see your good deeds andpraise your Father in heaven. Shining for the Lord isthe essence of Christian service. We should let our light soshine that those who see our good deeds will give praise toGod because it is the Father who works in us. We do not

have the ability to be good. Only God can accomplish thatin us. We are His handiwork.

Therefore, to shine for Jesus means doing what is good, righteous and pleasing to God. To be such light; it isgood to start each day with the prayer: God, make me ablessing to someone through the things I say and do.Lord, use me to lead someone to find You as his or herSavior and Lord.

he University of Cape Coast is one of the principal universities in Ghana. The university, whichwas established in 1962, has a student population of 52,000 which includes distant learners andsandwich students. About 16,000 students are resident on the campus.

The Healing Jesus Campaign Team, led by Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, visited this school withthree nights of power-packed Gospel Campaign.

Virtually, the entire school gathered on the Casford Field to hear the message of the matchlessGospel of Jesus Christ preached by the Evangelist. It was the largest gathering ever in the history ofthe university. The crusade was also attended by senior members and lecturers.

Each night, Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills preached the message of salvation with simplicity and passion.

He preached on The House on a Rock, Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, and Greater Love.Over a thousand students rushed forward each night in response to the Evangelists invitation to salvationin Jesus Christ.

The power of God was also present to heal the sick. There were many notable and fantastic miracles.

A woman who was wheelchair bound due to a stroke for many years got up and began to walk as theEvangelist prayed. Lumps melted away and many eye related problems were healed. Truly, Jesus is ahealing Jesus.

he Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), one of Ghanas leadinguniversities witnessed two nights of powerful visitation from the Lord through the Healing JesusCampaign. Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills and his team visited the university on the 15th and 16th of

February, 2013 in what has become the most powerful, ground-breaking evangelistic and miraclecampaigns in the schools history.

The expectation was great, and the atmosphere was electrifying and the Lord confirmed His Wordwith many signs and wonders on the Royal Parade Grounds of the University which was overflowingwith over 10,000 students being blessed with The unadulterated Gospel salvation messages.

The first night saw the Evangelist preaching a message entitled BREAKING NEWS: ALL DEADPEOPLE ARE STILL ALIVE!!! It was a moving and convicting message on life after death and thestudents listened in such silence and rapt attention that one could have heard a pin drop! When theEvangelist made the altar call it was such a wonderful sight to see 1,800 students surrender their lives toChrist on the first night! Over 1,300 students gave their lives to Christ on the second night, as anotherpowerful message was preached with the Holy Spirit performing signs and great wonders.

Testimonies of healing and miracles abounded both nights. Many ladies with lumps in their breastsreceived their healing as the lumps disappeared. Many visually impaired students who could not see morethan 20 meters from where they stood were suddenly healed and began to see very clearly from afar off !!!The power of God touched a lady who for over 5 years could not control her ability to urinate.

To her shock and awe, she realized that for over 30 minutes, she felt like passing urine, but she couldhold it!!! A young man who described himself as a bad believer in miracles, but who could not standfor more than 10 minutes without leaning on somebody or something could not believe that after theEvangelist prayed for healing, he had been standing for over 30 minutes without feeling or sensing anyneed to sit or lean on anything!!!!!

These and many more miracles and blessings did the University of Science and Technology receiveduring the Healing Jesus Campaign.

oth God and Satan are releasing a spirit of desperationupon the earth in our days-one is a spirit of hopelessnessand false hope, while the other is a spirit of hunger for

more of God. One spirit will cause despair, while the otherwill produce desperation for a fresh encounter with God.

To see the invitation of the enemys spirit of desperation, allwe need to do is watching the evening news or reading thedaily newspaper to discover that these are despairing daysacross the globe.

Almost everywhere we look, we see a stalled economy, highunemployment, budget crises, rampant crime, racial unrest, wars, environmental catastrophes, natural disasters... and thelist goes on. These desperate days are truly days of crisis.

However, the word crisis originally and literally meansdecision. For believers in Jesus Christ, these are days ofdecision; for it is we who choose which spirit of desperationwill operate in our lives.

Satan would have our minds overwhelmed with theproblems of this world. His desire is for us to have our faithneutralized by eliminating our hope (after all... faith is thesubstance of things hoped for). If the heaviness of these daysdoes not cause us to give up all hope; the enemy will try to getour hopes off God, and put them onto other people.

In other words, he wants us to have false hope. Nopolitician, no newsperson, no radio personality, no churchleader has the answer for these dark and daring days - onlyJesus Christ, the Messiah! Our hopes must be fixed on theLord and not upon anyone else.

To do this you might have to turn off the TV, stop listeningto certain radio programs, or even stop reading the newspaper. To break through and be victorious; you do not need moreinformation... you need more desperation! This is theparamount need of the days in which we live.

The Good News is that, in these anxious times, the Lord ispouring out His Spirit of desperation who ignites a hunger andthirst for more of God. He is pouring out His Spirit ofdesperation in unprecedented measure in these unusual times.

The Spirit will stir up our hearts to move beyond merely

wishing for more or wanting more of God, and take us to theplace where we are desperate - we must have more.

He will fill our hearts with a holy hunger to spend ourselves onworshiping God, a willingness to wait upon the Lord, and aresolution to settle for nothing less than all God has to give us.

Recently, while worshiping at the end of a service, there was astrong presence of the Lord pouring out His Spirit of desperation.I asked the Lord if He was sending another wave of His Spirit.

Clearly the Lord declared, My desire is not to send a wave ofMy Spirit, but to find a people who will willingly open thefloodgates of their hearts - who will throw their hearts doorswide open to Me. To them, I will not merely send a wave of MySpirit. The tide of My presence will come in and be with them.

What a tremendous promise. The Lord wants us to open ourhearts to embrace His Spirit of desperation. If we will; He willbe with us; not like a quickly come and quickly gone wave, but like the gradually- increasing, long - lasting tide. A waveis temporary- only on the shore for a few seconds, while thetide is prolonged- it comes in for hours.

With a heart of invitation, the Lord is asking if you will beone who surrenders to the enemys spirit of despair in thesedark and desperate days, or will you take desperate measuresby heeding His calling to open up the floodgates of yourheart- open them wide - so the Holy Spirit can deposit Hisholy desperation. Those who will see the glory of God will bethose whose hungry hearts sing:

Im desperately needy for you. All that I have... simplywont do. So, I implore, pour out much more; For I amdesperate; Im desperately needy for you.

am an Asian American Israeli. I have an Asian face,an American voice and an Israeli passport. My wife isa Messianic Jew, and we came as immigrants to Israel

in 1987 from Japan where I had been serving as a pastorand working in the computer industry.

We moved to the city of Haifa and settled on Mt. Carmel, the Mountain of Elijah the Prophet. In 1991, after the GulfWar we were part of small group that founded a newcongregation on Mt. Carmel, and I became one of the pastors.

In 1996, a ministry called Asia Center was launched tobuild a spiritual highway of intercession and evangelismbetween Israel and the growing churches in East Asia.

What is the significance of Israel to the unfinished task ofworld evangelization? Israel is a resurrected nation withan irrevocable gifting and call (Romans 11:28-29).

Gods purpose for Israel was clearly expressed whenAbraham was first called by God and chosen for a speciallife of faith.

Go forth from your country, and from your relativesand from your fathers house, to the land which I willshow you; and I will make you a great nation, and I willbless you, and make your name great; and so you shallbe a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, andthe one who curses you I will curse. And in you all thefamilies of the earth shall be blessed (Genesis 12:1-3).

From the start, Abrahams call involved giving ablessing to all the nations of the world. God repeated Hispromise after Abrahams faithfulness was tested on theMountain of Sacrifice with his son, Isaac.

The Lord repeated this same promise to Abrahams sonIsaac and also to his grandson; Jacob who was renamed Israel.

Four times over three generations God declares in theBook of Genesis that the destiny of the Jewish people isto be a blessing to all the peoples of the world.

God has maintained His faithfulness to Israel throughoutthe centuries. Israel is still Gods chosen nation. However,Jesus said, From everyone who has been given much,

much will be required; and to whom they entrustedmuch, of him they will ask all the more (Luke 12:48).

The correct response to being chosen by God is a deepsense of obligation. Choseness without obligation isexclusivity. This exclusivity was the root sin of the Pharisees, the leading Jewish sect in Jesus day.

Israel is JonahIn the Bible, an individual man often serves as Gods

picture of a nation. In the Book of Jonah, the Prophet wecan see Gods choosing of a man, and Gods choosing ofa nation. In Jonah Chapter One, God said, Arise, go toNineveh the great city and cry against it, for theirwickedness has come up before Me (Jonah 1:2).

This is a picture of Gods purpose in His original Covenantwith Israel. God chose Israel to be a light to all the nations, butIsrael chose not to be chosen and rejected Gods call.

Jonah disobeyed and fled by ship, but God caused aviolent storm, and each gentile sailor in desperation calledupon his own god.

Lots were chosen, and it was found that Jonah, a Jew,was aboard fleeing in disobedience to God.

Jonah accepted the blame for the ships misfortune andwas thrown into the sea. In this, we can see the nationsraging in fearful frustration and a shadow of future anti-Semitism, as the Jew in their midst is identified and castout to his death.

God appointed a fish to swallow Jonah. It was a seamonster of judgment and near-extinction, but also thevessel of his ultimate preservation.

This mysterious event was interpreted by Jesus when Hesaid, An evil and adulterous generation craves for asign; and yet no sign shall be given to it but the sign ofJonah the prophet; for just as Jonah was three days andthree nights in the belly of the sea monster, so will theSon of Man be three days and three nights in the heartof the earth (Matthew 12:39-40).

with His own journey through death and into hell itself.

For Israels Messiah to be cut off meant death andseparation from God not just for Him, but for the entirenation. Jesus death was a sign of judgment upon Godschosen nation.

After 70 A.D., when most of the people of Israel wereexpelled from the land of their inheritance; Israel ceased tofunction as a nation.

What followed was almost two thousand years ofwandering, persecutions, expulsions and murders, culminating in the Holocaust where millions of Jews weresystematically hunted down and exterminated.

Has God required any other nation to die as excruciatinga death as this over such a long period of time?

However, Gods mercy triumphs over His judgment. In1948 a new nation, modern Israel was born. Even as Jesusdied and was resurrected to new life, the Nation of Israeldisappeared from the earth to be reborn in our time.

The appearance of modern Messianic Jewish believersin Israel today is a resurrection of the faith held by thefirst Israeli disciples of Jesus.

In Jonah Chapter three it says, The word of theLord came to Jonah the second time.

The Lord is the God of the second chance and Hissecond call to Jonah was the same as His first: Go,preach to another nation. This time Jonah obeyed theWord of God and became Israels best-known, cross -cultural Prophet - a Jewish Missionary! Today, afterIsraels long years of dispersion; God is giving the Jewishremnant a second chance to be a Light to the Nations.Israel is the only nation to which God will give two historicopportunities- separated by two thousand years! It wasJesus who prophesied, The last shall be first, and thefirst last (Matthew 20:16).

In our day, we are witnessing not only the historic returnof the Jewish people to the land of Israel, but the rise ofindigenous Israeli congregations worshipping Jesus in thevery land where He once walked.

God is sending His Word a second time to the restoredremnant of Israel to fulfill the Chosen Nations call. Jonah wasa Jewish Prophet sent cross-culturally to preach the Word of

God even to the traditional enemies of his own people.

Modern Israels redemption is joined with her actions asa light bringing Jesus message of salvation to the nationsof the world.

Paul the Apostle wrote, A partial hardening has happenedto Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; andthus all Israel will be saved (Romans 11:25b-26a).

For Zions SakeThere is a majestic sequence to Gods actions in history

and a unique season given for each nation.

Gods original covenant purpose and call for Israel andthe Jewish people to be a spiritual light to all nations hasnot changed. Today, in the modern state, a remnant ofIsraeli believers are worshipping Yeshua (Jesus) andbringing the power of His Spirit back home to Israel afteralmost two thousand years.

Among the steadily growing numbers of Jewish believersare individuals and families who are called to go... to theMuslims, to the Hindus, and to all the nations.

These Israeli Missionaries have received the mandateand mantle of Abraham, and they are humbly joining theirGentile, Christian brothers and sisters who have thus farcarried the work of world evangelization.

Modern Israeli ministers are arriving late in the daylike the laborers called to work in the vineyard that Jesusdescribed in Matthew Chapter twenty. However, it is forZions sake-for the salvation of Israel, as well as for theworld that we obey and preach transculturally.

For Zions sake I will not keep silent, and forJerusalems sake I will not keep quiet, until herrighteousness goes forth like brightness, and hersalvation like a torch that is burning. And the nationswill see your righteousness (Isaiah 62:1-2a).

y story began on a noisy night in New YorkCity thirty years ago. New York is the city thatnever sleeps, and neither could I. That day,

my boss had called me into his office, and in a shortconversation, had changed my life. No, it wasnt inthe way you might have expected. In thirty minutes, Iwent from assisting him as an analyst to becomingmanager of marketing services. I went from being anindividual contributor to the head of a 350-persondivision with five managers reporting directly to me! Iwas floored.

As I lay in bed; I assessed the situation. Upon graduationfrom Stanford Business School, I had been ready to take onthe world, armed with what I had learned. I felt as though Ihad come out of that institution like a proton comes out ofa cyclotron, ready to blast through the business worldwith my understanding of the latest business tools. However, I found that the tools, while highly effective, did not help me explain or solve a number of toughissues.

Now, I was a 27-year-old Stanford MBA, rapidlyclimbing the ladder at a major New York company, butwhere would it take me? What would I be in 30 years? Itried to chart my future career trajectory. At the end of allthe perturbations and iterations; it all seemed somehowempty and purposeless. Mentally exhausted, a strange andfrightening thought entered my mind: Is that all there is?What if I woke up at age 60 and realized that I had missedit, and I didnt even have a notion of what it was! However, I knew that if I missed it now, only to discover itat age 60; I would never be able to recover those lost years.

It was a scary thought; I never told anyone, but itnagged me for years and started me on a search for ananswer. As I lay in bed, it never dawned on me that it wasGod. A few years later I was married, had a son, and wasliving in California. My wife, Roberta, and I thought weowed our son the same opportunity to consider religion aswe had been given, so he could come to his own decisionabout faith.

A plan was hatched. Our first stop would be the localchurch I had attended as a child. Next, would be theCatholic church where Roberta was raised, then the local

Buddhist Temple, the synagogue, and so on.

We never made it past the first church. As we wentSunday after Sunday; I began to wrestle with God. Iknew I was hearing spiritual truth. I began to thinkseriously about the Lord, and I knew He wanted to enterinto a relationship with me. My wrestling with God wasnot about following Jesus; it was about what I would do ifI did take that step. By way of the Sunday sermons; I hadcome to the conclusion that any serious Christian couldonly serve God as a pastor, a true follower of Jesus wouldlay down his career and go into preaching.

I wanted to be a Christian, but I also wanted to be abusinessman. My education, training, abilities and passionwere in business. Could I really give those up to followGod? In the church parking lot after one Sunday morningservice; I struggled with God over that choice. The Lordpointed me to Psalm 37:4, Delight yourself in theLord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. My desires were for business; so I asked God to changemy heart. That morning I decided to follow God, even ifit meant I needed to become a pastor in a poor section oftown.

My Ministry: BusinessSadly, I later discovered that even mature Christians

often succumb to this line of thinking, concluding thatthey must change careers in order to serve God. They failto see the opportunity for spiritual value in their work inthe marketplace. The businesspersons ministry is toserve others through useful goods and helpful servicesand to infuse each personal interaction with the fragranceof Christ. That is His highcalling from God, and it wasmy calling.

Business by The BookGod was giving me the desire of my heart. It would

take years for me to fully understand the importantconcept that business was my ministry, but God started toteach me slowly. One Sunday, our pastor spoke on thetopic of Weekend Warriors. Was I one of those peoplewho prayed and worshiped on Sunday and left all of thatat home, as I entered a different and unrelated world onMonday? After recognizing I fit the description of thoseWeekend Warriors. I realized that my faith needed to

impact my work. I needed to do my business by the Book.I needed to evaluate my actions in light of the Biblicalstandards of integrity, morality and love.

So for many years, I faithfully took the Lord with meon my quest to serve Him in the business world.

I used the Bible to carefully consider the morality of myactions. I wanted to please the Lord, and I could see thevalue of operating aboveboard. This was the first step ofmaking my work my ministry, one. I am sure many of youcan identify with.

Partnering with GodEventually, the Lord showed me that He wanted to be

more than a moral standard of an example of lovingconcern for others in my business practice. He began toreveal that He wanted to partner with me in all that I wasdoing. Early on, I had seen God as the One who put mehere and cared for me.

I had seen Him as uniquely and significantly interestedin the process of how I did my business. Ultimately, Ithought He was uninterested in the outcome of mybusiness, since that was not Spiritual. I didnt realizethat this view sells God short. He is as interested in theoutcome as He is in how we approach an issue.

Recently, a friend told me that when he prays, he asksonly for strength and courage to do what is right in hisbusiness. That is fine as far as it goes, but God has andwants to give more. These prayers fall short of thepotential in the relationship we have with God.

I told him his prayer was fine, but it left God out ofpartnering with him in his business. He said, I get it; Iam only getting half of the equation. The other half in mybusiness is God. I noted that his was a good analogy, except it is more like firing on one cylinder when wehave available to us seven more.

Another friend expressed another common view ofbusinessmen in the Church. I never pray for specificoutcomes, he said. It is not right to bother God withthese issues. I just pray that Gods will be done in thesituation.

That is fine too, as far as it goes. However, it fails torecognize that God wants to lead us and provide for us inevery aspect of our lives, as we follow His plans for us.We acknowledge that He could bring about specific

outcomes, because we see Him do the miraculous whenthe doctors cant.

However, since He does not always answer that type ofprayer in the affirmative; we reckon it is better not to ask.Yet He is in the business of doing miracles to make upfor where we fall short. King David spent a week on hisface before God, asking Him to spare his child. God didnot, but that never stopped David from asking.

The point here is that if we dont ask God specificallyfor answers to prayers, we cannot know when He hasanswered us specifically. That includes prayers for Godto partner with us and affect miraculous businessoutcomes. In my case, He had wanted to help, but I hadnot been in the asking mode. The realization that Goddesired to partner with me, and that He cared aboutbusiness outcomes and wanted me to ask Him for specificresults- deepened the sense of business, as my ministry.

Business Success and the BibleIn the course of writing this book; God has taken me

into a new area of awareness. I have understood for manyyears that God is interested in busines, and I have noticedthe correlation of Biblical concepts with businessrealities. Only recently, have I fully appreciated the depthto which the Bible is the foundation of all meaningfulbusiness concepts.

Honesty, service, excellence, respect, commitment, value, trust, loyalty and quality are not only successful businesspractices, but are also Biblical Principles.

They were Biblical Principles first. The credit is rarelygiven to Scripture, because so few recognize the genesisof the concepts. Thus, many of us have been taught thebusiness principles without any reference to their Biblicalorigin. I have come to appreciate that good businesspractices dont conflict with the Bible - they are the Bible.

When successful business people who operate onBiblical Principles are the subject of articles and book chapters, the writer is often incredulous that theindividual succeeded despite the albatross of followingGods laws.

How could he or she possibly profit without cuttingcorners, engaging in dishonesty, and treating employeesdispassionately? I believe these individuals are notsuccessful despite following Biblical Principles; they are

ncouragement is one of the key ingredients tosuccess in any endeavor. That is why it is such avaluable and precious commodity.

I have heard of true cases where one simple word ofencouragement brought a person out of a dark pit ofheaviness, and it caused the person to forge ahead intogreat heights of brilliance.

To be an encourager; you must have a generous heart. You must have special insight into what is needed toactivate greatness in a person who has been pushed downand who feels defeated by life. It is a tremendous gift tobe an encourager.

What does the root word mean? It is a means wherebya person is inspired and activated with confidence inorder to forge ahead with the needed approval andsupport.

How often does a person feel so alone in their work andchoices, but with a little encouragement; that same personwill move forward with boldness to accomplish his or hergoal.

World English Dictionaryencourage -vb1. to inspire (someone) with the courage or

confidence (to do something)2. to stimulate (something or someone to do

something) by approval or help; support

An encourager (plural encouragers) Noun: It is one who gives encouragement.

There have been many encouragers in our livesthroughout the years, but there is only One who will bethere throughout the long haul. God almighty is ourgreatest Encourager in this life, and His Word is powerfulto motivate, inspire, empower, and to move us intosupernatural realms of victory.

When you know that The God who created theuniverse is on your side; nothing can come against you. When you love God and are called according to His

purpose; you have the Holy Spirit working in you, through you, for you and He is your Confidence, yourEncourager, and He is your overcoming power for successin any and all of your pursuits in this life.

When we read the Word of God; we are not onlyhearing what God is saying, but we are also beingempowered with the Presence of God. He is The Word, and He is The Truth, The Way and The Life.

Through His Word; we can be in a constant state ofbeing encouraged by the Greatest Encourager of alltime, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Joshua 1:9, Joshua tells us that he was commanded tobe strong and of good courage. He was commanded tonot be afraid or dismayed because the Lord God waswith him wherever he went.

Joshua and Caleb were able with the help of Godsencouragement to bring down Jericho and to conquer thePromised Land. Today, with this type of encouragementfrom our Lord Jesus Christ; we can conquer our area ofinfluence for the Kingdom of God.

Philippians 4:13, gives us the encouragement for anyand everything. We will ever attempt to accomplishwhen the Word of God says that We can do allthings through Christ which strengthens us.

Many times in my life; the above verse kept megoing. Just repeating it in your mind and out loud willgive you the strength you need to carry on and forgeahead.

Gods Word brings comfort, protection, Truth, deliverance, health, wisdom, love, joy, peace and itendues us with new faith, hope and courage tocomplete our lives in the victory that He has won onthe cross.

In short, our Lord and our God is our greatestEncourager through His powerful Words of Life.

We will all need encouragement at some point inour lives. It is a fact that the enemy of our souls is

very busy in every aspect of our lives trying to bringdiscouragement to us. Discouragement is rampant in ourlives in these end times.

When we hear the bad news; it is often intended tobring us to hopelessness, distress and apathy in our powerto overcome these difficulties. However, when you arebeing bombarded with negative reports; just open up thatBook that is above every other book in the world, andread the Words of our Great Encourager Jesus Christ.

He is always found in His Word to bring us througheach and every experience, trial or tribulation in ourlives. He has the perfect Word of encouragement foryou as you look to Him and open His Book.

We read so much every day that could bring us to aplace of heaviness, but when we open The Book; wecan be so encouraged, inspired and renewed in TheHoly Spirit of God.

If you are an encourager; you take after Your FatherGod and His Son, Who are so very brilliant intransforming what is lacking into what is filled withlove, faith, hope, new life and vitality.

In short, it can be the precise key to a persons abilityto fulfill their destiny with greater confidence, assuranceand enthusiasm.

My prayer for all of Gods people:Dear Heavenly Father, We pray that all of Your

people will be granted Your gift of encouragement tothose in need. Please bring us into the paths of thosewho need a kind word of encouragement, a pat on theback or a word that will inspire them to move onwardand upward in their destiny.

A word that is fitly spoken is like apples of gold inpictures of silver. Please grant us this powerful gift, andmay it be used for Your honor and glory. In Jesusalmighty Name and for Your glory. Amen and amen.

All meaningful business concepts have a BiblicalFoundation. For example, nations of economic greatnessdisplay a very high level of trust in their moral, culturaland economic systems. Of course, trust is fundamental toour relationship with God, Who is trustworthy.

The rule of law, so fundamental to strong economies andstable societies, is also basic to the Bible. We are under ahigher authority, and Gods laws are immutable. Stability ingovernment is fundamental to successful business.

The Biblical mandate to Do unto others as youwould have them do unto you is basic to the conceptof good service. Ethics and morality are defined by astrong set of fundamental beliefs to which all adhere, andthe Lord is the glue that holds it all together.

Because Biblical Principles lead to successful business, the market place affords us the opportunity to presentGods truth in a uniquely relevant way. We just need toconnect the dots between business and the Bible. In the

process of teaching and demonstrating successfulbusiness practices; we can present the Gospel by wordand by deed.

This opportunity to share the Gospel through business existsat home and abroad, and it is what has prompted manymissions-minded Christians to pursue Kingdom business.

THE GOSPEL WAVEBN.com-Peter Tsukahira is a JapaneseAmerican Israeli citizen. He is a secondgeneration Japanese born in America. As a

young man; he studied at a Boston University inthe 60s during the turbulent times of the VietnamWar and the Civil Rights Movement. Heparticipated in the youth-oriented CulturalRevolution that was sweeping the nation untilhis best friend commited suicide. This marked aturning point for Peter to search for truth in his life.

Several months after his best friends death in 1973; Petersgirlfriend of Jewish descent, Rita, went to a coffeehouse inSanta Fe, N.M., called Shalom. There, she heard a young Jewishhippies story about his life-changing encounter with Jesusas his Messiah. That night Rita went through a deep heartchange and accepted Jesus as her Messiah, too. Peter noticedthe immediate, radical change in Ritas life and prayed tobecome Gods servant.

Soon after this, Peter and Rita were married, and Petersdesire to become involved in ministry led him to go to twoyears of seminary at Christ for the Nations. From thisearliest point of their conversion to Christianity; God hadalready put Israel in Peter and Ritas hearts. Also, their contactsat Christ for the Nations had strong ties to Israel. While Peterwas going to seminary; he also worked in the computerindustry. Both of these paths led them to Japan in the 1980s.

CALL TO ISRAELFor five years in Tokyo; Peter helped assemble an

international congregation and served as associate pastor, yet Peter and Rita always knew they would live and workin Israel. As a result of Ritas Jewish heritage, they wereinvited to come to Israel as new immigrants and becomecitizens. In 1987, they moved to Israel with their 2-year-olddaughter. They had the vision to establish a congregationin Haifa that would benefit both Jews and gentiles, andthey began to gather with a handful of believers near theirhome for prayer and fellowship. In 1990, they met Davidand Karen Davis. The Davises moved from Jerusalem toHaifa to start a drug rehabilitation center called BeitNitzachon, or House of Victory. In 1991, the Davisesasked Peter and Rita to help them pastor the congregationthat began out of the rehabilitation center. This congregationbecame Kehilat HaCarmel (Carmel Assembly), wherethey all continue to minister.

GODS TSUNAMIA key message Peter wants to share is the

incredible significance of Israel as a nation. Theexistence of Israel alone is the fulfillment of GodsWord. It testifies to Gods covenant and proves Hispromises are true. Bible believers should beenlightened to Gods fulfillment of His promisesand His Word through His chosen people, the Jews.Israel exists because God purposed it this way, andIsrael was chosen to be a blessing for all nations.

Peter wants to help impart the significance of Israel as a nationand the vision for the prophetic purpose of Israel (Romans11:25-26). The only hope of real peace in Israel is Jews andArabs worshipping and ministering together in the land.

At Kehilat HaCarmel, Arab and Israeli pastors worktogether side-by-side. The foundational vision of thiscongregation is the idea of one new man, Jews, Arabs, andother gentiles worshipping together in the unity of the HolySpirit. The church has also planted two completely Arabicspeaking congregations.

Beit Nitzachon has also shown fruits of its labors. AnIsraeli drug addict went through the rehabilitation programand succeeded. Later, a militant Arab who was trained forsuicide bombings enrolled in the drug rehabilitation program. The recovered Israeli helped the Arab through hisrehabilitation, and both became friends.

Peters latest book, Gods Tsunami tells of Gods movethroughout the earth. A tsunami is a very large ocean wavecaused by an underwater earthquake. Peter says GodsTsunami is the move of the Gospel expanding in a westwarddirection. From the time of the Apostle Paul, Peter shows thatGod directed Paul to preach the Gospel to the west. Peterchronicles how the Gospel has moved west into Europe and hasbeen moving steadily westward to this day. Though Paulsministry only took him as far as Rome, the Gospel hascontinued to spread to Europe, then to America. From there itmoved to Asia (the 10/40 window) and will circle back toIsrael-where it all started, will be the end of the line in thewestern sweep of world evangelization. Jerusalem is Godschosen place for the return of the Messiah. This message isdescribed in Scripture. The passage Peter references is Romans11:25, where Israels revival will follow the fullness of Godsharvest among all nations and is the chief requirement forChrists return.
