    Why is it important?

Everyone learn differently, by knowing how

you learn the best will help you to determine,

where, when and how you study:

For example, Ariel is a musical learner, she

learned better when she sings or listen to a

    song when she is studying.

    Activity 1:

On a piece of paper, write down your last years

    result.

Write down the most problematic area that you

    faced in each subject.

Allocate 2 hours of your time for each areas, add

up all the hours you need to study each subject.

If you do it right, the subject with the worst scorewill have more problematic areas and you will

need to spend more time on those areas.

Based on this, it is easier for you and your

parents to do a study schedule.

This will also enable you to set a target for

    yourself.

    Set a target for yourself

After you know your strengths and

weaknesses, you can start working on your

target. Ask yourself how many As can you get?

Never be afraid to set a high target for

yourself but you need to be clear on how you

    can achieve it.

How to help yourself reach a target?

Test yourself with past years papers/forecast papers.

Write down your target on the front page of the paper.

Try to do the paper without any help, just like in the

examination (but first, try to do some revision!). Ask your parents/teachers to check the answer for you.

Compare your target with your score.

Re-read the questions and do revision on questions

that are wrong. Re-do the papers again and see how you improved.
