Population- The human element

Relationships- The people and places

Landforms

(the physical earth)- Mountains, hills - Plateaus, plains- Elevation

Climate- Refers to the usual pattern of

weather events that occurs in an area over a long period of time

- Is determined by distance from the Equator, by location near large bodies of water and sometimes by positions near mountain ranges
