  • Invest in Rover! As we continue our 2008-09 Season, Rover Dramawerks continues to experience incredible growth! We are in our ninth year of production, presenting six exciting full length mainstage shows (our next one a World Premiere in the Courtyard Theater!) and two One Day Only 24-hour play festivals, not to mention all of our classes (for kids and adults). However, with growth comes more expense, and we need your help. Ticket sales cover only a small part of the cost of a production. Wont you consider making a tax deductible donation to Rover Dramawerks? We will be forever in your debt. Rover is also looking for people who want to help get the word out about Rover to sponsors, philanthropists, and organizations throughout Plano and the surrounding communities. Please contact Artistic Director Carol M. Rice at [email protected] for more information. (Feel free to send email to Ms. Rice with kudos, questions, or concerns about anything Rover related, too!) Or if you just want to enjoy the show, that's great! We need and appreciate your support and hope to see you in our audience again soon. Be sure to buy your season tickets! And please join us on Thursday, January 29 after the show at the ArtCentre of Plano (just down the street) for a reception with the cast, director, and designers, as well as many of the Rover Board. Wed love to get to know you! These receptions are every Second Thursday of each show, so mark your calendars now!

Who's Who Jenifer Balch is proud to be serving as the newly elected President of the Board for Rover Dramawerks. By day, Jenifer assists clients with legal needs arising in a variety of contexts with the firm of Curran Tomko Taski LLP. While Jenifer has no desire to be on stage, she has developed an unexpected passion for producing; this is her second show as a producer. As producer, Jenifer is able to utilize her full geekness in organization! Jenifer is thankful for the personal support of her Rover friends as well as that of her son Daniel and her friend Michelle. Joe Cucinotti (pronounced KOO-CHIN-NAUGHTY...YEAH BABY!) returns for his third show with Rover. He was last seen working as the AD/SM for An Infinite Ache directed by Lisa Devine. Some of Joes previous roles include his award-winning portrayal of Eddie McCuen in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 for Allen High School. There was also his chilling depiction of Eddie McCuen in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 for Garland Civic Theatre. And let us not forget his whimsical work as Eddie McCuen in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 for Rover Dramawerks. (Can you say "diversity"?) Every weeknight for the past nine years, Mr. Cucinotti has been heard on Mix 102.9 where he worked under the name Joe Kelly. He has recently finished writing his first stage musical entitled The Rise and Fall of Radio Through the Eyes of Rose Kelly, which he will be self-producing/directing later this year. He sends a very warm thanks to his friends and family for their unwavering support. And a special thanks to his fellow cast and crew for such a killer time. Joey Folsom is pursuing a BA in Theater Performance at the University of North Texas and is delighted to be working with Rover. Hes been seen on stage as Johnny Pat in The Cripple of Inishmaan, Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream for Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Georgie in Jesus Hates Me at Kitchen Dog, Eddie in Fool for Love and most recently as Donner in The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, bo
