C.A.R. THEMES AND PROJECTS

Maryland C.A.R. NSCAR

State Theme Preserving History

Together with Maryland C.A.R.

The 2018-2019 state project is to restore some of the Rising Sun

Inn in Crownsville, MD

National Theme America’s Lasting

Legacy The 2018–2019 national project

is to raise funds for A

Warrior’s Wish, a program furnished by Hope for The Warriors and to volunteer.

Remember to join the national C.A.R. Bloggers and post something you attended at:

NATIONAL PROJECT - AMERICA’S LASTING LEGACY

America’s Lasting Legacy

Honoring American heroes past and present through volunteering, collecting items to send to deployed service members, and raising funds to support injured veterans.

The National Project, America’s Lasting Legacy, has two goals. The first is to raise funds for A Warrior’s Wish, a program furnished by Hope for The Warriors, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of America’s heroes. Hope for the Warriors supports severely wounded United States veterans, as defined by the United States Department of Defense. A Warrior’s Wish offers financial assistance to those injured veterans and their families to aid in the transition from active duty to civilian life. Veterans’ wishes range

across all boundaries; they wish for handicap-accessible home renovations, new household equipment, or alleviate new financial pressures associated with raising children.

Members will pursue a second, joint goal as they volunteer and serve their communities and local veterans. Members continually affirm our commitment to “ascertain the deeds and honor the memories of the men, women, and children who rendered service to the American

Revolution.” This project offers a prime way to extend that commitment past our Revolutionary War patriots. N.S.C.A.R. is devoted to ascertaining the deeds and honor the memories of all individuals who rendered service to the American dream, especially those who sacrifice so much. Volunteering offers a way to keep that spirit alive – a way to better the communities in which we live, work, and learn.

The National President’s program is a collection of all the best parts of C.A.R. Join us as we honor America’s heroes in the celebration of America’s Lasting Legacy.
