    MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN

HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE IN TEHRAN, IRAN

    1

  • In the name of AllahThe Beneficent, The Merciful……

    As salaam alaikumDear Reader

I pray you are well and in the best of health and spirit.Welcome to the December 2018 (no. 44) issue of the Starand Crescent Magazine.

Once again, we are in the season of Thanksgiving, BlackFriday, Cyber-Monday, Christmas and New Year sales onevery High Street in the UK, as department stores launchtheir Christmas campaigns to persude shoppers to spendtheir money and buy more and more presents for oneanother.

It is also a time of excessive food and alcoholic drinksconsumption. Restaurants will be very busy catering forChristmas lunches. There will be Christmas parties held inhomes, schools, pubs, offices and workplaces and all in thename of Jesus, and people playing secret Santa.

Let us be real today. Can the Black community afford tocontinue to play and party at Christmas knowing fully thattoo many lives have been lost to stabbings and knife crimethis year? Should we continue the same business as usualin 2019 or are we going to change?

As long as Black people participate in these festivities, wewill remain divided. There may be more casualties in ourcommunity until we all accept who our open enemy is, whathis holidays represent, what damage has been done to usfor over 400 years, and the remedies we apply to freeourselves.

We can begin by joining an organisation that is workingpositively for the upliftment of Black people. It can be aneconomic or educational, or a campaign for social justice. Our great divide has caused a rift in our community that it isvery difficult but not impossible for us to do what othercommunities take for granted. The Honourable ElijahMuhammad teaches us ‘Self first. Then others.’ Everythingelse including integration is just not working.

Its time for the Original Man to think and be original. Wesimply must pool our resources and build a lasting legacyfor our children that they can call their own. We mustsupport each other through thick and thin. Can we make adifference in 2019? Can we set goals for ourselves and oneanother? Of course we can. We can start by abstainingfrom Christmas, by supporting and spending our moneywith our own businesses first. Spread the word and keepthe campaign going.

  • Minister Louis Farrakhan

Final Call News: The Honourable Minister Louis Farrakhandelivers a powerful message in Tehran, Iran, during a pressconference   at  Press   TV’s  headquarters  on  8  November2018.

The Honourable Minister  Louis Farrakhan:  AsSalaamAlaikum [Peace be upon you].  Bismillah,  arRahman,  arRahim. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Ibear witness that there is no God but He. And we thankHim in America for Allah’s intervention in our affairs in thePerson of Master Fard Muhammad, the Great Mahdi, Whocame   among   us   to   start   us   in   the   process   of   beingresurrected   from   a   mental,   moral,   spiritual,   economic, political, cultural, and social death that we can stand beforeyou   today   as   Muslims,   as   our   fathers   when   they   werebrought   out   of   Africa   —   many   of   them   were   alreadyMuslims.

But  the enemies of  Islam knew that  if  we kept our  faith, they could never make us permanent slaves. So the aim ofthe enemy was to strip us of our names, our language, ourculture, our history, our religion, our God, and grow us up inAmerica with no knowledge of  self,  no knowledge of  ourorigin  in  this world.  But  thanks for  the coming of  MasterFard Muhammad and raising up among us the HonourableElijah Muhammad, I can come before you today and sayAsSalaam Alaikum and my name is no longer the slavename that  I  once had.  I  didn’t   realize when my Teachernamed me Farrakhan that he was subtly connecting me toyou.

Sayyid Ali Hosseini KhameneiSupreme Leader of Iran

I’m exceedingly honoured  to be here at   this  time.  And  Iwant to thank the Supreme Leader,  Ayatollah Khamenei, for the privilege of an audience with him. I want to thank myhost,   the   Expediency   Discernment   Council,   Dr   MohsenRezaei and Dr Fouad Izadi, who extended the invitation tome   to   come  to   Iran  at   this   time  to  deliver  a   speech atTehran University.

    Dr Mohsen Rezaei

I also was invited to the holy city of Qom to speak to thestudents   there   and   to   meet   with   the   Grand   AyatollahMakarem Shirazi.  And my  stay,  and  our   stay,  has  beenvery,  very  rewarding.  And I   thank the people of   Iran,  allthose   with   whom   we   had   contact,   for   their   wonderful, brotherly reception of us.

    Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi

I   must   say,   I   have   not   enjoyed   reading   the   presscommentary  on  my  visit  here.  But   I  guess   I   should  notexpect   any   different   from   a   Zionistcontrolled   press,especially my being in the Islamic Republic of Iran. I wantto thank Brother Taleb Zadeh and his lovely wife, Zainab,for their help of us since we have been in the Republic.

    3

  • Allah says  in  the Quran  that  the people who have beenwriting about me — it says they altered the word of Allahafter   they  knew  it out  of   its  place   [HQ 2:7579;  4:4446;5:41]. So if they would alter the word of God Himself, whatchance   do  I have   that   my   word,   my   character,   myreputation would not be altered by these same Satans?

What  is  it   that you  fear about Louis Farrakhan? It  is thatGod has blessed us to know the truth of Shaitan [Satan]?This   is   the   day   that   Shaitan   must   be   unmasked   andrevealed to the world. That mission has been given to me.It’s a very dangerous assignment. But Satan, or Shaitan,has deceived the whole world.  In the Quran [HQ 7:1218],Allah   is   having   a   discussion   with   Satan,   and   Satan   issaying to God, Because You have judged me as one whois erring and caused me to remain disappointed, I am goingto lie in wait for  them in your straight path and I will makeall of them deviate. And Allah said, whoever follows you,  Iwill certainly fill hell with you all.

What is the straight path of God? Is it not the truth of Hisrevelation   that   has   inspired   Judaism,   Christianity,   andIslam? So Satan has poisoned Judaism, Christianity, andIslam,   and   that   is   why   Imam   Mahdi   has   to   come   toexpose Satan  and  cleanse and  purify religion   that  we  ashuman   beings   may   once   again   be   as   we   should   be,brothers and sisters in love with one another.

Minister Louis Farrakhan addresses the Million Man March 1995

Allah has guided us. And 23 years ago I was blessed to bethe   one   through   whom   the   Million   Man   March   wasorganized in America, where through my voice I called for amillion   and   nearly   two   million   Black   men   showed   up   inWashington, DC, for the Million Man March.

I pray that the translation will be as I say it, and if you areinterested in all that I have said since I have been in thiscountry,   it   will   be   made   available   to   you.   My   privatemeetings and my public meetings —  if it   is  granted, youmay have it. Because whatever I say in private, I am notafraid to say it in the public.

The  theme of   the   Million   Man   March   was   based   on   3principles.   Atonement,   reconciliation,   and   responsibility.And I have used those three principles all over the world totry to bring together disparate groups who belong as one.

    Million Man March 1995

But   atonement   means   that   we   must   acknowledge   ourwrong to one another, seek atonement for the wrong, askforgiveness for the wrong, and reconcile our differences sothat we may stand as a united front in the face of Shaitan.

The Muslim world   is   in  deep  trouble.  The Muslim worldneeds a   process   that   will   cause   us   to   reconcile   ourdifferences and come together as one ummah. In that waySatan will never destroy our nations and our community aslong as we resolve our differences and come together asone ummah, one community.

I am here at this moment in time because my Brothers andSisters here are facing the wrath of  the President of  theUnited   States   and   the   government   of   America   in   theseharsh sanctions that are being imposed on the governmentand people of Iran. The world said they did not want Iran topossess   nuclear   weapons,   so   an   agreement   was   madebetween  the government of   the  Islamic Republic of   Iran, the government of the United States of America, England,France, Germany, China, and Russia.

Every   investigative   body   during   the   years   of   this   treatyarrangement said that Iran had never violated one aspectof that agreement. In America, they said that they gave Iranbillions of dollars but they never said that they were holdingover a $150 billion dollars of Iranian money and they weresupposed to give it back during the treaty arrangement —but  has   Iran  gotten   that  money back  yet?  Can anybodyanswer that question for me? Iran fulfilled what she signedto do on that paper, but America has not.

    President Donald Trump

And with the advent of our new president, President DonaldTrump, he did not like the arrangement, so unilaterally heripped it up and now has imposed, according to what I haveread, the harshest sanctions ever imposed on  any nation.Allah says in the Quran [HQ 17:64]: the devil promises onlyto deceive.

    4

  • So here we are. Why did you come, Farrakhan? Becausethis   is   my   family,   along   with   my   family   in   America,   myfamily  in Africa, my family  in the Caribbean, my family inAsia. Though I am  born in America, I am a citizen of theworld because of  my Islam. As the hurricanes destroyedparts of Texas, and Florida, and Puerto Rico, wherever wecould offer our help to our Brothers and Sisters and thosewho were white,  or  Asian,  or  Hispanic,  we did  what  wecould   to   help.   So   why   should   not   we   come   to   Iran   toencourage the believers, to strengthen them, to encouragethem that Allah is trying us but  if we are steadfast undertrial,   we   will   surely   get   the   favour   of   God   and   wewill be victorious.

So my enemies are saying that maybe I should stay in Iran,not come back to America. I want to warn you, you speakas the foolish: America is mine. America is ours. Our sweatand   our   blood  built America.   How  dare you say   that   wehave no  place  there.  How  dare you say   that  we cannotcriticize your evil and point it out to  you.   I am more of apatriot than most of you who bow down to evil and it is onlytruth that will make America better. And I  speak that truthand I will be back in America to speak it again.

I warn you in the name of The Two that back me — ImamMahdi and alMassi, the Messiah — I’m coming home,  toface  whatever  you  have  for  me,  but   I  hope you will   beready to face whatever my backers have for you. Now youmay ask me your questions.

Question:  By a reporter of IRIB News Agency, “What doyou think about US foreign policy in [the] Middle East?”

MLF: When you are a drug addict, you say whatever youneed to say, do whatever you need to do, to satisfy youraddiction. The Middle East is rich, rich, rich with oil.  Andany great industrial nation is in need of the fuel that fuelsthe industry of that nation. America and England and othershave always wanted  access to the oil  of  this region, andtheir foreign policy is aimed at that objective.

Dr Mohammad MossadeghPrime Minister of Iran 1951  1953

In   Iran,   Mohammad   Mossadegh,   in   a   democraticallyfostered election, became the head of Iran, and he wanted

the oil that comes from the earth in Iran to be of benefit toevery citizen of Iran to give those citizens a decent qualityof life. So the policy of my country became the idea to getMossadegh out of the way, which a CIA plot did overthrowMossadegh and give you in his place the Shah of Iran.

Mohammad Reza PahlaviThe Shah of Iran (reign 1941 – 1979)

Through the Shah of Iran the oil became a  possession ofAmerica and the west, and the Shah was rich and powerful, and those that went along were rich, but the Iranian peoplesuffered. People who did not like what was going on werepersecuted,  put   to  death,  and  among   them was  a  mannamed Khomeini. He was exiled from his home into Turkeyand   France   and   Syria   and   Iraq,   but   39   years   ago   thestudents   erupted,   because   while   he   was   away   he   wasmaking   cassette   tapes   and  spreading   his  word   and   theword was taking root in the Iranian people and the IranianRevolution began.

    King SalmanSaudi Arabia

Now,   if   we   fastforward   to   2018,   the   policy   of   ourgovernment   as   brought   to   Saudia   Arabia   by   PresidentTrump, who asked the king of Arabia, King Salman, to callall the Sunni nations together in Riyadh and he would comeand   address   them.   And  when   President  Trump  went   toRiyadh, I saw him with pictures of new jet fighter planes, showing it  to the king. And then they announced a $110

    5

  • billiondollar   sale  of  weapons   to  Saudi,   the  United  ArabEmirates, billions of dollars for weapons. But if you listencarefully   to  his  speech,  he was  making  toxic the divisionbetween Sunni and Shia and aiming those weapons subtlytoward Iran and then openly saying to all of those nationsthey should reject their brother, Iran.

    The Honourable Elijah Muhammad

My Teacher, the Honourable Elijah Muhammad, taught meyears ago that the policies of our government would bringabout a war in the Middle East that would be a trigger tothe   greatest   war   that   has   ever   been,   the   War   ofArmageddon, spoken of in the Bible. My teacher wrote anarticle warning America in a time of great confusion overwho   is   going   to   be   president   —   either   a   Democraticpresident or a Republican — and we saw that played outtwo years ago.

And the Honourable Elijah Muhammad taught us that wewere living in that which is called the lull before the storm. No matter who wins the election, that President would haveto guide America through the most difficult   time  in worldaffairs.   Mr   Trump   is   that   leader  today.   And   ElijahMuhammad taught me that I should say to him, you wouldbe wise, Mr Trump, to delay the storm as long as you can.Because   the   longer   the  storm  is  delayed   is   to  not  onlyAmerica’s advantage but is to the advantage of the world.

These sanctions are the predicate for a new war. A reporterasked   my   teacher,   “Is   America   going   to   remain   in   theMiddle East?” And my teacher said,  America  is going tocome out of the Middle East. And when they asked aboutwar,   he   said   yes,   there   would   be   war.   And   he   saidbloodshed in this area would be much. I am begging ourpresident and the government that supports him to be very, very careful because if the trigger of war in the Middle Eastis pulled by you using your surrogates at the insistence ofIsrael,  then the war will trigger another kind of war, whichwill bring China, Russia, all of the nations into a war.

And it bothers me to say this to you, Mr President, but thewar   will   end   America   as   you   know   it.   So   when   theseIranians chant “death to America, death to Israel,” no chantcan bring about your death, but it is your policies that areeroding  trust for   you   in   the   world,  favour for   you   in   theworld. And now you’re pulling apart, confused. And if you

do  this,  you will  bring about  — not   the  Iranian chant  —you will  bring about   the death of   the greatest  nation thathas  been  on   this  earth   in   the   last  6,000  years.   I  am awarner to you. I am a friend to America, not an enemy. Butif you do not heed the warning and correct your path, deathwill come.

My host tells us that there are many questions, so they’veasked me to make my answers short, but if you listen towhat   I’ve   said   I’ve   answered   most   all   your   questionsalready. But you may ask and I’ll do my best to answer veryshort.

Question:  “Minister   Farrakhan,   I’m   from   Fars   NewsAgency. I would like to ask you,  ‘What has the Nation ofIslam done so far to disclose the smear campaign of theUnited States against Iran and what has it done so far forthe   Muslims   that   have   been   suffering   in   Yemen   andSyria?’”

You know, my dear Sister, truth is the best weapon againsta  false smear.  You  just  heard me. The Quran says [HQ21:1718]:  Had   We   wished   to   take   a   pastime   beforeOurselves, We would have done it. Nay, We cast Truthat   falsehood till  We knock out   its  brains.  That   is  myassignment, to speak Truth. The smear that’s on you is thesmear that’s on me. So all of us who want change, if weare too cowardly to write the truth, too cowardly to speakthe truth, too cowardly to live for the truth, and too cowardlyto  die   for   the  establishment of   the  truth,   then you’re   toocowardly to have the smear removed from you.

May I respectfully say what is going on in Yemen is a crimeagainst humanity. American planes, American bombs arebeing used. What is going on with the Rohingya Muslims isa crime. What is going on with the Uighur Muslims in Chinais  a  crime.  Wherever  Muslims are  persecuted,  whereverhuman   beings   are   persecuted,   there   has   to   be   anuprising against  persecution.   Because   persecution   isworse, the Quran [HQ 2:191] says, than slaughter.

We must arise. We must throw a stone that we have in ourhand against  persecution,  against   the wickedness of   thetyranny of  governments.  Speak  the  truth,   if  you know  it!Rise against it, if you can! But  everybody who loves truthand   seeks   justice   and   peace   must   rise   up   against   theforces of evil, injustice, and falsehood. Nobody outside cando it for you if you’re not willing to do it for yourself.

The power of the press. What good is a press if the presswon’t  write   truth.   If  we  are  afraid   to  speak   the   truth,   to

    6

  • correct anything that is wrong in government — that’s thebeauty  of   the  press.  Nobody  can  give you  that  courage.You must have the courage to speak truth to bring aboutthe change that you seek. Next question please.

Minister Louis FarrakhanIran Press Conference November 2018

Press TV correspondent:  “‘Death to the United States’   isnot a slogan chanted by the Iranian government against theUS government or the US people, but it’s a slogan chantedby the Iranian people against the American leaders.”

    Minister Louis Farrakhan: I know.

Press TV correspondent:  “So, and it’s not just about the1979 Islamic revolution, but it’s way back before if you turnthe   pages   of   history   back   to   1953,   and   you   clearlymentioned it when the United States reinstated monarchyin Iran, so it’s clear that the Iranian people have a, had avery dark memory about what the United States did backthen.   So   ‘Death   to   the   United   States’   is   not   a   sloganchanted  by   the  government,  so   the  United  States,   [if]   itwants   to   reimpose   sanctions,   it’s   reimposing  sanctionsagainst the Iranian people, not the Iranian government.”

Minister Louis Farrakhan at the Iran Press conference

    Minister Farrakhan: That’s correct.

Press TV correspondent: “So the western media outlets, especially   the United States media outlets,  are accusingyou these days of  leading ‘Death to the United States.’  Ijust read a couple of news items about you and how thewestern media is accusing you of chanting the ‘Death  tothe United States.’ I want to ask you this question, Wouldyou — are you willing to chant the slogan of ‘Death to theUnited States,’ because you are a person who is living inthe United States and you are a person who is exposed to

Minister Farrakhan: No, I will not do that. I will not do that.I would ask, who sent you to ask that question? You seemto   be   one   of  those who   are  paid at   Press   TV   toprovoke that.   That’s   not  my chant   —   listen   to   me.   No,listen to me.   You asked me a question. Your question is,your   question.   I  heard you.   But   I   also   heard   somethingelse about you   that   I   don’t  like.   You   want  me to   chant, because they lied on me and said I led a chant. I know thatchant  came  from the  people of   Iran  and  this  sanction   iswhat’s hurting the people of Iran.

They have a right to chant it. But I am not a chanter — I’ma worker for God and the truth will undo falsehood and therighteous will win against the wicked. Not with a chant, butwith   actual   words   and   deeds.   I   just,   I   don’t   like   yourattitude, man. I don’t like that. You know, I have to say this.I’m not just listening to your questions, God is showing meyour motives. And I’m addressing with anger your motive. Iknow the question — I don’t like it. Now, I’ll take one or twomore questions, but if you have not heard me yet, then I’mwasting my time. Is there another question?

Reporter from Al Jazeera English: Nice to meet you. Sir,my question has to do with the fact that you as a civil rightsleader   yourself.   I  was  wondering  what   your   impressionswere   of   the   antigovernment,   anticorruption   economyrelated protests that we’ve seen here in Iran. And did youhave   any   discussions   about   that   during   your   visit   withofficials here?

Minister Louis Farrakhan: Thank you, al Jazeera, for yourquestion. In many of my commentaries, I was telling us tolook within ourselves. Because your focus on the west isnot hurting the west, but our  focus on  ourselves and thecorruption   that’s   eating   away   at   our  faith is   what   isweakening the ummah. So I always spoke wherever I went, that we must  look within ourselves. The greatest  jihad  isnot with somebody else. The greatest struggle is againstthe Shaitan of self that turns you away from Truth and Faithand makes  you an  instrument of   the  enemy.  Yes,   I   talkabout it  everywhere I go because the greatest enemy thatwe have is not the enemy outside — it’s the enemy within. And that’s what  the Quran warns us against,   the enemywithin. One more question please.

Question  from ABS Reporter:  “There’s  a   lively  debatehere in Iran about the extent to which religious injunctionsshould be a matter for the state and the security forces andhow   much   it   should   be   something  personal.   I   waswondering if you could speak a little on that?”

Minister   Louis   Farrakhan:   Would   you   help   me   tounderstand your question more?

Question   from   ABS   Reporter:  “For   instance,   shouldreligious obligations be something that is enforced by the

    7

  • government,   or   is   it   something   that   should   come   fromwithin?”

Minister Louis Farrakhan: The Quran has arguments forevery   occasion.   The   Quran   gives   us   laws   that   aMuslim observes not out of force from government but outof the force of conviction of faith. Whatever country you livein, there are laws. And the laws of the country are of novalue unless they are enforced by those who have the lawto enforce, and a citizen of the country should be respectfulof those laws.

So America says we are not a government of men, we area government of laws. And it is law that orders the society.This is a different experiment in Iran. If you live under theShah,   you  didn’t   live  under   the   laws of  Quran.   I  was  aChristian and I still love my Christian family and roots.

In the Nation of Islam in America, we have laws. We whobelieve in Allah and believe in the Prophet Muhammad andbelieve in our Teacher, the Honourable Elijah Muhammad,and believe in Quran, we try our best to live those laws —not by force of government but by the force of our faith.

So when you break the law, there are those who enforcethe law; we try our best to live our law because that is whatprotects the society that we have. I have watched in theMuslim world when we try to impose Sharia on a peoplethat have lived under western influence, we sometimes donot   realize you have  to  give a people who have  lived areckless, ‘free’ life [the] time to reform.

So our Teacher taught us so beautifully and he punishedus when we broke the law — not with physical harm, but hedeprived us of the right to be in our society for a time of 90days, a year if it’s adultery. But the whole idea was, to bringus up so that the law is not a burden — we learn to lovebeing righteous. And I pray, I pray that in the exercise oflaw, we do not misuse our power and authority  then webecome tyrants. So there’s a delicate balance that has tobe achieved. Thank you. I want to thank all of you.

One   last   question   from   an   ANCHOR,   Press   TV:  “Aswe’re   speaking,   actually,   there   were   live   feeds   fromInstagram, from YouTube, that are being blocked right nowas   we’re   speaking,   live   feeds   of   this   press   conference. What   is   it,   Minister   Farrakhan,   that   you   think   that   yourmessage here in the Islamic Republic of Iran that has thattype   of   effect,   that   right   now   even   this   feed   is   beingblocked?

“And what can you as an African American who’s lived inthe United States  tell   the people of   Iran who have beenfighting or trying to deal with their independence almost 40years  against   the  United  States?  What  could   they   learnfrom your experience?”

Minister Louis Farrakhan: My dear Sister, truth uncoversa lie. Truth unmasks deceit.  And when you have been adeceiver  and  this  media  has  been used  to  control  whatcomes to the masses and a man arises — not by his ownpower but by the power of God to speak the truth — thenall  of   these [pointing to  the media microphones] becomethe enemy of deceit if it’s used properly. And all of thesecan be turned against the speaker of truth.

They  fear  what   I’m saying.  They  fear   the passion  that   Ispeak the truth with. They fear that allowing the word toenter   the  ear  of   the  people unobstructed will  bring aboutthe transformation of the human mind. So truth becomesthe enemy in a world built on lies.

I’m so sorry that the people are deprived. Because onceyou   know   me   for   yourself,   you   can   judge   me  properly.Once   you  hear me   for   yourself,  you can   make   thatdetermination. And to my brother, I hope — I’m not mean tooffend  him, but, you know, to ask me to chant is to makeme   say   something   that   pleases   the   Zionist   press   thatalready took my words out of their place to make it difficultfor me to go back into my own country. So for my brother toask me to do that, and for me to even entertain it is foolishon my part, but it’s wicked on his. May God bless you all.

  • Message to the Blackman

    The Making of DevilPart 4

Of course, Mr Yakub lived but 150 years, but his ideascontinued in practice. He gave his people guidance in theform of literature. What they should do and how to do it(how to rule the Black nation). He said to them, “When youbecome unalike, you may return to the Holy Land andpeople, from whom you were exiled.”

The Yakub made devils were really pale white, with reallypale blue eyes which we think are the ugliest of colours fora human eye. They were called Caucasians – whichmeans, according to some of the Arab scholars, “Onewhose evil effect is not confined to one’s self alone, butaffects others.”

There was no good taught to them while on the Island. Byteaching the nurse to kill the black baby and save thebrown baby, so as to graft the white out of it, by lying to theBlack mother of the baby, this lie was born into the verynature of the white baby and murder for Black people wasborn into them – or made by nature a liar and murderer.

The Black nation was only fooling themselves to take theCaucasian race otherwise. This is what Jesus learned oftheir history, before he gave up his work of trying to convertthe Jews or white race to the religion of Islam. And, thesame knowledge was of them was given to Muhammad bythe Imams (or scientists) of Mecca. That is why the war ofthe Muslims against them came to a stop.

Muhammad was told that he could not reform the devilsand that the race had 1400 more years to live; the only wayto make righteous people (Muslims) out of them was tograft them back into the Black nation. This grievedMuhammad so much that it caused him heart trouble untilhis death (age 62 and one half years). The old scientistsused to laugh at Muhammad for thinking that he couldconvert them (the devils) to Islam. This hurt his heart.

Mr Yakub taught his made devils on Pelan, “That – whenyou go back to the holy black nation, rent a room in theirhomes. Teach your wives to go out the next morningaround the neighbours of the people, and tell them youheard her talking about them last night.

“When you have gotten them fighting and killing eachother , then ask them to let you help settle their disputes,

and restore peace among them. If they agree, then you willbe able to rule them both.” This method the white racepractices on the Black nation, the world over. They upsettheir peace by putting one against the other, and then rulethem after dividing them.

This is why the American so-called Negroes can neveragree on unity among themselves, which would put themon top overnight. The devils keep them divided by paidinformants from among themselves. They keep such foolsamong us. But the real truth of the devils sometimesconverts the informers, and brings them over to us as truebelievers. We don’t bother about killing them, as I am notteaching that which I want to be kept as a secret, but thatwhich the world has not known and should know.

After Yakub’s people were among the Holy people of Islam(the Black nation) for six months, they had our people atwar with each other. The Holy people were unable tounderstand, just why they could not get along in peace witheach other, until they took the matter to the King.

The King told the Holy people of the Black nation that thetrouble they were having was caused by the white devils intheir midst, and that there would be no peace among themuntil they drove these white made devils from among them.

The Holy people prepared to drive the devils out fromamong them. The King said, “Gather every one of thedevils up and strip them of their costume. Put an apron onthem to hide their nakedness. Take all literature from themand take them by way of the desert. Send a caravan, armed with rifles, to keep the devils going westward. don’tallow one of them to turn back, and if they are luckyenough to get across the Arabian Desert, let them go intothe hills of West Asia, the place they now call Europe.

Yakub’s made devils were driven out of Paradise, into thehills of West Asia (Europe) and stripped of everything butthe language. They walked across that hot, sandy desert, into the land where long years of trouble and joy awaitedthem, but – they finally made it. (Not all. Many died in thedesert).

Once there, they were roped in, to keep them out ofParadise. To make sure, the Muslims, who lived along theborders of East and West Asia were ordered to patrol theborder to keep Yakub’s devils in West Asia (now calledEurope), so that the original nation of Black men could livein peace and that the devils could be alone to themselves,do as they pleased, as long as they didn’t try crossing theEast border.

The soldiers patrolled the border armed with swords, toprevent the devils from crossing. This went on for 2,000

    9

  • years. After that time Musa (Moses) was born; the manwhom Allah would send to these exiled devils to bring themagain into the light of civilisation. Before we take up thisfirst 2,000 years of the devils exile on our planet, let us notlose sight of what and how they were made, and of the godwho made them, Mr Yakub.

Since we have learned that Mr Yakub was an original man(black) the ignorant of our people may say “If Mr Yakub wasa Black man and the father of the devils, then he was adevil.” That is like one saying “The horse is as much a muleas the mule.”

Or that an orange or lemon is as much a grapefruit as thegrapefruit, because the grapefruit is grafted from theorange and lemon. They are not alike because the graftedis no longer the original.

Just what have we learned, or rather are learning from thisdivine revelation of our enemies, the devils? Answer: Weare learning the truth, which has been kept a secret for6,000 years concerning the white race, who have deceivedus. We learn what is meant by the Bible’s symbolicteachings: that they were made from dust.

This only tends to convey the idea that they were createdfrom nothing; which means the low and humble origin ofsuch creation. Again, we learn who the Bible (Genesis1:26) is referring to in the saying: “Let us make man.” This“US” was 59,999 Black men and women making or graftingthem into the likeness or image of the original man.

Not that they are the same, but have the ways of a humanbeing they are referred to as “mankind” - not the realoriginal man, but a being made like the original in the senseof human beings.

The Holy Qur’an throws a great light on the truth of thecreation of this pale, white race of devils. “O mankind, surely we have created you from a male and a female”(Chapter 49:13). This makes it very easy to understand towhom it is referring. “What mankind?” “Surely we createdman from sperm mixed (with ovum) to try him, so we havemade him hearing and seeing” (Chapter 76:2).

In as much as these chapters have a further reference tothe spiritual creationof the Last Messenger, it is equally truethat they refer to the physical creation of the white race. Inanother place, the Holy Qur’an says, “We have createdman, and now he is an open disputer.”

    Gorilla

Yakub’s race of devils were exiled in the hills and caves ofWest Asia (now called Europe). They were without anythingto start civilisation and became savages. They remained insuch condition for 2,000 years – no guide no literature.

They lost all knowledge of civilisation. The Lord, god ofIslam, taught me that some of them tried to graftthemselves back into the Black nation, but they had nothingto go by. A few were lucky enough to make a start, and gotas far as what you call the gorilla. In fact, all of the monkeyfamily are from this 2,000 year history of the white race inEurope.

Being deprived of divine guidance for their disobedience, the making of mischief and causing bloodshed in the holynation of the original Black people by lies, they became sosavage that they lost all their sense of shame.

They started going nude as they are doing today (andleading the so-called Negroes into the very acts). Theybecame shameless. In the winter they wore animal skinsfor clothes and grew hair all over their bodies and faces likeall other wild animals.

In those days, they made their homes in the caves onhillsides. There is a whole chapter devoted to them in theHoly Qur’an. They had it very hard, trying to savethemselves from being destroyed by wild beasts whichwere plentiful at that time in Europe.

Being without a guide, they started walking on their handsand feet like all animals and learned to climb trees as wellas any of the animals. At night, they would climb up intotrees, carrying large stones and clubs, to fight the wildbeasts that would come prowling around at night, to keepthem from eating their families.

    Caves and hillsides of Europe

The next best weapon were the dogs. They tamed some ofthese dogs to live in the caves with their families, to helpprotect them from wild beasts. After a time, the dog held ahigh place among the family, because of his fearlessnessto attack the enemies of his master. Today, the dog is stillloved by the white race and is given more justice than theso-called Negroes, and is called the white man’s bestfriend. This comes from the cave days.

After 2,000 years of living as a savage, Allah raised upMusa (Moses) to bring the white race again into civilisation;to take their place as rulers, as Yakub had intended forthem. Musa became their God and leader. He broughtthem out of the caves, taught them to believe in Allah, taught them how to wear clothes, how to cook their food, how to season it with salt, what beef they should kill andeat, and how to use fire for their service. Moses taughtthem against putting the female cow under service.

    10

  • He established for them Friday as the day to eat fish, andnot to eat meat (beef) on that day. And fish is the mainmenu on fridays in many of the whites’ homes today.

They were so evil (savage) that Moses had to build a ringof fire around him at night; and he would sleep in the centreof the ring to keep the devils from harming him. They wereafraid of fire, and are still afraid of fire.

Allah said that “One day, Moses told them he was going tohave fish come up from the sea that so that tomorrow wewill have some fish.” On the next day, the fish were there.Moses had a boat load sent up from Egypt. Moses said,“See! The sea came up last night and brought us somefish.” One of the savages was smart and he said to Moses,“Where is the water?”

From then on, Moses recognised the fact that he could notjust say anything to them. He had a hard time trying tocivilise them. Once they gave Moses so much trouble thathe took a few sticks of dynamite, went up to themountainside, placed them into the ground, and went backto get those who were giving him the most trouble.

He said to them, “Stand there on the edge of this mountainand you will hear the voice of God.” They stood there about300 in number. Moses set the fuse off and it killed all ofthem.

The Imams got after moses for performing this trick on thedevils. Moses said to the Imams, “If you only knew howmuch trouble these devils give me, you would do as I do.”Moses taught the devils that if they would follow him andobey him, Allah would give them a place among the holypeople. Most of them believed Moses, just to get out of thecaves.

The Imams recognised the tremendous job Musa (Moses)had trying to civilise the savages. These enemies of therighteous Black nation of earth had to take the place as therulers and conquerors of the earth. The devils were givenknowledge and power to bring every living thing ,regardless of its kind of life, into subjection.

And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after ourlikeness: Let them have dominion over the fish of thesea; and the fowl of the air; and over the cattle, andover all the earth; and over every creeping thing thatcreepeth upon the earth.” And God said unto them, “Befruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, andsubdue it.” (Gen 1:26, 28)

The above was all necessary if the devils were to rule as aGod of the world. They must conquer, and bring intosubjection, all life upon the earth – not land life alone, butthey must subdue the sea and the like therein – mastereverything, until a greater master of God comes, whichwould mean the end of their power over the life of ourearth.

We all bear witness that the scripture quoted above refersto the Caucasian race. They are the only only people whoanswer that description and work for the past 4,000 years. They have subdued the people and most every kind ofliving thing upon the earth. God has blessed them toexercise all their knowledge, and blessed them with guides(prophets) from among our own people, and with rain andseasons of the earth.

Today, their wealth is great upon the earth. Their sciencesof worldly good have sent them, not only after the wealth of

other than their own people, but even after the lives andproperty of their own kind. They have tried to re-people(replenish) the earth with their own kind, by skillfully killingoff the Black man and miing their blood with the Blackwoman.

But the job is too big for them to ever conquer. The blacknation, including its other three colours, brown, red andyellow, outnumber the Caucasian race, eleven to one.

“God created them in His image” (Gen 1:27). They are inthe image and likeness of a human being (Black man), butare altogether a different kind of human being than that ofthe Black human beings.

Their pale white skin, their blue eyes (even disliked bythemselves) tells any Black man and woman, that in thoseblue and green eyes, there just can’t be any sincerefreindship and love for them. They are unalike and we arelike. Like repels – unalike attracts. The very characteristicsof black and white are so very different.

Black people have a heart of gold, love and mercy. Such aheart, nature did not give to the white race. This is wherethe so-called Negroes are deceived in this devil race. Theythink they have the same kind of heart, but the white raceknows better. They have kept it as a secret amongthemselves, that they may be able to deceive the Blackpeople.

They have been, and still are, successful in deceiving theBlack man, under the guise of being the ones who wantpeace, love and friendship with the world and with God – atthe same time making war with the world, to destroy peace, love and friendship of the Black nation.

A brother loves and desires for his brother what he desiresfor himself. So-called Negroes, do you have this kind oflove and desire from the white race for you? Why?Because as I have shown to yo, they are not your brothers,by nature. They are fully showing you this day, openly, thatthey are different from you and you are different from them.

Why not try making brotherly love and friendship with yourown kind first? To see you trying to integrate with the veryenemy of yours, and God, shows beyond a shadow of adoubt , that you don’t know yourself nor your enemies, orrather lost in love for our enemies, I know you who loveyour enemy, don’t like that I tell you this truth. But I can’thelp it-come what may. God has put upon me this mission, and I must do His will or burn.

Are you with me to do the will of God, or the will of the deviland the disbelieving people? I know you are, for you havelearned and are learning more truth than you have everread or will ever read. Fear not! Allah is on our side, to giveyou and me the Kingdom.

  • Up With Jesus Down With $antaBy Richard B Muhammad and Charlene Muhammad  Final Call [posted December 2016]

Holiday decorations are up,  Christmas songs  ring out   instores across the country, and “chaching” sounds emanatefrom cash registers, but don’t be fooled, because many fedup with injustice, police violence and racism are rejectingspending, commercial overkill and debt this holiday season.

    Minister Louis Farrakhan

Echoing a call by the Honourable Minister Louis Farrakhanof   the  Nation  of   Islam,  many Black  activists  and  othersagreed it’s time to boycott as Season 2 of “Up With Jesus!Down  With  Santa!”  moved  forward.  The goal   is   to   curbshopping until 2 January 2017.

By   strategically  engaging   in  economic   withdrawal,  Blackpeople can begin putting power behind their demands andbuild a new and better reality, Minister Farrakhan stated inthe run up to Justice or Else!, the 20th Anniversary of theMillion Man March in Washington, D.C. in October 2015.

“The   widespread   death,   rising   racism,   mob   attacks   andpolice   brutality   on   Black   people   coupled   with   economicdeprivation and stark poverty, requires that something mustbe immediately done to address and correct the condition. The   failure   of   the   US   government   to   give   justice   to   itsformer slaves requires that we present ourselves in unity tomake the demand for Justice or Else!” Minister Farrakhanstated.

“Let us start by not spending money we either don’t have orcannot afford during the Christmas season. Why should wemake the merchants rich by their wicked manipulation andexploitation of   the emotions of  children,  parents,   familiesand  those we  love,  with   their  pagan practices  that  havenothing to do with the celebration and observance of therighteous servant of God, Jesus?”

Take the day, the entire season, to give thanks to God forthe gift of Jesus, share that great gift of God and what hetaught, Minister Farrakhan instructed.

Advocates and organizers had been waging online and onthe ground battles  for   justice with  petitions and protests, and those have been effective, but the impact has grownwith   a   focus   on   Main   Street   [the   high   street]   andmerchants.   Minister   Farrakhan,   for   example,   called   onBlack people to pool their $1 trillion purchasing power tobuild institutions and create jobs for their people.

Justice   or   Else!   demands   an   immediate   end   to   policebrutality   and   mob   attacks   and   justice   for   the   NativeAmerican Indians, the Mexican and Latinos, for women, thepoor, the incarcerated, and veterans, and, it means land,said the Minister. “I personally believe that 2017 will be thebest year for Black people, maybe ever, because to me themost   exciting   part   is   we   have   the   ability   now   tocommunicate   with   each   other   without   asking   for   whitepeople’s   permission,”   said   Dr   Boyce   Watkins,   a   Blackauthor, economist, political analyst and entrepreneur.

    Dr Boyce Watkins

    14

  • “I  don’t   think Donald Trump is going to be as friendly  incertain   elements   of   political   justice   as   the   Obamaadministration was,” he explained. “Unfortunately, there area lot of Black people who are motivated by fear, and there’salmost nothing they’re afraid of more right now than DonaldTrump and the Trump administration. So now they realiseall   they’ve   ever   had   was   people   like   Minister   LouisFarrakhan   and   others,   who   can   provide   a   type   ofleadership that’s far more authentic to what Black peopleare trying to do.”

Economically,   Black   people   are   gaining   by   leaps   andbounds every year, due to the development of technologyand awareness, he said. They’re moving closer to a worldin which Black people will spend hundreds of billions moremoney in their own communities, support each other, andconnect   emotionally,   psychologically,   politically   andintellectually, Dr Watkins predicted.

‘Everybody boycotts us’“I   think   that   we   should   certainly   boycott   all   the   timebecause everybody boycotts us. Trade is supposed to be atwoway street, and Americans have turned it into being aoneway street. They look at us and say ‘Negroes give usall   your  money,  and we will  give  you  nothing,’  and   thatdoesn’t make any sense,” said Dr Watkins.

Boycotts   are   a   natural   reaction   for   anyone   who   has   agrievance, Dr Watkins continued. But, he said, even deeperthan that Black people could consider alternative languagethat would achieve the same result. Rather than motivatingourselves   by   rejecting   something   that   other   people   aredoing,   we   should   motivate   ourselves   by   accepting   whatwe’re doing, he argued.

“I   don’t   really   get   up   every   morning   thinking   ‘I’mma   goboycott white folks.’ I wake up every day thinking, ‘I’mmago love me some Black people, and after I get done lovingmy own people, who need so much love, I ain’t got no morelove for nobody else,’ ” Dr Watkins said.

“It’s like taking care of your own children. Does a motherget up in the morning and say, ‘I’mma boycott babysittingother  people’s  kids’  or  does she say,   ‘my kids need thebest that I can offer, and maybe if I have something left, Imight do something for your children, but I got seven kidsand I ain’t got time for all of that.’ ”

Dr Watkins said,   “It’s  not  really radical   for  us  to do  this. We’re claiming back to normalcy, because we’ve been insuch   an   abnormal,   such   an   abusive,   such   a   terroristicenvironment, we’ve really endured the equivalent of a Naziholocaust   every   year   for   400   years,   and   even   peoplewho’ve gone through what we’ve gone through for just 5 or6   years   or   were   traumatized   for   an   entire   century,   soimagine what we’re feeling?”

Perhaps   people   could   come   up   with   another   term   forboycott, Dr Watkins said. There is one. It’s called the BuyBlack Movement. The movement recognizes Black peopleare linked to great economists, even postslavery, such asBlack Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Black businessowners’   economy   boasted   $2   million   a   day,   that   todaywould be the equivalent of $25 billion, said Student MinisterTony Muhammad,  the Nation of   Islam’s Western RegionRepresentative.

A white mob burned the area in Tulsa’s Greenwood Districtto the ground in 1921 during race riots. The only remnant ofBlack Wall Street is a memorial brick holding all the namesof the businesses burned, he said.

    Student Minister Tony Muhammad

“I   didn’t   realize   that   that   area   was   so   vast,   it   was   sothriving, that we had our own transit system. There was abrother who was manufacturing and making buses. Theywere   manufacturing,   yes,   their   own   cars.   Black   people,their own airplanes. Black Wall Street, they had hospitals.They had schools. They had manufacturing plants in everydirection,   they   owned   it   all.   Banks,   theatres,”   TonyMuhammad said.

The Millennials love the Buy Black Movement because theyview this as an opportunity to hit  back at oppression, heexplained. In addition to supporting Black business, there

    15

  • are entrepreneurs focused on creating Black businesses.Tag Team Marketing is one of those efforts and part of theBuy Black Movement.

Delxino and Deborah Wilson De Briano

Founded by Delxino and Deborah Wilson De Briano, TagTeam   focuses   on   building   Black   economic   power.   “Wehave   come   to   realize   that   the   only   way   our   race   willadvance   economically   is   by   Black   people   buying   fromBlackowned businesses, on a massive scale,” Tag TeamMarketing said.

“That means we aim to help create so many prosperousBlackowned businesses, and create  levels of  productionso high, that the Black community becomes permanentlywealthy and nothing, not even a bad economy, can bringus down,” the company added.

    Dr Melina Abdullah

“I   think   it’s   important   to   highlight   the   building   work   thatpeople are doing, so not just the disruption,” said Dr MelinaAbdullah, an organiser with Black Lives Matter Los Angelesand   chair   of   the   Pan   African   Studies   Department   atCalifornia State University Los Angeles.

Disrupt and build: A dual strategyBlack  Lives  Matter  uses  a  disrupt  and  build  model,   shesaid,  and a  lot of  what’s been covered has been on thedisruption,   and   that’s   important   as   it   confronts   whitesupremacist, patriarchal capitalism.

“We have to disrupt it. If we think about what this system is,the election of Donald Trump really embodies that system,and so we have to be active. We have to engage. We haveto   disrupt,   and,   at   the   same   time,   we   have   to   buildalternative models,” Dr Abdullah said.

“If   we   think   about   what   we’re   doing   now   and   workbackwards, we are in a period of Black XMAS, where we’resaying we have to divest from white corporations while atthe same time build our own economic power,” she said.

    Blacking Black Business

It   comes  in  part  out  of  a  monthlong  survey  of  nationalBlackowned businesses. It will feature an interactive maphighlighting   Blackowned   businesses   and   Blackledcommunity organisations.

“We also want to shake people from this idea that we haveto spend, spend, spend. We can also use our dollars  toinvest   in   Black   communities,”   she   said.   Handing   outeconomic  punishment   is  a  way   to  strike  at   the  heart  ofAmerica   —   hit   businesses   who   influence   and   bankrollpoliticians to press for change.

    Carmen Perez

Groups  like  the Justice League of  New York,  Justice OrElse! Chicago, and Black Lives Matter in Los Angeles tookto the streets over the Black Friday weekend. “When we’retalking about the economic shutdown, we’re talking aboutstopping corporations from getting our money, right? So,we’ve got to go to the stores that don’t care about us, don’tcare   about   people   of   colour,”   said   Carmen   Perez,   cofounder of the Justice League of New York.

In Chicago, activists and demonstrators disrupted shoppingon   the   Michigan   Avenue   retail   strip   dubbed   “The

    16

  • Magnificent Mile” the day after Thanksgiving. According tothe Chicago Tribune, the Black Friday protests in Chicagohad a significant impact, to the tune of a 2550% drop inretail   sales   for   various   retailers.   “We   were   down   a   lot,”Sarah Midoun, a sales associate at Aldo shoe store, toldthe newspaper. “We were budgeted to make $37,000 butwe   only   did   $19,000   —   customers   told   us   they   wereconcerned.”

Other   stores  affected   included  Men’s  Warehouse,  whichmade   less   than   $10,000   on   Black   Friday   this   yearcompared   to   $19,000   last   year.   Highend   shoe   retailerStuart Weitzman projected to make as much as $50,000this year, saw sales more than $20,000 short of the goal.Garmin, a manufacturer of GPS devices, said its  instoreBlack Friday sales were down by as much as 40% becauseof the Michigan Avenue protests.

According   to   the   National   Retail   Federation,   consumersspent   less money  this year   than  they did  in  2015. Also,while online shopping went up, brickandmortar operationssaw a decrease of  3  million  instore shoppers  this  year,compared to last. Research firm ShopperTrak revealed thatnationwide, overall instore sales fell 10% from $11.6 billionin 2015 to $10.4 billion in 2016.

The National  Retail  Federation  reported  consumer spentabout $10 less on average in 2016 — about $290 this yearcompared   to   nearly   $300   in   2015.   The   federation   alsoattributed spending success to discounted sales, with about36% of 2016 shoppers saying all of their purchases wereon sale versus 32.5% of shoppers  last  year.  Guns werealso a big seller, according to sales surveys.

Strategic and socially conscious shoppingCassiopeia Sledge of TheBlackMall.com, a Chicagobasedwebsite that sells Blackowned goods and services, seeschange on the horizon. “There’s been a surge of interest inpeople   buying   Black   and   [doing   business   with]   popupshops   ready   to   serve   them,”   she  said.  Her   “Buy  Black”message may have once seemed somewhat radical,  butthe tide has turned, she said.

AntiTrump   activists   have   joined   the   fray,   with   an   appdesigned to  highlight  companies owned by or  connectedwith   controversial   Presidentelect   Donald   Trump.   The#GrabYourWallet movement, launched in October, includesapproximately 65 companies  that can be targeted  for analignment   the   Trumps.   Some   of   the   most   notablecompanies   included   on   the   spreadsheet   were   Amazon,Nike, New Balance, Home Depot,  Sears,  Nordstrom andBloomingdales.

    Cassiopeia Sledge (left)

In his article,   “Want  to Protest Trump? Nix Black Friday,#CancelXmas   Shopping,”   Tom   Ewing   encouragedprotestors   to   forget   taking   to   streets   to   denounce   theelection   of   Donald   Trump   to   the   presidency.   Mr   Ewingwrote   that   the   only   way   to   protest   Trump   is   to   stopshopping.

“It might be the only weapon left,” he said. The DemocraticCoalition  Against  Trump created  a   “Boycott  Trump”  appwhich lists businesses that have been linked to Trump andhelps people avoid spending money with those companies.

As the holiday season draws to a close, the deals and thedoor busters are liable to grow and the ads will tug at heartstrings, hoping to undo purse strings. But if you reject thehype, you can save yourself postholiday debt blues andstrike a blow for freedom.

As activists  and advocates have declared:  We’ve  got   tostop financing our own oppression.

  • 'Destroyed': In Paradise, California,entire community of 27,000 was

    ordered to evacuate

PARADISE, Calif. — Nearly 30,000 people were forced toevacuate on Thursday when a wildfire roared through thisCalifornia town, located about 180 miles northeast of SanFrancisco.

In   less   than  24  hours,   the  Camp Fire   torched  Paradisehomes,  — businesses,   supermarkets,   restaurants  and  aretirement   home   —   was   left   "pretty   much...destroyed,"California Fire Capt. Scott McLean said.

By Friday morning,   the area  remained under  siege, withreports that two large fires had burned 15,000 acres andwere threatening multiple communities, with 75,000 homesunder evacuation orders.

The National Weather Service has issued redflag warningsfor fire dangers in many areas of the state, cautioning thatthe low humidity and strong winds fueling the blaze couldcontinue through the evening.

The   scale   of   property   damage   is   not   yet   known,   andemergency responders say they have unconfirmed reportsof deaths. County Cal Fire Chief  Darren Read said at  anews conference that at least two firefighters and multipleresidents were injured.

“It’s  a  very  dangerous and very serious  situation,”  ButteCounty Sheriff Kory Honea said. “We’re working very hardto get people out. The message I want to get out is: If youcan evacuate, you need to evacuate."

Several evacuation centers were set up in nearby towns, including   at   the   Butte   County   Fairgrounds   in   Gridley,Church   of   the   Nazarene   in   Oroville   and   NeighborhoodChurch  in Chico.  Neighborhood Church  filled  to  capacityThursday afternoon. As the fire raged, witnesses describedfrantic efforts to escape from a fastmoving, allconsumingblaze.

“We were surrounded by fire, we were driving through fireon each side of the road,” said police officer Mark Bass, aChico police officer who lives in Paradise. “It was just a wallof fire on each side of us, and we could hardly see the roadin front of us.”

Brynn   Chatfield   was   one   of   the   residents   forced   toevacuate.   After   fleeing   Paradise   with   her   husband,   sheposted   a   harrowing   video   on   Facebook,   detailing   theirescape.

“We were driving south in the northbound lane on Skywaytoward   Chico,”   she   told   the   Record   Searchlight   onThursday afternoon. “I saw a lot of brave people trying todirect   traffic   and   do   what   they   could   to   help   others,”Chatfield said.

She said  the winddriven fire was spreading so fast   thatemergency personnel were hustling to get people out of thechaotic scene. Emergency personnel couldn’t tell where thefire was going “because it was everywhere,” she said.

Sherri  Pritchard,  who also evacuated,  said she only  hadtime to grab a few pictures before fleeing with her familyand dogs. They didn't even have time to grab clothes.

    18

  • "It   was   crazy,   because   when   we   were   sitting   in   trafficpeople were panicking," she said. "It was chaos. I couldn'tbelieve what people were doing."

Governorelect Gavin Newsom, who is acting as governorbecause Gov.  Jerry  Brown was out  of  state,  declared  astate of emergency in Butte County. Schools in all of ButteCounty   are   cancelled   Friday,   Butte   County   SheriffKory Honea said.

Honea said hundreds of calls have come in were reportingpeople trapped or requesting welfare checks, but that lawenforcement is prioritizing people's safety over requests tosimply check on someone or see whether they got out.

People searching for information also took to social media, attracting the attention of actor James Woods, who startedthe   hashtag   #CampFireJamesWoods   and   used   hismassive   Twitter   following   to   connect   those   seekinginformation about   their   loved ones  to  anyone who mighthave it.

Ron Angle, a longtime former volunteer firefighter, said hehasn't seen a fire in the area as severe as the Camp Fire inhis nearly 40 years there and noted how extreme the windwas.

"I suspect the residential and commercial structure loss willbe catastrophic," he said.

    The Honourable Elijah Muhammad

What the Muslims want 1. We want freedom. We want a full and completefreedom.

    2. We want justice. Equal justice under the law. We wantjustice applied equally to all, regardless of creed or class orcolour.

    3. We want equality of opportunity. We want equalmembership in society with the best in civilized society.

    4. We want our people in America whose parents orgrandparents were descendants from slaves, to be allowedto establish a separate state or territory of their own–eitheron this continent or elsewhere. We believe that our formerslave masters are obligated to provide such land and thatthe area must be fertile and minerally rich. We believe thatour former slave masters are obligated to maintain andsupply our needs in this separate territory for the next 20 to25 years – until we are able to produce and supply our ownneeds. Since we cannot get along with them in peace andequality, after giving them 400 years of our sweat andblood and receiving in return some of the worst treatmenthuman beings have ever experienced, we believe ourcontributions to this land and the suffering forced upon usby white America, justifies our demand for completeseparation in a state or territory of our own.

    5. We want freedom for all Believers of Islam now held infederal prisons. We want freedom for all Black men andwomen now under death sentence in innumerable prisonsin the North as well as the South. We want every Blackman and woman to have the freedom to accept or rejectbeing separated from the slave master’s children andestablish a land of their own. We know that the above planfor the solution of the Black and white conflict is the bestand only answer to the problem between two people.

    6. We want an immediate end to the police brutality andmob attacks against the so-called Negro throughout theUnited States. We believe that the Federal governmentshould intercede to see that Black men and women tried inwhite courts receive justice in accordance with the laws ofthe land–or allow us to build a new nation for ourselves, dedicated to justice, freedom and liberty.

    7. As long as we are not allowed to establish a state orterritory of our own, we demand not only equal justiceunder the laws of the United States, but equal employment

  • opportunities–NOW! We do not believe that after 400 yearsof free or nearly free labour, sweat and blood, which hashelped America become rich and powerful, so manythousands of Black people should have to subsist on reliefor charity or live in poor houses.

    8. We want the government of the United States to exemptour people from ALL taxation as long as we are deprived ofequal justice under the laws of the land.

    9. We want equal education–but separate schools up to 16for boys and 18 for girls on the condition that the girls besent to women’s colleges and universities. We want allBlack children educated, taught and trained by their ownteachers. Under such schooling system we believe we willmake a better nation of people. The United Statesgovernment should provide, free, all necessary text booksand equipment, schools and college buildings. The Muslimteachers shall be left free to teach and train their people inthe way of righteousness, decency and self respect.

    10. We believe that intermarriage or race mixing should beprohibited. We want the religion of Islam taught withouthindrance or suppression.

    Master W Fard Muhammad

What The Muslims Believe1. WE BELIEVE In the One God whose proper Name isAllah.

    2. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Qur’an and in the Scriptures ofall the Prophets of God.

    3. WE BELIEVE in the truth of the Bible, but we believethat it has been tampered with and must be reinterpretedso that mankind will not be snared by the falsehoods thathave been added to it.

    4. WE BELIEVE in Allah’s Prophets and the Scriptures theybrought to the people.

    5. WE BELIEVE in the the resurrection of the dead–not inphysical resurrection–but in mental resurrection. Webelieve that the so-called Negroes are most in need ofmental resurrection; therefore they will be resurrected first.Furthermore, we believe we are the people of God’schoice, as it has been written, that God would choose therejected and the despised. We can find no other personsfitting this description in these last days more that the so-

called Negroes in America. We believe in the resurrectionof the righteous.

    6. WE BELIEVE in the judgment; we believe this firstjudgment will take place as God revealed, in America…

    7. WE BELIEVE this is the time in history for the separationof the so-called Negroes and the so-called whiteAmericans. We believe the Black man should be freed inname as well as in fact. By this we mean that he should befreed from the names imposed upon him by his formerslave masters. Names which identified him as being theslave master’s slave. We believe that if we are free indeed,we should go in our own people’s names–the Black peopleof the Earth.

    8. WE BELIEVE in justice for all, whether in God or not; webelieve as others, that we are due equal justice as humanbeings. We believe in equality–as a nation–of equals. Wedo not believe that we are equal with our slave masters inthe status of “freed slaves.” We recognize and respectAmerican citizens as independent peoples and we respecttheir laws which govern this nation.

    9. WE BELIEVE that the offer of integration is hypocriticaland is made by those who are trying to deceive the Blackpeoples into believing that their 400-year-old open enemiesof freedom, justice and equality are, all of a sudden, their“friends.” Furthermore, we believe that such deception isintended to prevent Black people from realizing that thetime in history has arrived for the separation from thewhites of this nation. If the white people are truthful abouttheir professed friendship toward the so-called Negro, theycan prove it by dividing up America with their slaves. We donot believe that America will ever be able to furnish enoughjobs for her own millions of unemployed, in addition to jobsfor the 20,000,000 black people as well.

    10. WE BELIEVE that we who declare ourselves to berighteous Muslims, should not participate in wars whichtake the lives of humans. We do not believe this nationshould force us to take part in such wars, for we havenothing to gain from it unless America agrees to give us thenecessary territory wherein we may have something to fightfor.

    11. WE BELIEVE our women should be respected andprotected as the women of other nationalities are respectedand protected.

    12. WE BELIEVE that Allah (God) appeared in the Personof Master W Fard Muhammad, July, 1930; the long-awaited“Messiah” of the Christians and the “Mahdi” of the Muslims. We believe further and lastly that Allah is God and besidesHIM there is no god and He will bring about a universalgovernment of peace wherein we all can live in peacetogether.
