Wild Wednesdays Every Wednesday we have a summer event for youth entering

grades 7th-12th in the 2019-20 school year. Each Wednesday we will join together for a wild adventure.

Wednesday June 5

Welcome 7th Graders BBQ and North Fork Outfitters Youth and their families are invited to this event, let’s welcome the new 7th graders into youth group. Barbeque, North Fork Outfitters Ac-tivities and fellowship!!! Meet in the north parking lot at Skyview Lake by the pavilion. We will enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and other

activities with the youth after the Barbeque.

Time: 6pm-8pm. Families bring: A-K Salad, L-O Chips, P-Z Des-sert (no nuts please) Please bring your own drinks. Cost of North

Fork Outfitters activities is covered.

Wednesday June 12

Life Size Game Night and Ice Cream Party. Join us for Life Size Game Night and an Ice Cream Party here @ church. Meet in the

Sr High room.

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm. Bring your favorite ice cream topping to share. (no nuts please). Parent supervisors need for this

event.

Wednesday June 19

Karttrax Family Fun Park in Yankton. Youth will meet at church at 5:00pm, we will travel together to Yankton; to do mini golf, go kart rides and bumper boats then eat ice cream before returning

to Norfolk around 9:30pm.

Time: 5:00pm-9:30pm. Cost: $25 for 3 activities, ice cream, and gas. Bring $10 for food/dinner if you want to eat as well.

Sign up online by Monday June 17th. Parent drivers needed for this event, your admissions and gas are paid for. Youth please

bring $25 cash. Please wear your blue 318 youth shirt.

Wednesday June 26

Sarah’s Lake. We will meet at 5:00pm at OSL in the Sr. High room and head for a night of fun at Sarah’s Lake. We will play

games, grill hot dogs and enjoy fellowship together.

Time: 5:00pm-9:00pm. Bring a towel, sunscreen, water floats/toys, a picnic side/dessert (no nuts please) to share, a drink

(water), and swimsuit—come in your swimsuit with a cover-up on. Sign up online by Monday June 24th at noon. Parent drivers

needed for this event.

MEXICO Mexico Mission trip June 14-21 we will be join-ing with a church from Wisconsin to build hous-

es and hosting a VBS for the children across the border.

Girls Summer Book Club

7th –12th Grade Girls

Thursdays from 1-2:30pm, Study begins June 13

Guys will be guys. And now girls can know what that means! For Young Women Only dives into the myste-rious inner-workings of the teenage male mind so that you can begin to understand why guys say and do what they do. Exploring critical topics including respect, insecurity, appearance, physical affection, and the “tough and tender”-ness of guys, this book is also packed with “ask the expert” sections, quotes, and fun personal stories from guys in all walks of life. Why is he so visually stimulated? You may wish it weren’t so, but that won’t make it so. I don’t want to put on a front for him to like me. Actually, he wants your genuineness, too! This book will help you grasp how God wired the opposite sex so you can enjoy your relationships with them.

At Our Savior we work together with parents to Point Kids to Jesus. We offer something for two year olds and their parents through grade six.

XPLORE OUR SAVIOR SUNDAY SCHOOL WILL RE-SUME AFTER LABOR DAY!.

“ROAR” VACATION BI-BLE SCHOOL WILL BE THE EVENINGS OF SUN-DAY JULY 21-25, 6-8:10. Mark your family’s calen-dar and ask your friends to join us! While at “ROAR-VBS” we will be reminded that Life can be Wild...but God is GOOD. During this special week our entire church can help point kids to Jesus, there is some-thing for everyone!
