Local HIR dues are $10.00. National Membership is required.

Thank you in advance to the Higgins, Kolars and McNabneys for volunteering to bring the evening’s refreshments.

Will it ever stop raining? On the way back from the Membership Meet in Savannah, Georgia, we stopped to visit The Ark. It is starting to seem like a good idea! It has been difficult to find a nice day to exercise the A’s or mow the grass.

The Swan Lake Meet is beginning to come together. Many commit-ees have been visiting the venue and planning the different activities. I appreciate everyone’s efforts to make this a successful event. We still

need volunteers to help collect tickets at the various seminars, banquet events, sell raffle tickets, maintain the hospitality room, fill in at the registration desk and other behind-the-scenes activities.

The business meeting will be very interesting with reports from the MARC National Driving Tour and the incredible drive-out to LaPorte. Also, Art LeMere has a great program for us. Drive you’re ‘A’ like you stole it!

EDITOR’S CORNER

Another month has flown by! Here it is June already and we still haven’t had the old ‘A’ out. As soon as bag-pipe competition season slows down, we’ll be around! Sounds like May was a total blast between the drive-out to LaPorte, the Cobe Cup, two car shows and the SoHo Pa-rade…. Not to mention last week-end’s spontaneous Ice Cream Sun-dae/Sunday!

Last week we attended a wedding in California. Driving along the Pa-cific Highway from LA to San Diego I couldn’t help but think how much fun that drive would be in an A! As picturesque as it was however, nothing compares to the beauty of the Lake Michigan Shoreline and scenic byways of northwest Indiana!

Thanks for all the photos last month! Keep ‘em comin’!
