INTRODUCTION
The Pandamatenga plains ate ot lacustrine origin and cover and extensive areaLn eastern Chobe. There are tftree plains , the most extensive being thenorthevu plain (Kakulwane Sulokoi, which extends eastwards into 'Limba!,we. The
central plain is lecated a few kilometres west of Pandamatenga village, whilstthe southern plain lies just qouth of the Botawana Defence Force camr.
