RedRedCarpetpREADYEver wonder what stars really do to get ready for a big event? We turned to the pros to find out!
The Smile
The Body
One of the most important things to have on the red carpet? A sparkling smile, of course! “The brighter and whiter your teeth are, the younger you look,” says cosmetic dentist Dr. Lana Rozenberg. A week before a big event, she’ll give her clients a prophy jet cleaning ($250), which is a mixture of baking soda, diamond paste and polish that helps remove tough stains. After that, she uses Zoom ($650) to whiten teeth a few shades. On the day of, “I have them use Luster Now toothpaste. It contains Bluverite crystals
that coat the teeth and make them look even whiter.”
Getting a bangin’ bod for the red carpet doesn’t happen overnight. In fact, most stars start flocking to Dr. Simon Ourian’s dermatology office, Epione Beverly Hills, three months prior to the big day. Among the top requested procedures: Lipo-Freeze, a nonsurgical fat reduction ($2,000–$5,000 per area), and Trans-acoustic Therapy (TAT) cellulite treatment ($5,000 per area), which smooths the skin, creating a picture-worthy silhouette.
