The Sicilian Mafia The Sicilian Mafia, also known as Cosa Nostra ("Our Thing"), is a criminal syndicate (1)______ Sicily, Italy. It is a loose association of criminal groups that share a common organizational structure and code of conduct, and (2) ______ core activities are protection racketeering and the arbitration of disputes in the black market.
