Dear Club Membears,

I don’t know about you, but after this extra snowy winter, I have never been more eager to welcome spring. Each time a new season rolls around, a new set of memories comes flooding back – childhood bicycle rides through rain puddles, the first gardens I planted, and playing outdoors with friends enjoying the first warm spring days of the year. In fact, it is moments and memories such as these which inspire the artwork behind cherished Teddies figurines.

In this issue of the Town Tattler we give you a closer look at figurines that sweetly celebrate the spring season. You’ll also see pieces that are perfect for honoring Mother’s Day and our patriotic holidays. We are also sharing a sneak peek at some special figurines we are working on. I hope these pieces make you smile and help you to recall some of your own favorite memories.

As much as I promise to enjoy the springtime, our tropical Club theme has me already thinking about that warm summer sun! That’s what I love about the 2015 Club figurines – they have the power to inspire an island state of mind no matter what the weather may be. 1. From the top of each tomato, cut an “x” – about ¾ of the way through.2. Remove the stem with a knife and the pulp of the tomatoes with a small spoon or scooper.3. Gently open your “petals” and fill with cream cheese. Close tomato back up around cream cheese.4. Cut green onions lengthwise to your desired stem thickness. Insert green onion stems into bottoms of cheese filled tomatoes.5. Arrange them into a bouquet with the chives. Tie “stems” together with a chive. Enjoy!
