PALESTINE

The Second International Conference on Civil Engineering (2nd ICCE-P) is organized

by the Engineers Association - Jerusalem Center, Palestine (EA-JCP). The conference

comes as part of EA-JCP role in the advancement and development of the engineering

works in the country and providing local engineers with the opportunity to exchange

knowledge with their peers from other countries. This conference comes as the second in

series of international conferences in civil engineering held in Palestine, as the first was

successfully organized in 2013.

The 2nd ICCE-P also aims at allowing for development of the civil engineering practice,

upgrading the quality of work, enhancing research and creativity, and attracting new

investments and technologies in the field of civil engineering.

General Conditions and Rules

1. Abstracts must be submitted via the website www.iccepalestine.com by the given deadline

April 1, 2019. Abstracts received via fax, e-mail or received after the deadline will not be

accepted.

2. Submitted abstracts should include non-published content; therefore, abstracts previously

presented will not be accepted.

3. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of

the abstract before submission.

4. Abstracts may not be edited/updated after final submission.

5. After the submission deadline, all abstracts will be automatically considered to be fully

submitted and will proceed to the peer review process.

6. All abstracts will be reviewed by the ICCE-P Scientific Committee. The Committee will

decide which abstracts will be accepted and may reconsider the final presentation type (Oral

Presentation or Poster) and theme selection.

7. You may submit more than one abstract. However, presenters that are accepted for oral

presentation will be permitted to give only one oral presentation. Additional accepted

abstracts will therefore be published only.

8. All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English or Arabic.

9. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and formal

structure. ICCE Committee reserves the right to edit abstracts if necessary prior to the

publication on the ICCE Website.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

GUIDELINES

Abstract Formatting

1. Abstract Topic – abstracts must be allocated to a specific Theme and Sub Theme.

2. Abstract title – limited to 20 words.

3. Abstract text – limited to 250 words.

4. Abstract layout – Abstract a single paragraph that includes objectives, methodology, key

results, and conclusion.

5. Keyword – limited to 5 words.

ABSTRACT SUBMITTERS' DECLARATION

During abstract submission you will be asked to confirm that you agree to the following:

1. I confirm that I reviewed this abstract and that all information is correct. I accept that I

cannot modify or correct the content of this abstract after submission and I am aware that it

will be published as submitted or after requested modification.

2. I confirm that there is no rights to any other party relating to the work submitted and I take

full responsibility and consequences of any allegations appearing in this regard.

3. Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication.

4. The Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a copyright license to reproduce, publish,

translate, distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual,

irrevocable nonexclusive basis.

5. The Organizers reserve the right to remove abstract which does not comply with the above.

6. I understand that I must select a specific Theme and Sub Theme for my abstract allocation.

Although the committee will work hard to honor this selection, this cannot be guaranteed.

The Committee reserves the right to change the Theme and Sub Theme under which the

abstract was originally submitted.

7. Acceptance of the abstract does not mean approval or acceptance of the scientific paper.

8. The Scientific Committee members have the right to reject any submitted abstract based on

results.
