• Positions at the main pedestrian crossings

near primary schools

• 7.600 children benefit from this service

• 6 „Pedibus“: groups of pupils accompanied

by crossing guards by foot

• Escort in the busses of Casanova and

Firmian: groups of children accompanied by

crossing guards in bus

• School streets: Prohibition of traffic for ca. 15

minutes during start and end of school

• crossing guards are hired with a contract and insured by the administration

during the performance of the service.

police (coordination of the staff, attendance check, assignment of posts,

replacement of absent staff, problem management)
