The School Identity Guidelines
Queen Margaret’s has developed a brand identity which already appears on many items
including the website, prospectus, advertising and newsletter. It has gradually been introduced
onto many other school communications including events programmes, internal documentation,
signage, vehicles, sports kit and many other items.
For the school to gain the maximum benefi t from the School identity it is essential that
these implementation guidelines are adhered to at all times. If you are unsure about any aspect
of these guidelines please consult the school marketing department.
Please note that the Queen Margaret’s School identity has two principle elements; the main
School name style and the School logo, both of which are shown below.
Details of how to reproduce these two elements are contained within this document.
01
Introducing the School Identity
1. The School identity
2. The School Logo
The Queen Margaret’s brand guidelines for the School identity are designed to ensure
consistency of application. If you are unsure about any aspect of these guidelines please consult
the Marketing Department.
The identity is available in various formats depending on the
media requirement.
The logo should be ranged left on communications
although ranging left is can be used in certain circumstances.
For legibility the identity should be clear from other graphic
elements, as indicated by the dotted lines.
The distance x is the distance between the rule and the Q of
Queen Margaret’s text indicted by Y. The rule and the address
has a fi xed position and size in relation to the Queen Margaret’s
lettering. This must not be altered in any way.
The identity should always be reproduced from digital
artwork, available from the Marketing Department.
The School identity is available in the following categories.
Two special colours, One special colour, CMYK, or
Black & White. See pages 03 and 04 for specifi cations.
