Greetings!
Happy Summer! Hopefully you are enjoying these warm days talking a walk
in the early morning or evening to avoid the hottest part of the day, or
maybe you have a pool and can enjoy a swim to cool off. Enjoy the beauty
of these days, the bright sunshine and the singing birds. Take advantage of
outdoor concerts and activities that only come to us in the summer.
Especially burgers on the grill and corn on the cob!! Perhaps you’d like to
stay cool and don’t have air conditioning at your house? Come and visit the
senior center where it’s always cool and comfortable and there is always
something going on!
There are so many great activities and events for you to participate in this month. To highlight a couple… we are excited about an ice cream social on July 7th at noon sponsored by our friends at Brookdale. Sign up today!
Also, we have another great band coming on July 23rd for our next dinner dance. Sign up early as this event will sell out!
On July 28th we will be hosting another Paint-Sip-Fundraiser! Come create a beautiful painting, have fun and help us raise money for programs and activities at the center! Sign up today!
Check out the save the date section of this scribe and take note of some of the great new programs coming this fall! See you soon! BECKY…..
