Please join the WMU in a season of prayer and offering for our Georgia Baptist Mission Board and Missionaries. Our Goal : $1500 For the safety of all involved, the Missions Committee has decided that we will only offer take out for the Chicken Q. The cost is $10 per plate. If you have a ticket with an April date, those will still be honored on the day of the event. Tickets must be purchased by September 23. If you are selling tickets, all money and unsold tickets must be turned in to a Missions Commit- tee member by that date. The Sardis WMU directors and leaders would like to invite all women of the church to join us as we begin a new year of missions and fellowship. All circles will meet together on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Debbie Hawkins, our missionary in residence, will be our guest speaker. Debbie has been serving the Lord in Senegal, West Africa. The Women’s Interdenominational Bible Study will begin on Monday, September 14 th at 9:30 am. We weren’t able to finish Dr. David Jeremiah’s “Slaying the Giants” because of the quarantine. We will start with it and then begin studying “The Jesus You May Not Know.” We can never know too much about Jesus, especially during these difficult times! If you’ve been thinking about getting started in a Bible study, now is the right time. We’d love for you to check us out to begin studying with us.
