The saga of a 5 year journey… Like every journey, my journey also began with the first small step… The first small step

was the most difficult one and yet is still the most memorable one. I have now come a long way

after putting that one first small step to reach where I am today, to cross the many barriers and

obstacles to reach where I am today, to cherish so many touching moments, so many happy

memories and so many lessons learnt. I have now come a long way making so many friends and

meeting so many noble souls in my five years of journey. Yet there is a long way to go. Yet there

are many a goals to reach. There is a lot more to be done, many more lives to be touched. My

journey has just began. My journey has to go on making a difference in the lives of many more

needy, bringing cheers to many more people, bringing smiles on the faces of so many more. The

journey has, actually, just began. This is my journey - the journey of Serve The Needy.

Beginning the journey with just one rupee, Serve The Needy, started off with lots of hope

in the heart and an undying spirit to work for a better society.

Our First Step

� Our journey begun in Aug ‘06 with a generic but persistent intention of helping the needy and the destitute in the society.

� We marked the launch of Serve The Needy with a Food Donation event for 40 street

children on 26th August ’06.

Our Vision

� To improve the lives of the helpless, homeless, suffering and the needy of our Society.

� To make a difference in the lives of these people by providing sustained support and making them self sufficient by putting in unrelenting efforts in achieving the objectives of Serve The Needy through our events.

Our Objective

� To create awareness amongst the stakeholders of the society about the suffering,
