To prepare for this colossal game, the seniors and juniors practiced twice with their coach es. Mr. Brendan Powers, the senior coach, had to be begged by the senior class to coach this year. The competition started early for junior coaches Ms. Leslie Fulton and Ms. Jen nifer Patton with their taunt ing the seniors since the incep tion of their titles as coaches. However, the joking stopped when Ms. Fulton and Ms. Pat ton tried to get into the senior class picture at the end of the game. “I started laughing when I saw them standing there,” said Caitlin Dinunzio ’11. The game arrived and the play ers were ready for combat. Junior Sarah Berbos said, “It got really intense.” As the game went on, only one true injury happened. For seniors, nights like prom are a reminder that our high school journey is in fact coming to a close. Senior Alex Collins said, “Prom was bittersweet. It was so exciting, being that it was our senior prom and know ing that we are going to look back on it after we graduate and carry those memories with us. But it was also sad to think that it was our last high school dance, and one of the last times that we would all be together.” Fortunately, prom was an event worth looking back on. After a year (prom 2010 and Homecoming 2010) of the dance “queen” crown being awarded to girls of our sister school Connelly, the title of prom queen was granted to Rosary senior Sarah Pontius. Other Rosary ladies represent ing us on court were senior princesses Mary Walker and Cristina Montes, and as our junior princess, Shelby Higgs.
