The Roadrunner A roadrunner is a bird. It is small, its facial

colors are red and blue. It has feathers that are brown, black, and white. When you see roadrunners they are normally

found in dry areas. Like deserts in Texas defending their babies in woodlands in Houston too. Roadrunners are in the

U.S.A in the state of Texas in the really dry areas. Like deserts also in woodlands in Texas . They can also be seen running

across highways in the dry areas of Texas.

• The roadrunner is a vertebrate and also a bird. I know this because it can fly. The roadrunner eats insects, lizards, small snakes, and rodents. The roadrunner is an omnivore. Many things are predators of roadrunners. Including, bobcats, coyotes, and Hawks. They all eat the roadrunner.

• There are many interesting facts about the roadrunner. One being that they can run up to 17 miles per hour. Another being that they can fly. And finally that they can show red and blue facial skin when trying to defend from predators. Those are some interesting facts about the roadrunner.
