This bonus listing is like a restaurant menu. If you order everything on the menu and eat it,
you are going to get sick and perhaps die. Please choose bonus destinations carefully.
All times are local unless otherwise specified.
Unless otherwise specified, rally ID flags are required in all photos.
To earn any bonus, you MUST claim it on the Claimed Bonus form. This includes Rest bonuses,
Call-In bonuses, and Tracking bonuses. If you lose the Claimed Bonus form, you will earn no
bonus points for the leg.

Rally staff will be available at 5 pm for early check-in. Dinner is available from 6pm – 10 pm
Time penalty begins at 8:00:01 pm. After 8:00:00 pm there will be a per minute penalty for being late. "Minutes" will be rounded up at one second past the key time. For example, 8:00:01 (one second past 8:00 pm) will be counted as 1 minute late. Any rider who arrives after 10:00:00 pm (beginning 10:00:01 pm) will not be considered a rally finisher.
Bonus point listings will be handed out at 4:00 am Friday, June 21, 2019 for the next leg of the rally. Riders may depart upon receipt of paperwork.

Ride south and up the hill on Chimney Rock Road, approx. 3.0 miles total. The information sign is at 35.4328, -82.2503.
Chimney Rock is a 315-foot tall granite monolith and the centerpiece of this state park.
NOTE: The ticket plaza closes at 5:30PM, although the park remains open until 7pm. Tickets are required to enter the park, available either online or on site. If you arrive after 5:30pm, you will not be able to enter the park to claim this bonus . If you are in the park after 5:30pm it is acceptable to take the photo any time up to 7pm when the park closes.

Castle Rock is a large limestone pillar in Kansas' Smoky Hills region. It was used as a landmark on the Overland Trail stagecoach route. ATTENTION: Reaching Castle Rock will involve riding many miles of unimproved gravel and dirt road.

In the middle of Fort Gaines lies the anchor from the U.S.S. Hartford, from which Admiral Farragut famously ordered "Damn the torpedoes!" during the Battle of Mobile Bay in 1864.

Fort Mountain gets its name from the remnants of a stone formation around part of the peak.

An unpaved single-lane road one-way from south to north, ride Rich Mountain Road from Cades Cove north toward Townsend, TN. Cades Cove Scenic Loop, which you are required to ride to get to the south end of Rich Mountain Road, closes at dusk.

Take the short, 1 mile hike up Cedar Creek to the end of the trail at the observation area for Lace Falls. The trail starts at Natural Bridge Entrance and Gift Shop. There is an $8 park fee for this hike, paid at the Natural Bridge State Park Visitor Center
Natural Bridge is a 215-foot tall limestone archway carved by Cedar Creek. Enjoy the views and forest trail as you take the hike through Natural Bridge and up the creek to Lace Falls.
Take a photo looking up the creek to Lace Falls from the observation area with your flag on the stone wall and get a time-dated entry receipt for Natural Bridge State Park.

Fort Morgan was built between 1819 and 1833. It played a significant role during the Civil War's Battle of Mobile Bay in 1864.

From the intersection of WA-410 and Sunrise Park Road, travel westerly on Sunrise Park road 15.5 miles to the Sunrise Visitor Center. The visitor center building is at the west end of the parking lot.
Mt. Rainier is considered one of the 16 most dangerous volcanos in the world. This is due to its proximity to the greater Seattle area, its volume of glacial ice, and the nature of volcanic lahars that are typical of eruptions in the Pacific northwest.
Don't let that happy news deter you from ascending the east side of the mountain to the Sunrise Visitor Center.

Monument Rocks, together with Castle Rock 31 miles to the east, are jointly named as one of the 8 Wonders of Kansas. ATTENTION: Reaching Monument Rocks will involve riding several miles of unimproved gravel and dirt road.
Take a photo of the rock section with the arch from the specified GPS coordinates as shown in the photo at right. Your motorcycle must be in the photograph.

The Mount Evans Scenic Byway is the highest paved road in North America, reaching a final elevation of 14,130'. At the summit you will find the ruins of the Crest House restaurant, which was lost due to fire in 1979 and not rebuilt.

Mushroom Rocks State Park South of Ave K Ellsworth Area, KS

These mushroom-shaped rocks are examples of hoodoos, formed through nonuniform erosion. Note that roads approaching the park are not paved.
Take a photo of the mushroom rock south of Avenue K at Mushroom Rock State Park. This will require a short walk from the parking area.

From the Ocracoke South ferry terminal, travel on NC-12 0.6 miles through town to Lighthouse road. Turn right (southwest) on Lighthouse road and proceed 0.3 miles to the lighthouse grounds.
Ocracoke Light is the oldest operating light station in North Carolina.

George Wyman stopped here in 1903 overnight to fix the "final drive" rear axle at a local blacksmith shop across from the current City Hall. The memorial plaque and Wyman Waypoint sign outside City Hall were dedicated by Team Strange in memory of Eddie James.

Note: Owyhee Lake Road is paved from the north along the length of the river canyon to the campground. There are numerous "shortcuts" over the hills from the farmlands to the east that are unpaved and may require high-clearance 4WD even in good weather.

George Wyman stopped here for lunch on May 24, 1903 on the first ever transcontinental motorcycle ride. He rode out of the nearby railroad tunnel to reach this spot.

After the ride you had getting up near the top of Max Patch Mountain, we'll be nice and not require you to hike the remaining distance to the top. Note: The roads leading to Max Patch are narrow, twisty, and unpaved.

Turn right (northeast) onto S Main St (Lincoln Hwy) and travel 0.4 mile. Turn right (southeast) on W Carson St (Lincoln Hwy) for 0.5 mile. Turn left (northeast) on W Station Square Dr into parking area for Duquesne Incline. The Incline is at 40.4401, -80.0173.
The Duquesne Incline was opened to the public in 1877 to provide easier transit between the river valley and new homesites above.
Note: The Incline is open M-Sat, 0530-0030 and Sunday 0700-0030 but this bonus may only be claimed in the daylight.

Just north of the border with South Carolina on NC-281 you will find a drive and parking lot for the Upper Whitewater Falls Trail Access. Park there and stroll to the viewing platform for Upper Whitewater Falls. Follow the paved walkway to the upper overlook. The walkway begins at the end of the parking lot. A lower overlook is located at the bottom of 154 wooden steps.
