We FADE IN on this city, Metropolis. It is a average sunny day like any other day in this city. We have a MONTAGE of the city. Some HELICOPTER SHOTS and SHOTS on the streets. The last SHOT is this sky scraper. This is the DAILY PLANET, the newspaper of Metropolis. The spinning globe on top of the building. INT. PERRY’S OFFICE -- DAY TIME This MAN sits behind the desk smoking a cigar and has a glass of whiskey. This is PERRY WHITE, he is the owner of the Daily Planet. He is in his mid sixties and has a gut on him. This other person is in the room, black haired, skinny, late thirties and is beautiful. Her name is LOIS LANE, the smart, always gets the best story before anyone else. Also she always has something to say. PERRY Lane, I need the report on the chest tournament that was Saturday. LOIS Perry no one wants some dumb story about some old people playing chess. We need a hard hitting story. PERRY What story would you like to cover Lane? LOIS Perry, you know I always cover Superman’s stories. PERRY Lois your risking your life everyday to get the best story in Metropolis. I can’t loose you, your the only thing that is holding us together. LOIS Perry I’m gonna be fine, Superman is always there to save me. PERRY Lois, as much Superman is a great person and a helper and all, he is getting older and eventually he will-- LOIS You think he won’t be able to save me because he is getting older?
