Autumn is here and for many of us that means the return to our routine and the dash to the end of the year. We’re planning for family gatherings. Those of us who are parents are happy (really happy) our children are back in school. There’s football to watch and holiday shopping to strategize. The lazy days of summer have passed and we are now back to being really busy.

One very important task to put on your growing “to-do” list is planning your next exchange vacation with The Registry Collection® program. When members of The Registry Collection® program wish to plan their next vacation, our Registration Consultants are just a phone call away. Your Consultant can offer advice on travel, accommodations and destinations, answer your program benefits questions, and assist you with every step of the exchange process.

After members have contacted our Consultants, they may complete a survey about the level of service they experienced during that call. A recent survey was completed by Alan Zuckerman, a Grand Mayan owner and a member of The Registry Collection program since 2007. Through his membership, Mr. Zuckerman has traveled to Cabo San Lucas seven times.

Mr. Zuckerman was planning his most recent trip when he spoke with Reservation Consultant Maureen O’Keefe Maranto, who explained to him how to deposit his weeks to facilitate two consecutive weeks at The Grand Regina in Cabo San Lucas. She also set up a search request for him, and he recently confirmed and booked one of his requested weeks. After their conversation, Mr. Zuckerman had nothing but praise for the service he received:

updaTesCurrent Sample Availability—New features The next time you visit our Current Sample Availability page, you will find two new features to make it even easier to plan your next getaway with The Registry Collection® program. Now in the “Name/Location” chart, when you glide your cursor over the “Check-in Date” column, the corresponding check-in day will appear over each date. In addition, when your cursor runs over the number of rooms column, the required number of credits for each listing appears.

Credit ExtensionIf you aren’t able to use your deposit during your travel window, for a Deposit Extension fee of $69USD, you have a one-time-only opportunity to add three months to your travel window. Call your Reservation Consultant for more information.

Last CallSM GetawaysNow enjoy last-minute travel year-round at a selection of popular destinations. You may also save your credits and pay $1,495USD to confirm your Last Call Getaways. Q&a’sQ: In the directory the deposit window states that The Registry Collection® program accepts deposits 120 to 365 days in advance. But when I call in I am told you will accept deposits only up to 90 days in advance. What is the correct deposit window?

A: We are still currently accepting deposits 90 to 365 days in advance of the check-in.

Q: I want to exchange my credits for vacation to an All-Inclusive but I see that there is an additional fee. Why?

A: When confirming a reservation at a property that offers an All-Inclusive option, your credits exchange for your accommodations only. The additional fee, which is paid directly to the property you have confirmed, covers your complete vacation experience, during which all of your needs are met. Typically your additional fee covers resort experiences including, but not limited to, your transportation to and from the airport, food, beverages (alcoholic and non-), room service, daily kitchen replenishment, resort activities and some tours. The All-Inclusive feature allows members a worry-free, cash-free vacation.
