schools in the county. Here are some pictures

from “character day” and “decade day” at WHES.

The HCHS cheerleaders helped get the students

bragging rights. Even though

HCMS did not finish in first place,

everyone involved had a great

time.

The Rebel Way is in full swing at

HCMS. Thus far, the staff has taught

two school-wide PBIS lessons. The

first lesson focused on school-wide be-

havioral expectations. The second ad-

dressed proper behavior during

school assemblies. We are happy to re-

port that our students responded well

to these lessons and can regularly be

found setting behavioral examples to

emulate. Thanks to our great stu-

dents, the school logged a total of

FIVE disciplinary referrals for the

month of August.! Way to go Rebels!

The PBIS team at HCMS sponsored a “Top Dawg”

party to celebrate the many successes already seen

at HCMS this school year. The faculty and staff were

treated with “super dogs” and all of the trimmings

for lunch!
